You know I find it strange how my attitude is considering my Cap Stellium (I have the Sun, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and North Node in Capricorn). Though I am moody, cold and driven, I am not conservative at all. I don't stick to any rules, and if there is a rule, I make it my job to break it. Similarly, I do all kinds of rebellious things such as drug taking.But maybe what is typical with a super cap is my inability to connect with anyone on a meaningful level. I've only had one relationship which lasted only a month. I've found relationships so far just don't work for me: there's no connection. IP: Logged |

@Muddy: Haha, it just shows that there's more to a chart than just one or two placements. The limitations and fears work for me, but the rest. Maybe you'll get a better interpretation from "sun in the 12th". Some of them do feel biased. That's hard to avoid, probably, but I don't have to like it. Just check all of these threads on LL about Capricorns. Some heavy Cap-influenced people in real life did really fit the stereotype (and hurt me bad because of it). But I try not to go into things thinking, "Anyone with major Cap and Aqua is going to treat me like dirt!". In those cases, the synastry was horrible. Uhm... it trines my Venus very loosely (10 degrees) but I feel it. I think so. Moon trine Mars and Mercury as well; sextile Pluto; opposition Midheaven and Chiron; square Ascendant and Descendant. It's a lot and a little of everything. Again, the creativity helps a lot (those three trines). You're on my T-list now.  Thanks for the message on my journal! Thanks for the bookmark. Hope you can check them out when you're back and comfortable again. I bet you're having so much fun with that never-ending input of new stories. Websites like that are made for fire signs. Aww, you look forward to stuff like that that much? Now I want to see that. Good of you to start thinking more about your life. The twelfth house will help you. It's perfect for self-reflection. With the Cap in your chart, you'll find a balance for both. <3 Please be careful not to get too carried away. You shouldn't kill all of your passion just to get the other extreme. Your moon wouldn't like that.  @Vradec: You do have Uranus as part of the stellium. What aspects does it make and in which house do you have it? And with that stellium you're taking the rulers of quite a few houses towards one. I'd check out which ones they are and see if you can relate to the rebelling this way. Sorry about the relationship trouble. Same here. It rarely goes anywhere. Your stellium is even bigger, so I'd say you're really serious about relationships. You wouldn't go for just anyone. I can't help but reply to this one.
I believe that YES the sun infuses people with the "inner intimate self" the basic way of being and living life. BUT! But I also believe that ASC and other personal planets placements are important too as well as the houses and the aspects between the planets in the Cap and the natal chart in general.
I am a CAP: Mercury at 1 degree CAP, Venus and SUN conjunct and 23/24°. And yes for many years, when reading the "horoscopes " and zodiacs online or in magazines I used to go "whoa Cap is a really bad sign to have".
That i not true.
CAP is represented in the zodiac as a goat with fish tail. Goats have a natural ability to climb mountains and almost vertical walls, it is their natural environment...For a typical goat.
The fish tail in this case illustrates very well that, as the goats of the zodiac, we have been "cursed": either the success in life, getting on the top of the mountain either preserving that sensitive fish tail. Perons with this sign have to work very very hard for success and even harder for love.You can never be a goat and go up high and never completely preserve the fish tail intact and sensitive.
Because in order to get to the top of the mountain its natural habitat, the goat has to trail that fish tail on rocks. It gets hurt and in the end it hardens and it gets corny.
I have never encountered a Cap that has had a normal life. The persons born in this sign are divided in two categories.
1.The ones that have a bad family life and absent parents, growing up with a heart eager for love, fear of rejection and therefore ending up being hurt in love relationships because of these patterns. Not only the person in this case has to do a tremendous work on himself to get over the wrong "unrequitted love" patterns and learn to love themselves in order to get real love and friendships. But he has to work hard to get things that for others are just normal. Career included.
2.Or, if the Cap has had "normal" loving parents (which I can assure you based on the statistics is very rare) ...Well the fish tail prevails and then the goat can never climb the mountain. It would hurt the tail too much. So this category gives Caps very tied to their mothers, not in the healthy way. The result is a stubborn, inflexible person with "cancerine" addictions to the home nest.
These are only guide lines.. Because you have to see the big chart.
I, as I said am a Mercury/SUN/VENUS Cap.(10th house) But I am also a Aries ASC, Aries Moon (12th house) Leo MARS and Leo Saturn. Gemini Jupiter.
I am not all about work and growing my business or wealth. What does my Cap stellium give me?
My Cap Sun gives me the ability to detach and analyze.
I am not aloof, unless I have already given all that I could give. If I do get hurt I can arrive to the point where I do get detached and aloof, but I can not thank the heavens enough for this gift. Because if it wasn't for this ability of mine, I would be in a sanatory by now.
This Sun also gives the abitlity to isolate myself without difficulty and take the time to solve the problem and individuate solutions.
Sun in Capricorn also gives me great capacity to grind and never give up. If I put something on my mind I will get there, there's no doubt about that.
My Cap Mercury coldly disects the problem, thinks of all the possible ways to confront and solve it. Venus Cap conjunct Sun ...it is all about "bread underneath the snow" :P And it gave me the opportunity to have great aesthetic sense. I have created an image consulting blog which grew into a beautiful successful image consulting company.
Do all Capricorns have these traits? Maybe. Yes. Fundamentally. To a certain extent, and the strength of these traits and how they keep them in balance it all depends on their other planets, where are they, in which houses and how are they aspected.
Personal planets placements and aspects between them are very important. Moon and ASC in the first place.
Because the characteristics I exposed above are only my intimate private self, the way I deal with problems and work my way through situations.
I am also passionate, impulsive, a bit touchy. Very very emotional. My emotions tend to overwhelm me, the bad ones and the good ones.
I am also very intuitive and read people easily, I can see right through them.
I do have a great thirst to know, read, learn and I have a enormous imagination.
Are all Caps I know like me? No. They have their Sun or Cap stellium aspected in other ways than mine and different houses placements. SO they will have another emotional life, way to react or to interact.
Ughh ...I did write a lot :P
It's only that Cap it is the most complex and at the same time the most "penalized" of all signs. Want to be on the top? Hurt and break your tail. Wanna be loved? Stay beneath others.
It is not fair and I am the living proof that it doesn't have to be this way. :-))

I love this thread! Such funny/interesting observations. I'm glad it got bumped.I'm also a cap stellium. 6 planets in the 5th and 6th house. I do have some strong cappy traits in my personality (ambition, hard work, born old), but I also have an air sun, water moon and fire asc to balance it out. I get along great with other cap stelliums. And cap suns, for that matter. They're extremely loyal, have great work ethic, and they totally get my ambitions. They're also great to compete against, if you enjoy that kind of stuff. Just beware, they don't intend to loose... And they are sore losers when they do.  But compete and win against them once and they will always respect you. After that you can just make sure to always team up with them. With them on your team, chances are you will win. IP: Logged |
