Well guys, Hollywood has taken us through smoldering vampires, hunky werewolves, freakish demons and now...we're on to Witches. Shows about witches are on the rise, there is remake about the Wicked Witch of the West coming out in 2014.My question to you is...what placements or aspects would you look for in a chart of a witch? They are real...so if you are a witch your input is welcome. IP: Logged |

What do you mean by Witches? Witches originally were Women who dedicated their lives to medicine and herblore and the witch slant was one of the ****** things in history - Or do you mean muahahahha black cat on a broom? I think hekate rules witchcraft and sorcery ? Pluto & Neptune would tie in .. IP: Logged |

Neptune is the planet of illusion. So that sounds perfect. For a magician, who's magic is but an illusion. But I speak of real witches. With real knowledge of the world's energies and how best to harness them. I've heard stories of a Great Witch in Maryland, and another in New Orleans... Maybe they have strong Pluto...or Uranus? No not the witches that fly on brooms. Actual witches with real ties to the other side. I don't think Neptune would tie in...well maybe..I figured this is the perfect thread as we approach Halloween. IP: Logged |

^^ I was kind of thinking the same thing, but to SSS's credit, she has a lot of unusual insights into astrology that don't occur to most of us. I'll have to contemplate Aquas and the 11th house now. IP: Logged |

But, off the top of my head I would say luminaries or other powerful, personal planets like Pluto or Neptune, conjunct asteroids like Hekate (I know that's been mentioned), and even asteroids like Medea, Circe, etc.I'm just making assumptions, though. But it seems logical to me. IP: Logged |

Honey, magic is all around us. Astrology in itself is a magic of sorts. Do you not believe in the existence of magical knowledge?

I stumbled on to a site that placed a lot of emphasis on people with Mars in the 8th House. Deep emotions seems to play a part in casting spells.IP: Logged |

11th house is associated with wishes and fantasies. It also rules channeling. Magics and rituals performed with the help of a large group is also related to 11th.IP: Logged |

I've read about Aqua, Uranus and the eleventh house's connections to wizard, witches, the occult, metaphysics and sorcery. Neptune has also been said to rule witches, witchcraft, covens and the occult in general. Although I'd like to take credit, I can't this time IP: Logged |

Well..this is a long story.People I know and trust claim that it has happened to them to be cursed or someone tried black magic on them. Then, there are all those myths and not everything can be a lie. There's certainly something out there but I don't know what. IP: Logged |

People forget in ancient times that feminine planets like the Moon and Venus governed magic. I would say the moon is white magic and venus black magic. Uranus and neptune were discovered in 1700's/1800's. I'd have to say ever since people started concentrating on the outer planets and the moon and venus are more neglected of their full capabilities.IP: Logged |
