I'm like so terrified of Neptunian illusions, so I check out if Neptune is anyhow involved. Then I will check for Pluto because it shows intensity and sexual chemistry, the same goes for Mars, and then I'll check the Nodes because I've noticed almost any guy that I get heavily attracted to, has his lights on my nodes, or vice versa.IP: Logged |

I'm not well versed on nodes, so no, I don't. The best double whammies...? They're all really good! I think the aspects involved would be more important. If it's balanced, ex. one square, one sextile, then it'd probably be better than two squares or two trines, etc.Relationship planets might be interesting too: Mars, Moon, Venus, S-turn. Personal planets to outers are pretty intense. IP: Logged |

Oh no, I'm not married yet, I'm only 22 yo, but I strongly believe that when I get married, nodes will be for sure in the synastry. I've also noticed that when nodes are involved, you cant let go of the other person. Even if you havent seen him/her for like 2 years, and you didnt even really had a proper relationship in the beggining, you're gonna come back. At least this keeps happening to me. I like double whammies too, so far I think one that is very very nice and hot and all about chemistry is Sun sextile/trine Mars IP: Logged |

Ohhhh that sounds hot. Definitely able to get active and invoke responses with one another. I had a Mercury opposite/opposite Venus before and that was a really intimate and compassionate relationship. IP: Logged |

something on the nodes (imo their importance cannot be overstated; after all they are a reflection of a relationship between Sun, Moon and Earth in a natal chart) http://theinnerwheel.com/2011/02/08/soul-points-in-synastry-the-vertex-versus-the-nodes-part-two/ http://www.astrologywithdonnalyn.com/articles/tyl_nodes.html http://www.themetaarts.com/2006june/basilfearington.html http://www.themetaarts.com/archives/200308/basilfearington.html http://www.themetaarts.com/archives/200309/basilfearington.html IP: Logged |

Great question!Well, I'm not lost anymore when it comes to.. what/where/how/why I can clearly tell you, I look at *chiron* and *saturn* first combined with planetary geometry between the charts. The one and only way of looking that gave me truly satisfying answers as to WHY this one? WHY this connection for soo sooo many years.. I get it. I look in Geo + Helio. IP: Logged |

how do you read this chart then? when it comes to vertex and other planets i am not sure.are the nodes conjunct? i read that for nodes it has to be a tight orb of maximum 1.5 degree for it to work thanks for any input IP: Logged |

First thing I look for is where are the moons, then Venus, then Mars, then Merc, then Saturn, then Sun, then Neptune, then Asc, then houses. Ill try to make out all the aspects I can by the chart first, then I'll go look at the aspect grid.------------------ Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus Virgo Mars Virgo Asc And yes, I'm a guy! - Angles connections (cardinal houses are more powerful than others, by definition, so look at planets that fall into the 1-7H and 4-10H. It's even more powerful if there's an actual conjunction to the angle/cusp)- Nodes connections (I'd rather have North Node conjunctions) - Luminaries (Sun & Moon) for basic compatibility (needs, expression of the ego) - Houses overlays (again, cardinal houses are powerful, 5th and 8th can add some sparks also. Depends on the natal preferences, for ex. Uranian people may enjoy 11th house connections, etc) Venus/Mars/Pluto for the chemistry/sexual compatibility And of course Saturn for longevity, responsibility and possible restrictions/lessons to be learned * That chart looks pretty good, astrolog! Whoa the person who's the inner chart must be sooo smitten.. But it seems to be going both ways. Gotta be a powerful connection! Is it a crush or a partner??

I start by looking at the house overlays (1st, 5th, 7th...possibly 8th and aspects to their rulers. Definitely look for contacts to the nodes (they say any contact to the nodes are significant, but conjunctions and squares are the best). Conjunctions to the angles, vertex aspects, for a sense of fatedness, pluto contacts for intensity, with some good saturn aspects for longevity. DW's definitely important as well..IP: Logged |
