LOL Also realizing that "winning" is not important. She'd let me have a tantrum and if I snap at her she stays relaxed, understanding that fighting just blows it up. I also have the same understanding. If she's in that explode mode, I let her and don't fight back.

Then later we laugh about it sometimes.
It just takes maturity and understanding that fighting for it's own sake is pretty silly.

They take a little tweaking of reassurance but other than that they're incredible. Never a dull moment.

I am glad you guys are doing well, I know you had your share of challenges. As you see, we do too. My life has been terribly hectic in the last few months (though in a good way) and I haven't had time to post in here, but I do read from time to time and keep an eye on my friends.

Now when you say that we need a man to be "behind us" do you mean a man that usually lets us Lead? Or a man that is equally as strong as us that simply prefers not to be in the spotlight?

There are guys who don't care for the spotlight.And by that I mean that they embrace the vivaciousness of the women that they are with

Most people will say that these guys like "dominant" females.And that is how society will perceive them.That they are "weak" or "not man enough" etc.

A man that is not 'man enough' is one that feels that he has to assert his masculinity by holding anyone whom he feels threatened by down.The "lack" is where the insecurity stems from.

That man is the type that the Aries women(in fact all women) should stay away from. It can smite her light and stifle her.

But the Aries woman must decide from the start what she wants.

1.A man that is just as ambitious as she is. One that she claims she can "respect" and see as her "equal" etc.

Because this man will have the same qualities and quirks that will exacerbate the relationship;the arguments,the fights, the standoff etc. and make the relationship feel more like a competitive event than a corner where you get support from.

Not unless there is a maturity in you Aries to foresee bottlenecks and maneuver accordingly.Can you do this on a consistent basis? Because this will be required.

2.A man that has his own thing going. Perhaps not as grand and spectacular as your plans. But they are satisfied with their lot.Satisfied enough to encourage her from the wings?

He did need a bit of reassurance in the beginning - that is true, Barbie! He was going through a hard time because of his illness (he has Wilson's) as well as a nasty break-up last year. He said I brought back the joy in his life and his will to live and fight for his future.
