The past few weeks, and especially the last few days, have been intense in ways that I have never experienced. 25 years of pain and stifled emotion, drug addiction and escapism is coming to an end..I feel myself shedding my skin. The death of who I was and the birth of who I will be. I checked my transits and Pluto is exactly conjunct my Sun..I have been checking the degree changing for years now, knowing that this time might come. I heard Pluto transits to the Sun are powerful. I never really felt this until it really became conjunct to the exact degree, and moreso to the exact minute. Have any of you experienced the Pluto-Sun conjunction and if so how did you handle it? I literallly feel like I'm going insane.IP: Logged |

I experienced it. My sun is at 7°58 cap and I believe the first time I experienced the very exact conjunction of pluto to my sun was last year. it was one of the darkest emotionally and psychologically speaking. A lot of issues were brought up and I couldn't escape but had to face them. It was a turning point in my life. Events were such that I had to open a new chapter. Uranus was exactly conjunct my MC and saturn exactly squared my Sun/Saturn/Asc/Moon so it was a very restless year for me emotionally. As you can see with pluto being at 7°28 cap I'm still going through it. With time though you sort of get used to pluto or at least learn to control the downside manifestation of the transit. I've read that usually this transit changes you and make place for a new better version of you. They say pluto purges. IP: Logged |

I went through Pluto conj Moon and Neptune (29 Sag). Now I am going through Pluto square natal Sun (and Uranus conj it). It is not yet exact and won't be until 2014 I think, but man oh man.. I do feel it. I felt the Moon one since 2004 and it was exact in 2007 and 2008. It's intense, I'll give you that.. I am purging too. Pluto is transiting my 12H, I am going through a lot of my subconscious stuff related to my abusive past and also doing therapy. I am trying to get things right, but temptation to go back to denial is still present. So are suicidal thoughts.. IP: Logged |

It's odd that you mention suicidal thoughts. Last year I was very depressed to the point where I was seriously considering such an awful thing. Do you think pluto transits bring those up? I just kept questioning the overall meaning of my life and I was deeply unsatisfied with how things were. I just kept looking back at all the hurt and the sadness was overwhelming and lasting. I definitely felt like I couldn't change anything. I honestly don't know how I got out of this very dark place but I thank God every day for leading me through it. I've learned how such thoughts pattern can be very detrimental to one's health and how they lead to nowhere. Whenever they rear their ugly heads I just beat them up with faith. I don't know your story but I truly hope you get through this edit: and I do agree that you feel pluto much sooner than the exact aspect. I was feeling it since 2008 but it sort of culminated and reached the highest level last year. IP: Logged |

Thank you, ueharaa! I hope you pull through alright and arrive on the other side a stronger person. Pluto does bring rewards, we should know this. It is hard as hell, during the Moon transit I felt like I will break in two. I think for me, that transit was a wake-up call. It is when I started to examine my life and made huge transformations since that time. It is also when I joined this forum and that has helped a lot, coming here, talking about it, finding people to relate to who were always very supportive of me.. Right now I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I was most likely sexually abused as an infant by my father. I always suspected but didn't exactly have anything concrete. Lately things became quite clear and there is no room to doubt now. But still don't know how I will get out of this mess. I am very angry, also very hurt and confused and temptation to go back into denial or just to drink myself into oblivion is so damn strong. Have resisted so far, but I still have some self-destructive tendencies. It feels like I will never be alright, like I am broken forever, damaged goods sort of speak. IP: Logged |

Some reading this might be wondering how to find out when Pluto transits their natal Sun. Or more generally, which natal planets (if any) Pluto is transiting in a given period of time (e.g., 2000-2020).This information is readily obtainable by using a program called Your Personal Transits. Since no-one in this thread so far has given their birthdate, I'll take as an example James Holmes, who has been prominent in the news lately, and whose recent actions are the subject of another thread. He was born in San Diego, CA, most likely on December 13, 1987. Birth time is unknown but birth time is irrelevant for all personal transits other than the Moon. We can set up the PAT program to ask: What planets in Holmes's natal chart was Pluto transiting during the period February 1, 2009, through December 1, 2012. From the answer (given in the form of transit tables) we obtain the following information: 1. Transiting Pluto formed a 5° sextile with natal Mars from January 18, 2012, through July 13, 2012. This did not become exact and reached a minimum of 3°21' on April 6, 2012. 2. Transiting Pluto formed a 5° conjunction with natal Uranus from July 10, 2009, through November 10, 2009. This did not become exact and reached a minimum of 4°6' on September 3, 2009. 3. Transiting Pluto formed two 5° sextiles with natal Pluto from February 3, 2011, through June 18, 2011, and from December 7, 2011 until sometime after January 2013. Neither became exact. The second reached a minimum of 1°54' on April 6, 2012 (the same date on which the Pluto-Mars transit reached a minimum). 4. Most interesting is the 3° conjunction between transiting Pluto and natal Neptune, which began on November 27, 2010, and will end on January 23, 2013. Within this period transiting Pluto forms five exact conjunctions with natal Neptune, on March 1, 2011; May 19, 2011; December 25, 2011, August 24, 2012; and October 12, 2012. At the time of the Aurora shooting this conjunction was just 0°39' from exact. As regards Pluto transiting Holmes's natal Sun, we can set up YPT to show all such transits from 1987 through 2027, and we find that Pluto formed a 3° conjunction with his natal Sun from October 31, 2003, through February 25, 2005 (in Holmes's late teens). During this period an exact conjunction occurred three times in 2004, on January 24, May 28 and November 23. Although this post has concentrated on Holmes's Pluto transits, the program can be used by anyone to find their own Pluto transits for any given period, and in particular, when (if ever) Pluto transits their natal Sun. Hera, sweetheart, I wish I could make you understand that YOU are not damaged goods; the adult abuser of an infant is the only one who should be feeling dirty or sinful. You didn't consent to such an atrocity; you couldn't have. You were powerless. Please, please, please!!!! Bathe yourself in white light and KNOW that you are a beautiful child of God who deserves to walk in purity and love. I will talk to you any time. I am a very good listener. Just let me know. We'll set it up. IP: Logged |

