Like you...I have Mars in the 3rd but in Capricorn. I don't enjoy fights on a regular basis - playful or not. Fighting on purpose feels like "manufactured" passion to me. I like the deep, smoldering, authentic type of passion most - where you can simply stare at your partner once and *feel* that FIRE. Just raw! Which is why I dig Scorpio Mars so much! Yes, because Aries Mars is turned on by the physical contact. Stares and innuendos can only do so much. We like physical exertion, hearts racing and short breaths. I particularly think sweat is sexy or can be. It's all about the physical body to us and we're on the rough side, yes. Aries Mars is primal. Having it in the 3rd tempers mine somewhat and makes sex a brain thing - not to mention my 8th is ruled by Mercury. I don't consider it fake passion at all, as long as we're both in the moment. I liked Scorpio Mars too, if I am attracted to one it's probably opposite my Venus. I have Mars/Pluto so both our styles are intense and dramatic, it works out. However, they're not all that into experiments and variety and we like those.

It does not =fighting for me either, not always. Sometimes I get out there as Venus in Taurus and that one is sweet and vanilla, as well as sorta passive. But I feel best when I express my Ariesness to be honest.
I value intellectual communication a lot, it's very important for me to talk to partners. I have Mars conjunct Mercury, too. Communication is a turn-on for sure and it does not need to be conflictual - believe it or not I am not that way 90% of the time (but when I am, I LIKE it, that was my point, I really really enjoy myself). I like to listen to partners talk about their jobs or hobbies even if sometimes I don't understand everything when they get technical about it, but seeing how passionate they are about it is such a turn on.
