I know they can be psychotic too, but I've never dated a Pisces. I've only had them as friends. My Taurus sun, Pisces moon friend dated a Pisces guy and he was controlling and psychotic and a quivering mess all at the same time.

Our moons are tightly square, and although there is some affinity between our moons, it's still difficult. He wants to shine, and I like ambient lighting. We would be awesome friends.

That's my nice way of saying he's always on the go, wanting to do things, and I can be a boring homebody.

A fiery Virgo? You've got to be kidding me! lol
Anyways, RFTS, I wish you all the best, it seems like you've made your decision already. Does he know/suspect you intend to separate from him? How does he feel about it? Sorry if I'm prying, I am sublimating, like my therapist says lol. My NN is late Gemini so you guys are just a few years older than I am.

The whole chart is important - I'm sure others have said that lol
But in terms of just Sun Signs, it depends on what you are looking for. In my experience - for a long term, serious relationship the best matches are Leo Suns and Scorpio Suns. But that's only if you are absolutely sure that you want to settle down.. otherwise Leo/Scorpio can make you feel suffocated.
But if you meet the right Leo (or Scorpio) at the right time in your life - this can be a very loving and positive relationship.

Oh no.. someone mentioned Scorpio. Oh well. Never again, Odette. Never again. Same as Libras, never again. I am swearing off the whole month of October. In my case, it was backwards, I wanted to settle down.

Every so often you may encounter a Gemini who you argue with more than you play .. but this is a pretty rare occurrence. There has to be much negativity and friction in the synastry to wipe out the positive vibes (of which there are many).

I agree here about the Geminis. About Aquas too. I got along best with these 2 signs here. Sag would be No. 3. After that it gets blurry.

I wouldn't even know where to start explaining the Aries/Pisces relationship. As friends it works, but romantically it can get very complicated and very hurtful.
I don't think any other guy in the zodiac can cause as much pain and emotional damage to an Aries woman - as a Pisces can.

Hmm. I dated one but it wasn't that bad. I would say, like Vicky, that they stick to the back of your head. Biggest damage done to me was by.. hmm. Taurus, Sag and Scorpio. Not exactly in this order.

My vote is for Sag...

They have the directness of Aries but also the playfulness. And they'll let you be as opinionated as you want to be (if you can put up with their bickering in return, not always an easy task lol)

Ohhhh ok wow sorry I just realized who you are Dancing Maenad... But yeah I'd still say Sag or maybe Aqua as others have said. Another Aries could be good too. Anyway, jupiter in your 7th sounds promising, I've read this transit causes breakups but only to clear the way for the real thing And whoever it is you deserve someone who is just as awesome as you are

Well no offense to anyone but I always like to hear both sides to a story...the motives and reasons behind actions, even if the actions are shady.
That said though.... I have no clue what happened and just wish the best for both at this point.

I know right... A fiery Virgo and a homey Gemini. Hmmm, something's not right!!! Actually, it's just the dynamic of our relationship. My mutability ends up filling the voids in our partnership which happens to fall in the home environment. I always thought I'd marry a Mr. Mom. What a surprise I got. His sun is an earth singleton, and venus is his only planet in water. Not that he isn't good at household stuff, but he has way too many interests to be bothered with. And...Um...hello, gemini here...do you know how many things I left undone and would like to get back to...

We've had short separations in the past, and currently, he knows we aren't well. I'm as transparent as I can be without causing too much grief, and I've casually suggested a trial separation which he declined. It's an issue I need to approach with more seriousness.

Yes, if your saturn is in the early degrees of Scorpio, we are a year apart.

Thanks for the best wishes - same to you.

I'm very late to the Aries Party, forgive me please.

I have not yet read through this incredibly long thread. But I'll add my two cents as I go!

I'm a proud Arian Woman - passion is essential for me! As is intellect, communication & a sense of adventure. Obviously, the whole chart comes into play. But if I have to list Sun Signs alone:

-Gemini...bond based on great communication & great fun!

-Sagittarius...equally fiery & adventurous. We teach each other a lot. Truly!

-Pisces...instant chemistry! Yin to my yang. Interesting match for us. It's scrumptious!

-Scorpio...no duo could EVER be more powerful! As long as we compromise, the relationship will never ever be dull. Transformative bond.

-Libra...just amazing friendship. We balance each other out. Different approaches? Yes but usually we share the same belief system!

I think those (5) are the best for Aries Women. I enjoy them!

I do love Scorpios! Pluto and Vertex right in my Libra 5th house, but in Scorpio.

Libras? You like Libras? BLECH. TAKE THEM ALL.

