Actually it's not............... You'd think with this being a public forum that you people would be more sensitive and watch what they say. I'm done with all of this I'm not dealing with or putting up with disgusting and just plain disrespectful people. Religion should have NEVER been brought up here ever.

That's not nice.
You don't have to believe what she believes, but don't criticize her for it either.

As far as I know Yahweh doesn't like when his worshippers engage in divination. Have something changed recently? Besides, it's hard to avoid the subject of religion on a website like this. You should know that.

Mercurian, I just stated a fact. Unfortunately.

It probably "can" be proven but as of now it isnt(unless some aliens in a diffrent part of the universe has done it.) but it is logical i mean if you think about how the moon affect the tides, then it makes allot of sense that it affects other things as well, and that other calestial bodies does also.

but i think the reason society does not belive in astrology has allot to do with how it's portrayed and lack of knowlege about it.

annother factor is that people generally find it hard to belive something significant unless it has some sort of obvious scientific backing.

I don't worship a Yahweh. I'm not committing any sin besides the evil thought running in my head that I'm letting remain there because I'm better than that. I'm simply feeding the brain of mine with information on things that interest me. I don't take astrology as seriously as some of people who do. I know where I come and what I am and I'm proud of it.

The Moon affects the tides by gravity.
That doesn't prove Astrology.
Although I obviously believe it's true, but as of now, we have not figured out a way to scientifically prove it.

Really? What about religions that claim to have all the answers? This is pretty damn significant, even if false

I have reviewed where this thread went the way of un-moderate. I see Barbie got extremely EXCLAMATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! and QUESTION MARKS ???????????? excited because someone mentioned "creationism" and then Barbie said no one should bring up religion on this site EVER. Then there were a few more posts where people were very careful to stick to the topic, then another post by Barbie where, for reasons unknown, she brought up religion again.

Then came the argument, someone laughed at something Barbie said, and then Barbie called the group disgusting and began hurling personal insults.

k, so that's why I'm here....
to remind people that we can't do that here at Lindaland.
to remind everyone to take a few deeeeeep breaths and to pray for peace of mind or meditate for peace of mind... or whatever helps us to achieve peace of mind and kindness to our brothers and sisters, regardless of differing viewpoints.

If that doesn't work, I run and tattle to the man who pays the bills and makes the rules.

Group BREATHE. (We all get excited from time to time...)

Group WWLD (What Would Linda DO)

You can look at it in different ways, the Moon controls the water within us, which effects our instinctive animal caring side.

The Sun controls our heart and blood, which provides warmth. (expression)

Go read a Bible! It'll really open your eyes and clear your pretty foggy brain.

I recommend you to follow your own advice. Your god is commonly known as Yahweh/Jehovah/I am that I am/...

PlutoFish, it seems you don't agree with the Christian God, which is okay, I don't think anyone should. Religions are very old and as times change, so should beliefs. I believe in a God because there being a God answers questions we can't answer ourselves, right now.

-How did everything come to exist?

If God exists and God is all powerful, then there exists the answer. I believe God is undefinable, in a way, too. I believe that God exists outside of our dimension/existence.

God is eternal and all powerful and all knowing and omnipresent and God can be all this and more because God isn't bound by rules and laws like us. God exists outside of everything and yet even trying to explain God is wrong, because words limit God. Saying that God is something means that God can't be the opposite, which is wrong - God is everything, and nothing, and both, and neither...see the problem? (This the concept of Eris in astrology, btw: eternal paradoxes).

You're right to think religions have flaws, but so too does astrology as we can't prove it yet, and problems arise because we are beings who think critically in an existence where nothing can truly be known.

If God is that which you said, and i could beleieve that, then i think it is an offence to god to have Christianity symbolizing him.
Christians are ***** , they ****** the planet, the killed pagians, they ruined the tribes people and they supported the roman crusade which began the poverty

You leave me alone I'm not talking to you nor do I want to talk to you. Obviously we think differently and feel differently about that subject so leave me alone about it. This whole thing here is just ridiculous.
