Oh dear... can of worms. This is not a quick or easy answer. 1. I haven't eaten any fast food in 7 years (8 years this October... I feel like a recovering alcoholic keeping track like this lol!). 2. I eat primarily vegan or vegetarian meals and always natural if not organic. I will eat a pile of carne asada tacos from my local Mexican restaurant maybe 2-3 times a month, but I don't eat meat every day, sometimes not even once a week. Obviously, I am not strict enough to say I am "vegetarian" or "vegan", but my diet is closest to that. 3. I switched to all natural and even use homemade recipes for skin care. I also gave up the makeup (except for my eyeliner!). The result is that my adult acne went away completely. 4. I had to give up gluten a few years ago due to finding out I have Celiac disease. As a result, many of my long-term health conditions did clear up and I think the stress of dealing with all of that went away. 5. I lost approx. 60 pounds. There is something about that experience that makes you FEEL lighter and youthful and I think it radiates out. The only "thing" that makes me look older is that mole on my face. I don't think you can tell in the photo, but it has a hair that pokes out and makes me look like a scary old witch in the wrong type of lighting when I forget to pluck it. And when I'm grumpy... so much worse!! LOL!! Oh and I have some loose skin issues from losing so much weight so I need to start a light weight training and/or yoga routine to firm up now. ------------------

Wow! Very nice!! I also 'quit' fast food, but I still cheat once in a blue, oops -- yes, yes! I much prefer fresh natural Mexican tacos myself, but I only eat chicken - not a fan of red meat, or any other type. I also don't wear make up (except some blush, mascara, and a bit of undereye cream) seriously when I started wearing make up for the first time (I was around 22-23) I aged quickly! I used to look younger than my age until I started doing that. Now I regret it, but I quit make up. I look in my 30's now and I'm only turning 27 -_-. I lost 22 pounds in a year, so I guess I am on the right track. Hopefully -crosses fingers- =) jkThanks for sharing your secrets <3. I was jk, but this is awesome I hope I look as young as you when I get older. Love your eyes ^_^ quote: Originally posted by Geeky: Oh dear... can of worms. This is not a quick or easy answer. 1. You're welcome =). And congratulations on losing so much weight, wow. I don't think I'm able to do that. I really need to start going to the gym. I need 20-25 more pounds to lose myself. I'm still amazed at how young you look for your age, heh.IP: Logged |

Thanks, guys (I wanted to answer everyone individually, but it's summer and the kids have been staying inside because of the code orange-red air quality so our house is trashed...no rest for the wicked.) Edit-o-rama. IP: Logged |

Mockingbird...I love the way that they are looking at each other. It shows so much love...now blow that picture up and have it framed & hung in the most conspicuous spot so when they become teenagers getting ready to kill each other, it will be a sweet reminder. IP: Logged |

Naw, they're far enough apart (9 years and 1 year) that I don't think it'll be a huge problem. I'm 7 years older than my youngest brother (also a Cancer) and the relationship was one more of benign, omnipotent neglect than anything else It'll be fun to see how the relationship between the 3 sisters evolves, though. In order of age: - 9h Taurus Sun, Moon/Venus/Mars Gemini Stellium in the 11th, Leo Asc, Aries Merc (and boy do those last two show) - 6h Taurus Sun, 3h Moon/Mars/Uranus/NN Pisces Stellium, Saggie Asc w/ 1st House Jupiter, Gemini Merc - 10h Cancer Sun, 6h Pisces Moon conj Neptune (like her Daddy - Saggie Moon conj Neptune), Virgo Asc w/ 1st House Mars (that /shows/ - sturdy, that one), Leo Merc Things should at least stay interesting.
