One time a person who kept on asking me out was In my class and I said my single mother is dying I have to take care of my many siblings. She thought that was even more romantic and offered to help. I never would text her back hahaha.

It depends on how I feel about rejecting them...If I feel bad for whatever reason, I'll usually pretend that I don't speak English (the benefits of being bilingual... )

If I don't feel bad about it (i.e., he's a douchebag), I'll be blunt and just tell them to p*ss off!

I pretty much just do what you do, Kero. I mean I try to be their friends and be nice (Venus) but they just persist and I just ignore their attempts to flirt. I guess, in a way, I lead them on but it is really hard to just say 'back off' especially if they're really sweet. If they're disgusting and rude I will be blunt and vulgar or be a tease and play mind games.

No one's ever hit on me outside of a club or other really loud venue, though, so to the current time, I've never had that not work... hahaha

It is soooo hard for me to work up the courage to tell someone I don't see "us" working out. I evade being direct about my feelings at all costs because I don't want to disappoint someone else...I always feel so bad/guilty for letting another person down! Typically I'll just avoid phone calls and texts until someone gets the picture, or I'll be vague and flakey to the point of making someone frustrated enough to give up.

My moon is in Cancer...in 4H...so that's probably making me super sensitive to hurting the feelings of others. On top of that I've also got Venus and Mars in water signs, so their energy is completely diluted. The one thing I have going for me is my Sag stellium with Mercury in there, meaning once I work up the gumption to tell someone I'm not into it, I can do it bluntly and without any equivocation.

Easy enough, and largely truthful. Also, it totally evades the whole "I've only known you for 5 minutes and you've already put half of my brain to sleep, so why on Earth would I want to spend a whole evening with you???" issue which is usually the primary reason why I am not interested.

If it's someone I'm acquainted with, I ignore them at all costs. If I cannot do that, I just tell them I'm not interested and cut off all contact, especially if they're annoying. The worst is when they don't take no for an answer, or convince themselves that you actually do like them, even though you say you don't...

That is why I feel the need to make it clear I am not interested in a person, even if I have to be a little blunt and/or mean after the first no. Some people mistake a simple no for "oh she must be playing hard to get" no, I am really not interested.

Hahaha. Yeah. I'm not that nice. I just sit them down and turn them down respectfully. They will love me even more. Esp. because I hold their hands while I do it.