So why feel guilty? As an adult you do have a choice. You can choose to stop feeling guilty. You can choose to quit judging yourself negatively. If you make that choice (and, of course, you're free to do so or not to do so) you'll probably find that your life improves. IP: Logged |

Sending love and positive thoughts your way Hera. Never put yourself down for what happened.Pluto transits can be hard. I had Pluto transit my moon recently. My dad died, I delt with issues I had with him, issues with my mom. When it was over I had a whole new out look on my parents. I felt like a lot of the garbage I held onto was worked through. Its hard to go through but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've learned to not fight transits but embrace them. It can be hard but it makes the process easier to handle. IP: Logged |

Transiting Pluto was square my Sun for a long time. It was one of the most brutal times in my life. I suddenly got a mysterious and very serious thyroid sickness that no doctor could diagnose. I felt alone, isolated and needing to break out of my shell of security and normalcy. I felt like I was beating the wall and the wall wouldn't give. When the transit ended, my health miraculously began to improve. I didn't feel as sick anymore and, I began to become more calm within, like the end of a very stormy time in my life is in sight. Right now I have Sun opposite Uranus but I'll take that over the Pluto transit. Interestingly enough, many people in the media had Pluto square Sun when they had health issues suddenly come up - from Barbara Walters heart issue to Michael Douglas' throat cancer. I guess there's a possibility with the Pluto-Sun square to be transformed by a difficult personal issue from health to anything else. IP: Logged |

Hera I'm sorry to hear what you had to go through. Nobody deserves this. I understand how pain and feeling hurt can make someone feel like they're damaged and broken. You have every right to be angry. But please, don't be angry at yourself and don't beat yourself up over a situation you had no control over. Be kind and gentle with yourself and you inner child, and I know it is so easy to say this yet it is very difficult to reach. I really hope you'll find a way to be at peace with it, a way to lock up the bad thoughts and leave them behind IP: Logged |

Crabby, I love you! You are a wonderful soul! Thank you! It is wonderful to hear these words, I am trying to tell them to myself, that I am not to blame. I actually stood up for myself when I was old enough to fight him. He was 2-3-4 times my weight and size but I fought him with all I have (Mars-Pluto exact here). I do therapy and I joined a forum for abuse victims and it really helps to talk about it. In my house we never talked about it, though I think everybody knew of suspected. Talking about it makes it real and everyone wanted to forget it ever happened. Including myself - but forgetting is not the way out. I am GLAD I am experiencing this transit at this time. Especially combined with Uranus. I think it is quite likely that when the transit is exact I will drive to my hometown and confront them about this openly. Pluto gives me strength and Uranus makes me release all sort of inhibitions about this. I know it will be hell for them, but maybe they should acknowledge the fact that their actions had consequences that affected me for 29 years. IP: Logged |

Planet9, welcome to Lindaland btw! I loved your interp on James's chart. Do you want to practice on mine too? I am starting to not feel guilty and ashamed for what happened. It is not easy. Unfortunately, esp in incest cases, the child feels terribly guilty for a lot of reasons, and the abusers take advantage of this and encourage your guilt and your shame. My father is implying that I was a perverted little girl to begin with, that I sort of seduced him. I had to disown him (emotionally) to release the guilt. I don't hate myself, but I do hate my body for betraying me. I will get to forgiveness because I don't want to live trapped in negativity (for my sake, not theirs), but it is a slow process. Thank you for the kind words and encouragements! IP: Logged |

frankie2912,Transiting Pluto conjunct natal Sun is good, however, if your natal Sun is in aspect with other natal planets - then you need to know if the transiting Pluto is also making an aspect to those planets too. This way you will get a better view of what the transiting Pluto means to you. If you are willing to submit your birthdate, I can try and investigate your situation further - something similar to that with sweet-scorpion: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/003934.html slowpoke

Ueharaa Thank you!! I am a bit still angry at my body, but I want to stop ASAP because that is how you get cancer and I am DONE self-punishing me for this. I am thinking of starting self-defense classes and punch stuff, I think it would do me good. Have to put the anger someplace and preferably positive. Right now if I had 5 minutes in a room with him, I probably wouldn't stop until I draw blood or he'd stop breathing. And I have so much stuff to do with my life yet, cannot afford jail time. thank you all for your thoughts and for sharing your stories, even the darkest ones. that is what Pluto is doing..bringing up a lot of dark secrets and places that are hard to deal with, and after checking my past transits I've noticed that Pluto must have been working hard in my life for the past few years because they have been some crazy ones.slowpoke, thank you for offering to take a look at my tranits. my birthdate is December 29, 1986. since my Sun is conjunct my Neptune and Mercury and sextile my own Pluto, the transit must be affecting those things, too. i am also a heavily Plutonian person (Scorp ASC, Pluto in Scorp conj ASC, 8th house ruler conj Sun, Venus in Scorp conj ASC and trine Mars, etc etc) IP: Logged |
