I would think Pisces, Aquarius and maybe Scorpio. It just depends on the placements I'd think. Mercury in Scorpio or having Mercury with a Saturn aspect could make one think in a deeper way and not be as superficial. A lot of intense Pisces placements could also make one this way. Like a Pisces Moon in H8 or H12, maybe? I know a Scorpio sun with Venus and Mercury and Scorpio and at times, they can be pretty realistic and not superficial at all.... but then at other times, they care WAY too much about perfecting their hair, and having perfect make-up, and how ugly a guy is if they are checking him out or wanting to date him. But then she can flip back to being accepting of others' flaws and dating guys who are overweight or just unexpected for her personality so, hey, who knows. Maybe she flip-flops between being Scorpionic and Leonian, since she's a lunar Leo...  ------------------

All my friends are very pretty though. I have two Leo friends who id say have or are dating down too. But all my friends are beautiful. Even my best guy friend is gorgeous. People will even comment how beautiful we all are together. Not being cocky, just explaining friend competition is not something that affects who I have as friends. I guess I am shallow bc I tend to just have pretty friends but we have more in common.

Appearance being equated to either really positive personality traits or really negative ones... is such a myth.

Are you being serious - or just propagating old wives tales? There's a similar myth running along when it comes to men.. which is similarly BS. It sounds like a Disney story.... The poor little ugly frog with the really nice personality who turns into a prince. Give me a break.
I've met the 'ugly frog' type - with an equally ugly personality. The only thing you can correlate with looks is health... if we are talking about the difference between obesity and personal fitness, for instance. If you want to correlate something with personality - go to LIFE EXPERIENCE, rather than physical appearance.

Haha yet again someone puts words in my mouth,i never said all pretty girls were mean,i specifically mentioned the ones with better than you attitudes, naturally there are some sweet pretty girls ,and lord knows i have met some very mean people who arent at all what you call attractive,but i will say that its harder to be humble when you go through life and everyone kisses your a**,that much is true,and what alot of people on here need to understand is that when people give their experiences they are simply giving that.. experiences, so my experiences will be different than yours, as i live in east tennessee and the rest of you come from everywhere,so we are all going to have different experiences. But as i said i live in a very rich suburb of knoxville and most of the girls here are daddys girls who got a brand new bmw when they turned 16,and alot of them have that better than you attitude, but i know thats not the case everywhere,i was giving my experience.IP: Logged |

Anyway - as that Indian saying goes: "Don’t Judge Another, Until You Walk A Mile In Their Moccasins" I don't actually think anyone goes through life that easily and happily whether they are good looking, wealthy or not. It was a comment about their appearance.. and how they disgust you.. So, I really couldn't guess what you meant, from that. Secondly - Are you saying that the male kids in these families - are *not* spoilt? So it's just the girls? Or just the pretty girls? In any event - unless you know someone on a more personal level, you can't just say "oh look what an easy life they have!"... because it might not seem that way from their perspective at all. Well there's some potent Air sign haterade on this thread. Just kidding... I think every sign can be pretty superficial or not. One of the most superficial individuals I've ever known was a Taurus. The second was a Virgo. Airs signs are always the scapegoats for superficiality. No fair. I don't know any superficial air signs. I mean it can go either way for all signs. Air signs just tend to be positive. What's so bad about that? Life doesn't always have to be dreary.The least superficial is Scorpio. Yes i stand behind what i said people with the attitude that they are better than you turn me off, if you arent like that theres no reason to get huffy about it, and i do personally know alot of them as i went through middle and high school with them,so i saw them in action. I have a Pisces moon in the 8th trine Pluto and I'm pretty shallow, not going to lie. Not about friends just about who I date. But my strongest planet is Venus, so that could explain it.

It ^ was a very cliche comment... one made by a great number of people out there... and one that does not really reflect the reality of the situation.
There is no connection between appearance and jerk-y behaviour. Do you ever wonder why no one says: "You could be the ugliest person in the world.. but I will never help you out...if you also have an ugly personality" "You could be badly disabled... but I will never care for you - if you have an ugly personality". Double standards?
Is it more acceptable for 'some' people to have ugly personalities and for everyone else to put up with it?

But everyone is happy to keep pasting and re-pasting the whole "Beauty means nothing with a bad personality" thing.. I don't feel like my reply was unwarranted, considering the way you phrased that. I only mentioned your sign - because what you said is very cliche.

It seems some people (not you personally aqua guy) -- but many out there.. are under the impression that the average guy would say.... "beauty is everything. I want to be with/date/have sex with/marry a beautiful woman"....Actually - that's not true. Most men would say the opposite (what they DO is another matter, since not everyone practices what they preach).
But they would say exactly what you said... because what you said is the most socially acceptable thing to say. Any politician or religious leader in this world - could come out on national television any day - and say "Personality means more than good looks". When a message is *that* perfectly socially acceptable - it is usually at least 50% BS - in my personal opinion. Obviously we can agree to disagree. IP: Logged |

My personal experience with many of the really conventionally attractive girls is that they do indeed act like they are better than others (especially average guys), and this is irrespective of sign. Not in every case of course but in enough of them that I can say I too have seen this and I agree.IP: Logged |
