I don't need a wealthy man. I am with a musician after all (not known for making tons of money lol) and his "day job" is less than 30k a year. I am also not opposed to working. I've worked from age 15 till now (34).

I don't get (or ask for) birthday or Christmas gifts, I don't wear jewelry, makeup, etc. nor do we have a house full of fancy things so I am not sure how that makes me materialistic. I buy damn near everything at Goodwill too.

But yes, I like my immediate needs taken care of & I like having a strong man to lean on because I tend to worry too much when I am the sole income provider.

On a side note, I was married to a man for seven years who had no job. He stayed with the kids while I worked. So I don't leave people if they can't find (or keep, in my ex-hubby's case) a job.

I'm not materialistic in the object sense coz I get bored with stuff fast then I don't care for them anymore and give them away. I'm also v v austere in aesthetic.

But I like money and the freedom it brings and overall what you can do with it. Not everything.. There is health, love, for everything else there's MasterCard!

Yes, I want money. Preferably a lot of money. But I want to earn it, not seduce and use a rich guy and so on. I wouldn't mind winning a lottery either

I don't care about people's cash but I do care about mine.

Us Cappy folk especially - we like to be self-reliant... we like the responsibility of maintaining our existence and don't shirk responsibilities when placed on us by others... it's our gift... handling these sort of things.. the stability of being in control of these things is what fuels us...

Tauro folks are extremely guarded with their wealth, and I've seen some of the women go to high extremes not to overindulge, and go all out in protecting their assets, having security is maybe most important to them... Also, Tauro-women are the only women besides maybe Libra (hello Venus) who take longer than I do to decide on which of an item to buy or to put it back.......... nuff said.

Virgo folks are inclined to suffer the most, out of the three, because no matter what they tend to put others first... their jobs, their children, their lovers, their families... even the extended family members... They always have a plan though... if there is a collapse in their funds they are the ones most ready to rebound... I suppose their gift is they have the most adaptability of the Earth signs with material/financial responsibilities... although in truth - I've seen some pretty snobby Virgos in my years... lol (but yeah I've met a lot of freaky Virgo women... XD and they're prolly not the norm..) Difference is they are the most willing to suffer, whereas Caps and Tauros are more inclined to prevent and dread that ever becoming a reality. ^^; IME

But, I don't like haughty displays of wealth, I don't like anyone to even know where I am financially.... (Aries 8h, Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio) I kinda hide my assetts and hold onto them, sometimes I forget I have things... lol I'm a tad secretive in things that concern material wealth --- I have to feel that my needs and the needs of my family are always going to be taken care of, even if that bad day were to come... I'm always ready for that rainy day.... like, bring it on, world! lol

But, materialism in the sense of having brand name items, of keeping up with the Joneses, being competitive in that world of "superficiality, and vanity"... no.... Earth signs appreciate quality, sure... quality over quantity 100% of the time. lol But, it isn't a part of us being materialistic... it's more like a byproduct of us being over-achievers. ^^; When you find a particularly rich, secure Capricorn you are looking at a man/woman who has earned each and every penny, and then some... guaranteed. And, that tends to put people off who don't understand that... they're not usually flaunting... they're simply showing the world at large that they've achieved their highest potential... ^^; (although there's more than a few pompous Earthians, out there.... sure.) lmao

Then again -you gotta look where your Earth is in the houses... and such...

My Sun is in 5h, Moon is in 9h, Mercury is in 4h... Virgo partly 12h/1h....

As long as my home is pristine, and there's plenty of space, and things look pleasant (I have Venus in Sadge 4h lol) and all our basic human needs are being met.... I have no further ambitions for material trappings...

Just get the bills paid, early preferably, and have food in the cupboard at all times... everything else is secondary...

You do have a lot of stuff, don't you? You're very good at knowing what you want, and going after it. If you like it, you want to own it. Not real big on sharing, though. People sometimes call you selfish, or greedy, but you figure you've earned what you have and they're just jealous or lazy. You enjoy the pleasures of the flesh, but for some reason have never really connected to anyone. Relationships are just too hard, people want too much. But heck, you can take care of yourself, you don't really need anyone, right?
