I'm sure he knows deep down I still do love him as a human being. He is only one of two romantic partners that have ever affected me that way (and I'm mid 30s). It's been more than 2 years since I've even seen his face but I'd drop just about everything if he ever needed a friend. That's all we are now & that's fine.

I never felt used or like a door mat at all. I treated his mental illness just like I would treat a partner with diabetes or any other chronic health issue. Why would I leave him for something he needed help with?

I feel the same about my current partner. Even if he has bad times, I'm here. Unless he abuses me, I plan on staying with this man until one of us passes on to the next realm. And the sad thing is that I love him so dearly that I have considered how I might feel when he's gone (because he's older) and I wept... I actually cried thinking about being an old woman without him. He's my best friend.

[/B]

Regd. the last para, I feel that way too....especially since men tend to go faster than women, especially in my experience.

It has nothing to do with exploiting yourself, futile self-sacrificing or becoming a door-mat, etc. To be able to love someone unconditionally, in the truest sense of the word, one must have mastered the art of loving himself, first.Thats when ego goes out of the equation...He stops TOLERATING people, and starts ACCEPTING people as they are...And that gives rise to Unconditional love.

Hence, this is far from being an unhealthy concept...it is healing, rather.

My two cents

This is spot on!

Good idea! We are my favorite, too. Or you could settle for plain old Neptunian if you can catch one that is, lol.

yes, sunshine
a Pisces Rising here with Sun in Virgo on my DSC. Nodes are also Pisces/Virgo along my Angles. And Neptune, the chart ruler , is doing a load of numbers in my chart.

You are also a Virgo, no? I like your astro deductions a lot!

Interesting. So are you Pisces NN or S? In first house? Neptune makes a strong aspect in my chart so I know what you mean about that!

You have a lot of the same kinds of duality in your chart I have in mine, somewhat. Yours seems a bit more prominent though. You balance it well! Pisces ascendant seems to be really good at communication though, so it helps, most likely, rather than harms.

Sun in Virgo like you btw. Almost forgot to answer, lol.

When I typed Neptunian I didn't mean Pisces as much as people with a heavily aspected Neptune. I call Pisces Pisces and people with strong Neptune Neptunians because some Pisceans will go and act Jupitarian more than Neptunian depending on the individual Pisces.

That's not who I meant, lol. Pisces can go either way, Neptunian or more Jupiter. Still a great idea though!

Seems like people who have a busy Neptune are really subtle, refined and elusive so might be difficult to actually catch one.

Venus/Neptune and Venus in Pisces together here.

Neptunians (people with busy Neptune in their charts over here.)

and the third category Pisces, that can be in either one of the above or in neither, lol, enter Jupiter.

Question becomes, can the Venus/Neptune and Venus in Pisces people also be Neptunians?

Stay tuned for the conclusion of tonight's episode...

okay, girly,
I've been fishing for a Venus in Pisces lately here on Lindaland to learn more about this placement. The object of my interest has a Venus in Pisces which trines Neptune tightly and also opposites his Pluto and squares his Moon.
Please, tell me the secrets of Venus in Pisces trining Neptune. Whatcha all about?

also, what degree is your Venus? Is it conjuncting my early degree Pisces ASC?

What I have is Venus trine Neptune. I reread what I typed, it does sound misleading, like I am saying I have Venus in Pisces trine Neptune. Sorry about that! What I meant is, Venus/Neptune, Venus in Pisces people in one category. I feel kinda awkward now.

I do know about Venus trine Neptune, I like to be surrounded by nice people and want whomever I am with to be easy going. Then again, I have Libra ascending too. Seems like Venus in Pisces trine Neptune would be similar. They would want people who are gonna be nice above all else. You seem like that type though so you should get along with one splendidly. Also send lots of love and value the one with Venus in Pisces because they can attract people who do not give them the love they deserve and people could take them for granted or push them around so always make them feel appreciated
That's my advice.

This is why I like Pisces ascendants, I feel more relaxed than I do with people who's planets are in my descendant for some reason.
I am in the Pisces rising's descendant. I would rather be here.

well, your chart ruler, Venus, is trining Neptune, so that's why you like and feel comfy with Pisces/ or Neptunian people.

My Venus is in Libra, so it connects well with your ASC in Libra.

I'll explain it a bit more, I have natally Venus square Pluto, so love comes together with mind games, trying to be in control etc The moment I go crazy about someone, Pluto is there to remind me that being in power and control and appearing tough to the other person. So my feelings are never "pure" if you get what I mean, and I think people with venus/pluto will agree on that.
So which placements make for yhe opposite as described perfectly above from Straight Smile ?I was thinking about Venus in Pisces and Venus well aspected to Neptune maybe?!?

I used to be the same way. I have venus in scorpio, so I know where youīre coming from.
I think that pluto has the power to transform your venus and give it a higher expression where you will be able to love unconditionally, but it takes alot of work and maturity.

As I always say, I donīt think astrological placements are set in stone, and especially with a sign like scorpio or the planet pluto there is potential to transform into something completely different than what you started out as.

Unconditional love is a natural feeling in all of us as babies, but it gets lost along the way as we learn that love has conditions. Pluto is especially vulnerable to this because it has sensitivity and is naturally focused on the darker aspects of human nature. Pluto will be obsessed with his and others loss of innocence/unconditional love, and if not careful, can forget its true nature and become a cynic. But being obsessive it wonīt give up the search (The OP with a plutonic venus asking these kinds of existential questions is an example) until it finds the answer. It is looking for itīs lost ability to love unconditionally and wonīt be satisfied untill itīs found again. And I donīt think any other placement will either, for that matter, because any other state than unconditional love means some form of (mild) suffering.
