I've been thinking about the influence planets and Houses have on appeal and attraction. Got me wondering about their influence on repulsion and disgust. More specifically, it got me thinking about weird stuff that personally gives me the creeps.I don't mean phobias, or stuff that evokes fear or an animal-like panic response either. Just seemingly benign stuff that's really unsettling for no obvious reason whatsoever. Stuff that flat out makes your skin crawl. My two big ones are: 1) Being sandwiched between two (or more) mirrors. 2) Sleeping with the closet door open. Both are incredibly silly. And I can't recall any past experience that should give either any sort of personal significance one way or the other. That said, they still give me the serious heebie-jeebies. If anyone else is comfortable sharing, I'd kinda like to hear what creeps you out and how you think it might relate to your chart. Again, not phobias or things that any reasonably well-adjusted person would be bothered by (child predators, for example) or even weird stuff that you have a personal reason to be bothered by. (Like being disgusted by lap dogs because your grandma's ate her face before anyone found the body.) Just random stuff that you find incredibly unsettling for seemingly no good reason. Thanks. One thing that really bothers me...sleeping without any covers or blankets. I can't do it. I need to have a blanket or I cannot sleep unless I am at a movie theater, then I can fall asleep so long as I am wearing long sleeves, a cardigan, hoodie, coat or jacket. What causes this in my natal chart? When I am not sure I just respond, "moon opposite Neptune" because it signifies confunsion...er confusion, rather. IP: Logged |

Hey there, this is fun! Thanks for posting!I had a similar creepy feeling about mirrors when I was younger too. Not the sandwiched between them but just mirrors in general. Though, that was later justified by even creepier experiences that makes me think "okay yeah, that's why I had a weird vibe!" heh I think I get creeped out by just being in the dark because my North Node is in the 12th House and I have ALWAYS feared the dark. To a silly degree, seriously. They say your North Node is what you must face and Pisces 12th House is the dark. Where you cease using your eyes (energy producing) and must use your ears (energy intake). Instead of my Virgo South Node of "Oh, I'm seeing all the logical details and marking them down on my list." I move toward my North Node and go "Okay, I have no details, I have no logic! Help! I'm in the dark and I'm hearing all the scary unknown noises!" haha IP: Logged |

Clowns. I am not scared, it's not a phobia, but they seem like the creepiest people. Ronald McDonald included... *shivers*IP: Logged |

Hey, thanks for responding. Sometimes an individual mirror will creep me out -- like an old one hanging by itself in an unfurnished room -- but that's usually on par with that feeling of "being watched." For me, it's creepy, but I can shake it off. Add a few more on the other hand... IP: Logged |

I am creeped out by demons. Even talking about it in broad daylight makes my hair stand. I'm okay with ghosts and other paranormal stuff but demons? No. Not after I saw pictures of the real Anneliese Michel. I think it traumatized me. O.OWhat may indicate this in my chart? I'd say 8th/9th/12th house activity? Saturn is in my 8th, Moon in the 9th. However, most planets aspecting these two are either sextiles or trines, except for the moon, which is opposed by Jupiter and squared by mercury. No planets in my 12th, but ruler venus is in the 4th. The 12th is also where the 'empty leg' of my t-square resides. Since all H2o houses are involved, maybe that could be a reason. Plus, hard aspects to the moon in the 9th house of spirituality/religion. Other than that, I really have no idea IP: Logged |

Oh yep, that "I'm being watched" feeling never fades when a mirror is in the room with me. I never really knew why they gave me that feeling until I was living in a tiny set of apartments. There were 5 single stories flats in a row. The neighbor had his mother pass and so he decided to end his life too. A couple months after it happened, I would be doing my makeup in the mirror and I would see someone walk behind me, as if they were going into my bedroom. The first time it happened, I followed and nothing was there. Every time after that, I just assumed he was walking through my apartment to get to his apartment. If that can happen, why can't other people just watch, instead of show themselves? Hm. . . IP: Logged |

Oh that's interesting! I've always felt like powerful beings could look scary but might not be bad. Still, I think it would shock ANYONE to be confronted with something far different looking but still humanoid in shape. It just doesn't sit right with our mind to see something look so human but so. . .not. IP: Logged |

I know, right? Also, in most of my experiences, I always feel a heavy atmosphere around me when talking about it to someone. It's a psychological effect probably, but it still feels so creepy. :/

I don't like the sensation of being confined in all its meanings. You try to physically hold me back, I will injure you and if you try verbally or mentally hold me back, I will apply other techniques.Sun, Moon, Mercury sq. Pluto pPluto in 1st house trine pSun. If you leave me be me, I will love and adore you until the end of time. IP: Logged |

Stepping into a place and feeling one is not alone, a sort of quiet watchfulness hangs over the area.Rooms lit be black candles only. People who just watch even in the most social of situations, try to engage them in conversation and they are as creepy and crazy as you thought they would be. Guys who stare at women as if there was one glass of water on the planet and she has it. Dudes who out of the blue strike up conversations about penises then proceed to tell you how gay they are..or not are..they swear.. Goodness, another ultra creepy thing..guys who abuse women then blame it on the women or some bizarre circumstance "yeah, it was unfortunate that I was clearing weeds then hit her sister in the head with a shovel, then turned around and hit my GF with the same shovel.." Uhm..yeah. That eerie feeling when you meet someone and can just tell they have a dark dark soul and they want to be your friend. And people who do you entirely too many favors with not logical reason for doing so..and looking out a dark window at night and half expecting to see some face pop into view IP: Logged |

True story: I had a Ukrainian religious studies teacher back in junior high (<-- former Catholic School Boy) who had my entire class write letters to her family. All and all we got out of at least 3 weeks of actual work just talking about it. IP: Logged |

You're intriguing me too much, I hate it AND love it! I'm gonna turn this into a paranormal thread on accident or something. I wonder why you would get such a heavy feeling whenever discussing it. I've felt that before but it wasn't when talking about demons. My mother was telling me that she experiences something touch her when she's in bed. She spoke to me about it in my room and it's like the room felt "heavy" or the air was thick afterward. It was very unsettling! IP: Logged |

Yeah, I'm currently thinking it must be a North Node/South Node thing. Either something that reminds you of what you have to do next, or something that reminds you of what you've failed to do before. IP: Logged |

What house is your North Node? Do you have any irrational fear attached to it's meaning? IP: Logged |

Ha. You suddenly remind me that that same teacher also taught us sex-ed/catholic sexual morality that same year. Thanks a lot quote: What house is your North Node? Do you have any irrational fear attached to it's meaning?
Cancer in the 4th House. Not sure about weird fears associated with it just yet though. IP: Logged |
