My good friend who also shares this conjunction (though I don't know house), has fiercely enjoyed her casual hookups prior to meeting her boyfriend. Since dating him, she's not been with anyone else and has been dating her bf for eight or nine years now.

I think Venus-Pluto can enjoy the forbidden and taboo, which by many is casual sex. But overall I think it finds its highest potential in a strong, committed relationship.

Of course, I don't think one aspect can be a determining factor for anything because there are many ways it can play out. But I do think Venus or mars to outer planets have the potential to be a little more promiscuous.

also I find mutable personal planets more prone to casual sex as their values or beliefs are whimsical. And Aquarians and Aqua planets are contrarian and love shock value, so they have this potential, too.

I stand by my earlier statements.

So, no, even if you have Scorp or 8th house influence, it doesn't mean that you'll be promiscuous or advocate it.

Of course, there may be certain signs with a higher affinity over and beyond the norm, but it certainly does not imply that the vast majority of any partioular sign leans one way or another.

Without doubt, men also behave differently from women. Not apportioning blame or shirking responsibility, but even my own mother encouraged me to sow the wild oats to the fullest extent possible and not be bogged down by any serious relationships with women, and even emphasizing the dark side of the female mentality, and how conniving and devious women are capable of being. So, her implicit view was that I should go have a ball until I find the right one. I can't blame her because she was only protecting her son, and since she didn't have daughters, she had a natural bias towards her boys. My dad explicitly egged me on, as though I were Alexander the great.

Eventually, I grew up and wised up. Not all people are mature right off the bat. I wised up after about 22-23 years old. Unfortunately, by then, I had already had sex with dozens and dozens of willing and accomodative girls.

I'm with Beautiful Disaster & Butterfly.
I'm a sun,merc,venus,nn,chiron in 5th. I'm also human and I can grow attached to people. Scorpio mars is a water sign, thus sex is performed in that fashion. I can honestly say that casual sex is not my natural forte. Albeit sex wouldn't stem feelings. I do have this weird ability to detach. Like If I'm single , then maybe I'd focus my attention on the casual sex partner as a spouse and try to woo them over for keeps. (if I like them enough) I'm detached because If I'm in love with someone it's very easy to have casual sex, because then it means nothing. No feeling there. I think that 5th romance is manifesting in a different way. I find enjoyment in a lot of my other recreational activities.
Jupiter in the 8th makes for casual sex !

Now, it baffles me that people think casual sex is "gross" and "wrong". I don't see how it's any more disgusting than your husband shoving his schlong into you? I guess I'm just not that uptight anymore..

People always say they need love and a connection and some go so far as to say that's the only non-gross, "right" sex. You people realize we're all human beings, animals at our core, who enjoy all sorts of physical sensations without emotional attachment, right? Biologically, sex isn't meant to fulfill your love needs.

Then I can be very sexual..and then I can detest sex all together.

I've been seeing someone for eight months or so and it's been three months engaging in anything sexual, he usually initiates and I just give in, but deep down I just want to disappear during the whole session.

I just detest sex with another person right now..I don't want to be touched by anyone..I don't want anyone to look at me or hit on me.

It's very hard on relationships when I get to this point.

Actually I think at this point time I just want to be left alone.
