I think everyone is fine. Sometimes it takes a while to catch up to all of the posts.I think society doesn't accept astrology for many of the reasons we've been discussing. People determine their beliefs and then close their minds to anything different. Some keep their mind a little bit open, but then are turned off by the approach of the "opposite" side. Students of astrology understand how much of the opposite sign is actually present in the other and strive to embrace "the shadow side" that is there, but goes unacknowledged for whatever psychological and sociological reasons. In situations like these I remember the Zen rice bowl. If you rice bowl is FULL, nothing more can go into it. If we are to Learn The Truth... our mind must be as an empty rice bowl. People don't accept astrology because their rice bowls are full. *Granted... some have smaller bowls in the first place IP: Logged |
