Uh... Ami, If I send you a Facebook message with my chart do you suppose you could give me some insight (into whatever)?

I'm sure that you get asked all the time, and like lalalinda, I don't like to post my chart so much...although I suppose any neurotic tendencies I have already show in my personality, ha.

If not, that's totally understandable. I've just never really got into the psychological aspects of astrology, and I'm curious!

Also, I would like to better understand how to deal with my T-squares and oppositions...

To anyone who identifies with the BPD traits, I have made a thread in Sweet peas. I would like to know how it feels, like behind your eyes.
It would mean a lot to me if you would write on it and give me your experience.

I have thought the same about my mom, and I know that she had some questionable experiences as a child. She talks about it once in a blue moon, but then denies it or minimizes it at other times. I'm going to look at her chart with the points mentioned and see if any of it fits.

So far, I don't think I have any of the aspects mentioned, but I have had traumatic experiences in life, and I wonder what points to that.

Wow. I know quite a few people (family and friends) who grew up in very abusive/dysfunctional homes, and the points are very accurate in their charts.

One relative of mine who demonstrates BPD characteristics the most has that in her chart, although the conjunction is loose and in different signs.

A few others have the fractured child aspect. Also in loose conjunction and different signs, which I find interesting.

Amazing thread, Ami. Thanks.

re: Chiron square Venus

This is an a heartbreaking aspect that for some reason doesn't realize it's sterling worth until time has passed.
It's done in the name of love and misguided loyality. With this aspect a lot of time is spent doing (trying to) the right thing,
even when it costs a little bit of our soul.

I recently realized a mistake I made that completely altered my adult life because I refused to listen to someone who loved me.
In hindsight it is so clear and quite painful because time is something you can never get back. The decision I made was based on my misguided belief that it is easier for me to just endure the pain and dissappointment rather than believe the reality/truth about someone I unconditionally loved. (H2&5)

Chiron is the great teacher, he taught the best of the best but was ubable to heal himself from his physical pain. He was greatly loved and respected. Being a centaur he had noble Sagitarian qualities that embody the fire signs the most noble imo is the courage to stand up against the odds for truth.

We are motivated to do this because the truth is important. We don't lie to ourselves (this can be modified) we know exactly what we've done in the past and just because we didn't get caught or others don't know about it tells us that we are nobody to judge another and to do that would make us hypocrites. Our truth about ourselves is the crux of of why we judge ourselves so critically.
In the end, trying to live up to our own standards we sacrifice ourself for those we love and it's not unusual for it not to be intimate/romantic, a lot of times it's family related or a strong belief in something (like a cause) (see house 1 and 3)

In all fairness my Venus/Chiron square is part of a Grand Square with Pluto and Jupiter (my chart ruler) Houses 2,5,9, and 12. This has in a sense partially ruled my life because it is also the hand I was dealt with in life and the way I have overcome or mastered this Karma.

I'm quite confident I won't be repeating this lesson in my next life.

sending out a heartfelt hug to those who share this aspect and I am very interested in how you handle this.

Interesting. I never really looked into it.

My Chiron has no aspects.

It is 1.44 degress Taurus, 8th house, retrograde. I have not a clue what that might mean.

EDIT: Ohhhhh! I just found an interpretation. That's not pleasant!

Dear Lala

As I have chiron square Venus natally, I also have it in synastry. I perhaps have chosen this theme for myself, I wonder why?

Is there anything I could learn from your experience?

You have to add the aspect lines on AStro.com, Tony. Do this and see what happens, Friend.

Hello Newrise! Welcome to LL

So much of this square depends on the houses/signs that Chiron and Venus sit.

also are they involved in a configuration and does any of this connect to the Ascendant or Ascendant ruler?
This is important to pinpoint where these issues begin.

How to deal with it? This is a sensitive aspect so give yourself some credit and quit putting yourself second, you are worth it, why beat yourself up over guilt, we all make mistakes but thats how we learn, when this happens fix it and then forgive yourself and move on.

with synastry, relationships are give and take and you should not be giving more than your partner otherwise you are setting yourself up to become a doormat, this never works. Instead of asking yourself if you are worthy of their love, you should be asking yourself if they are worthy of yours?

That is one man's experience doing charts.
