I have a problem I forgive people way too easily.I actually have avoid them if they really f'ed me over.
Although I don't feel anger towards them.
I guess that's the trust but if they did it once than why not again?

I didn't really think of it that way, but I think you're right. You know, I need to learn how to lwt go and let loose in general. I have too much pent up energy for my own good hahaha

Yes.I think like that too although I would tend to hold onto the hurt for some time at least as long as it takes for me to digest the slight and to handle the hurt as best as I can. So if the person decides to ask for forgiveness during this recovery period when the hurt is still raw and open I probably won't forgive the person. IP: Logged |

Forgiveness can take time.I don't expect myself or others to forgive someone in a short period of time. Some wounds take time to heal, and you have to feel ready to forgive someone. I don't think you can force that process, but "preparing" for it, helps - focusing on the big picture, letting go of negative connotations, and so on. One thing's for sure though, when you genuinely forgive, you feel lighter.

in my case, I dont really feel much hurt once i process it and come to the realization that a paricular person tried intentionally to bellitle me and cause pain, unprovokedly so.
