I do have a soft spot for Leos myself. I even notice that a lot of actors who play my favorite characters on my favorite TV shows are Leos. I can definitely pick up that Leo energy onscreen, even if their characters are given birthdays and are other signs. Even my dog that I had (the one that died) was a Leo. He was a little divo but I loved that little guy; still do. I don't always get along with the guys that well, but I still like the sign. There's only one Leo that I strongly dislike, and that Leo is just not a good person. I like the sign overall.

No, I've never been described as stuck-up. Well, maybe by a guy hitting on me in an elevator whose advances I did not respond to (lol, obviously he's quite arrogant himself), but the majority of people I meet think I'm pretty friendly.IP: Logged |

I think it's relative to each person. I'm all Air and Fire and I'm not a man, but I don't consider myself to be a d-bag. Poor Air and Fire, always getting thrown under the bus. Most Air/Fire dominant individuals are too scattered to be jerks. They need water or earth to ground that energy. But it's all relative to the individual. I'm Air Sun, Ascendant, Mercury and Jupiter, with Fire Moon and Mars....and it continues. I've got 5 planets in Fire. I don't think Aqua guys are jerks. I think they're fine. It just depends on the person. They can be some of the sweetest people. And maybe they come off arrogant at times if they know a lot or feel entitled, which I think would be a result of having Cappie placements. The Aquarius/Capricorns I've known have at times been very entitled and arrogant. They have a no-nonsense attitude and don't really know how to listen to others. Nothing is up for discussion. My estranged father is a Aqua/Cap grrr.... IP: Logged |

Yes, I have gotten this type of comment. I was actually told that somebody thought I was being "rude" and never saying hi to them. I can be socially awkward, and not observe the proper "ettiquite" as it were. If I arrive at a table of people, I don't want to have to say hello to every single person and disrupt things, so I smile and make eye contact, but it will take me a while to really speak with everyone. But it's really me being shy becuase I don't open up immediately to just anyone, I don't realize it's coming across as "rude". Half the time I'm stuck in my own little world of thoughts and nobody wants to know what they are anyway. LOL. Triple Aqua here. IP: Logged |

Third decan seems stuck up to me sometimes. First decan I relate to fine because that's where my Mercury is. Second decan...I've never seen any snobby people there. Third...yes. Like I'm sure Jennifer Aniston is friendly, but she also can be a little condescending, and it grates on my nerves. Same with Drew Barrymore, I just have this aversion to her. But I'm not saying they are all haughty and bad. First impressions.

Yes. I'm not stuck up, often times I want to meet new people, but I can't for the life of me pretend to interested in people who bore me. IP: Logged |

It could be that you may come across aloof or distant and that gets interpreted as stuck up? Sometimes people easily get pegged as stuck up when they've only met someone once or twice. I've was called "cold and unapproachable" (the biggest insult I've ever received!) once by a sorority sister who I probably never said more than 5 words to in my life. It was clearly HER insecurities that made her feel threatened by me. Sometimes I think aquas get a cheap wrap because they have their own unique style and aren't you're typical mainstream folks, others interpret that as being "too good". Wasn't their a thread about how aquas don't go out of their way to engage in empty conversation? I know I can't stand idle chit chat about the weather, it's so forced! I think the typical aqua trait to have strong ideals can also make their passion seem almost as if they're morally better than others. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it's the people close to you that are saying these things. In that instance, maybe it's something else in your chart? ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

Yeah, i often get perceived as aloof and snobbish, i even got perceived as intimidating by others, when all i did was be reserved and quiet around unfamiliar people. I guess i have to blame my ascendant which is aquarius, and mars and pluto squaring my ascendant as well. Then when they get to know me they tell me that they thought i was stuck up at first, but they found out that i'm not. I just don't have one of those "friendly looking faces" i guess, lol.I also thought that the typical piscean shyness was to blame when i act like my crush doesn't exist whenever he's around. I never knew that that is also an aquarian trait, lol. IP: Logged |

Yes all the time. I've never really had good relationships with women. I can recall countless times people after getting to know me tell me they're surprised I'm as cool as I am because I look stuck. Ouch. Thanks I guess. My taurus rising and cap venus might play a role in this. IP: Logged |

I'm not proud of this though because I've truly hurt some people that I love.

Aquacheeka, Yes. Socially awkward that way. I am always anxious of my behavior being offensive because I don't want to hurt anyone or make them uncomfortable. I'm on "hyper alert" a lot, trying to keep a room neutral and pleasant. Not sure if that's aquarian, though. But in doing this, I will laugh at things that apparently aren't funny. I also have a bit of a warped sense of humor, and have to tone it down in public LOL. I also will come at somebody like a BULLDOG if I feel they are mistreating a friend, family member, or weaker person. DO NOT cross that line with me, especially in a sneaky way. I find myself biting my tongue a LOT, especially online. IP: Logged |

I don't ever think I've called an Aquarius stuck up. They just aren't. Aloof, cold, distant, yes, sometimes. But that's more awkwardness, not arrogance.IP: Logged |

I can relate, even though I only have Mercury in Aquarius. It trines Libra Pluto in my 3H and Gemini Mars. Actually my chart has a loose air-fire grand sextile. Maybe that's why I don't bite my tongue. If someone p*sses me off, I just tell them. This can clear the air in a refreshing way, as far as I'm concerned. Yes I have been a b*tch sometimes, and I have my regrets. Otherwise, I don't see it as a liability. IP: Logged |

ALL of the Aquarians I know/knew have been the complete opposite of stuck and arrogant. They were distant/objective and non-emotional. Very intelligent people! They never let their emotions get a hold of them, imo. Maybe this is not you, Aquaguy, but a person with Uranus or Aquarius dominant in their chart. Whats your dominant sign?ALSO, my mercury in Libra in the 5th house is in the Aquarius Decan. Holla! ----------------- “Shoot for the moon. My very "old soul" 7 y.o. son is an Aquarius with Leo Moon and his teachers in kindergarten (last year) and first grade (this year) both commented that he's always trying to educate/correct the other kids in the class re: the RIGHT way to build with Legos or blocks, or the RIGHT way to say that sentence, etc. They put a sugar coating on the comments, but Mom (me) knows exactly what must be going on in that classroom, if it's anything resembling his behavior at home. I am definitely working with this child to try to inject some humility into his little ol' soul, because otherwise, he is going to have some issues socially... nobody likes a know it all, even if he's gorgeous.IP: Logged |

This reminds me of the time my grade two teacher thought I should skip a grade just because I asked her if you could get meningitis from someone with your own genes.
Of course I was going to be interested in genetics and science - I'm an Aqua.
