This annoys me, as a Sagittarius Moon 1st, i see Astrology as divine truth and the truth of our cosmic & consciousness origins.

But society won't have this, it's barely accepted as a true mathematical science, and only just makes it as that in the Vedic System

If it was up to me we would be born with our Birth charts and assigned to complete the journey as you are ment to

Or its just coincidence that we are effected, though i don't believe that

But everyone thinks different, whats your opinion?

In other word, it tells we want use astrology for success our life as we use light for going on dark roads. Because we don't know our future, astrology is one of metaphysical subjects which tell about our future. So astrology can be categorized as science of spiritual, psychological, applied & physical which tells our strengths & weaknesses according to our past life's karmic forces. Astrology uses Birth Time, Birth Date & Birth Place (Country and Town) for calculation of our birth chart from advanced mathematic formula. Birth time is normally considered as first breathing time or first crying time of newborn baby. Astrology varies with countries, cultures, religions and customs. But root concepts are same everywhere. Influences from birth chart mean our negative karma & also as modern science those are planet's radiations, which can overcome from our mind power, freewill or persistence. Planets & Stars play the important role"

A few reasons...

1. People are usually skeptical of things they don't discover on their own, and not many people are into spiritual or metaphysical things such as astrology or even ghosts in the first place.

2. Astrology takes work and learning. Newspaper astrology is okay because it's easy, just your birth date, but learning your chart takes a lot time just to get the fundamentals down.

True .. but religion has no proof apart from another persons word

Astrology can be proven scientifically & psychologically ..

I agree. Astrology can't be scientifically proven. Maybe it will be in the future, who knows.

If astrology could be proven it would be taught in schools.
but it still requires faith.

Astrology is like astronomy in many ways but astronomers observe the stars not make predications based on human life etc.
Astrologers and astro theorists have a lot in common.

Also, astrology is kind of ish based on astronomy, the constellations. So thousands of years ago, when astrology started, if I'm correct, the constellations were in slightly different places in the sky. Also some of the planets hadn't been discovered yet. As well as people believed, like, that everything revolved around the earth, too. :P

Also, I think the 1960s and 70s damaged the credibility of astrology some, especially to the totally science-minded people.

Personally, I think astrology is probably the most advanced study of human character that exists. Probably why Carl Jung liked it.

Astrology isn't accepted or cared for as much because people just don't believe the stars, moon and planets can make or cause a person to be the way are. I'm Catholic and there are a lot of Christian people in general who just don't buy or feed into it. I think Astrology is very interesting and really cool but I believe in God and know that he made me not a star, moon or planet.

I don't fully understand what you are saying?
I asked how its proven everyday, and what religion are you talking about, do you beleive its possible for more than one religion to be true? I'm not mocking anything, you could call astrology religion but i don't like the word, it turns in into a form of control

Before you talk about the goodness of religion, have you seen the pope?

I do agree astrology is very modern and less fatalistic as it use to be.
When you start to study vedic astrology it's really based on creationism and starts to become a religion.

Religion is the belief and worship in God or a god therefore making my comment correct..... I wasn't talking about any certain or specific religion. I was just stating in general. Astrology can't and will never be a religion because it doesn't fit the criteria to be one. The wars created were because of the people not the Pope.