I notice you really like your mutable signs though LA! What's your other four planets in? (Moon, Mercury, Venus Mars)

I'm heavily Cardinal actually!! Aries Sun, Cancer Moon & Cap Mars.

Pisces Mercury for mutable.
Taurus Venus for fixed.

What about you Hanna??

We may disagree about Libras but we definitely are on the same page about Scorpios. Scorpio is actually my favorite placement for Mars in males!

As for the other Signs --

I've been attracting many Aquarians lately. I do like them - they are funny, intelligent, and genius. Aries & Aquas make an awesome pair when it comes to shaking sh*t up! Such fun! I have always enjoyed them as friends.

Aquas simply aren't intense enough for me romantically though. I'm a passionate person and I need that reflected back to me in my partners.

I like some things about Taurean Men. Dislike other things about them. I appreciate their rugged, home-grown masculinity very much. Not sure they are exciting enough though!

I used to REALLY be into Cancer Men. Not so much now. I'm neutral at this point.

Arian Men? If I date fellow Aries they have to be HEAVILY Aries - like Sun & Mars in Aries or Sun & Moon. That intense male energy...TURNS. ME. ON. But I'd only do short-term for fun, nothing long-term w/ them. Some Arians can be much too selfish and I don't play that in the romance department!

Leo Males are alright. Neutral about them like I am w/ Cancer. We bump heads a lot and they need too much "superficial" attention, which isn't my thing. They have good hearts though.

Virgo nags too damn much for me. And the worrying brings down the Arian enthusiasm sometimes. Overall, I can date them as long as they can learn to 'let loose'. They are always there to look out for you and lend a helping hand, which I do love.

I haven't dated many Cap Males. Don't know how we fit, really. I appreciate their principles and standards! I don't feel inferior to them (like many people do) because I know I'm a great f*cking prize! So yeah...maybe we'd be a killer match?!

Hi Odette. Just curious what makes you say that Pisces can hurt us the worst?

And do you feel it's the same for them? Aries hurting them?

OMG nothing but the truth!

I cut off this one Pisces guy I was really into. I refused to have sex with him and I did not allow it to get serious. Why?? Because he had me *this close* to falling so deeply in love with him!! And I knew he wasn't yet emotionally mature enough to treat me right and give me what I deserved...so I ended it.

Like a Pisces...he wanted (at first) to "become" what I needed instead of truly discovering who he truly WAS and showing me that.

Like the Aries that I am...I got over him within 2 weeks and forgot about him after that. HOWEVER...8 months later I begin thinking about this man out of NOWHERE. I mean STRONG back in my head!! All the "should, coulda, wouldas" returned and I'm like F*CK THIS.

He had an impact on me. And I on him. I agree that the Aries/Pisces dynamic is something unique. Complicated, but very special.

I've never been with Mars in Scorpio, but I agree! I love how I feel around them! All jittery and sexy at the same time, lol.

I'm heavily cardinal too. Lots of squares to my Cap planets (outer) and Aries planets.

I have a lot of earth in my chart too (Moon in Taurus then Saturn, Uranus, Neptune in Capricorn) so perhaps that's why I don't care for Libras (or other Aries iRL) but enjoy and mesh with water signs or Aquariuses.

Girl! You're an Aires... Seriously? What were you thinking?!

NO WATER, ever! (said in a Joan Crawford voice) It just does not work.

I'm going to jump on the band wagon and suggest Leo. I'll add Aries, Sag, Cap & Aqua too.

But Leo.... I don't know why people are so harsh on them on this forum. The good ones are great. And they are not super dominant. They are quietly strong. Think of the lion he's not all up in your face. He's hangin' out watching making sure everything is Ok.

Find an evolved one, not a narcissist. You can run the show and he'll hang back until he is needed. The good thing is the one who's always looking in the mirror is easy to spot and move away from.

Water signs don't always stereotypically lack energy I mean it depends on the lifestyle they choose to live but fire along with being energetic can be so obnoxious and noisy....

Like every cancer or pisces guys I meet are really attractive not only to me but everyone else in the room.

It's not the energy levels. I've dated a Cancer and a Pisces who are both super high energy they were always on the move, always exploring, etc.

It's the emotional stuff. And not the moon emotions. Just the way they deal with emotions/themselves/what they want/need, etc is incompatible with fire.

They are moody, broody, "mysterious" (um-huh)... Just come out with it already!! It's just the watery thing.

Well good for you, but you sound more like the exception. I like November Scorps, but anything October, Scorp or Libra, is a no go. I also like Scorpio Marses, we have good chemistry (Taurus Venus here).
