Moon in Taurus in the 11th house.

I never looked at it this way until now but when people aren't friendly and comfortable, I get insecure. Like not getting a text back, or someone being inconsistent OMG I hate when people are inconsistent.

When my kids were little, they had to sleep with me. I felt very nervous when they were away. When they got big enough to kick me in the face, I moved them to their own little beds in the same room with me. When they were about 7 & 10 they moved into their own rooms.

Now, it's just me & the hubby in our room.

So in other words, I feel secure sleeping surrounded by my family. We could have crappy days and be at each other's throats but all cuddled up... nothing else in the world like that.

I do tend to cuddle with platonic friends too. I love having them over just watching TV. My home is my place of security [/B

This sounds so strongly Cancer to me its ridiculous.Wow!

In what way does the Sag energy manifest at all?

I thought you were going to mention that you like a huge, open home or something.

Or that your family(4th)centres around debates and discussions on issues of faith, ethnicity and religion(Sagittarius).

Or that your family IS multicultural and that sorts of diversity makes you feel secure.

Whereas conversely the lack of open-mindedness,of diversity, limited exposure to differing people/views and lack of "family" sense in the outside world, makes you feel "iffy".

I thought Pisces in 2nd house suggested that someone tends to "lose" things that they value. Or at-least be liberal with spending i.e impulse buying etc.

But I guess that having the Moon in 2nd would put one's soul(Moon) in things that they own/have(2nd). And Money(2nd house)would be something that makes them feel secure(Moon)

Do you find that you use a lot of your intuition(Moon in Pisces)when dealing with purchases or making monetary obligations(2nd)?

How active are you in groups/associations?

Are you the wallflower that feels happy just being a part of the group or do you often gravitate to where the controls are?

4th house Capricorn Moon conjunct Neptune, IC, Saturn and Uranus - from tightest to least tight.

I need a quiet place to retreat to now and then, especially when I'm tired or have been taking care of others for a long time (both Neptune). I also like my house to be reasonably neat, decorated in a nice, inviting way, etc. Having people over and to just have long, deep conversations with (IC and your private life, right?). I can have a wonderful evening just hanging on the couch with a partner or close friend, talking or watching movies together with some takeaway. And I'm very attached to my family.

My Moon's ruler in the 3rd house makes me crave communication, too. I don't mind some time alone with my thoughts, but I do need to talk to people now and then, have people around in the neighbourhood so we can easily meet up, etc. Love my relatives as well.

Neptune rules my 6h and I do need to feel/be healthy, and have some sort of work to do or else I get all restless. Uranus as my 5th house ruler wants me to have fun and be all quirky and eccentric now and then.

Moon also opposite Chiron, MC (and Jupiter by default); trine Venus, Mercury and Mars; sextile Pluto.

What makes me insecure? Having to keep my emotions to myself (I'm a weird Cappy Moon with all those conjunctions!), not being able to share my more deeper feelings with someone close to me. Sympathy and understanding are super important to me. Plus lack of communication about big problems for that 3rd house influence.

Oh, it's true too. I'm an impulse buyer. I love to buy things I don't need just to collect it. I bought 4 earphones and 1 headset recently since I felt like buying it to see how the sound differs from each other, even if I already have 5 earphones in here, including the ones that came with my phones. After that I'm now into buying bags, I bought 7 already this Oct.-Nov. I don't need them at all, I just find them cute. Also bought 4 phones this year, 3 2nd hand, 1 brand new. I just feel that it's ok to collect things. I read that for Sun in 2nd house people, we think cash is made to be spent, and that is soo true, and my moon makes me attached to them. You know what, for example, I know I should throw away the shoes that I used in high school. But I can't, since it reminded me of soo many happy memories! They should be thrown or given away to the needy already, lol.

Interesting info about "losing things" too. My family damages them behind my back, it's crazy, I
get ANGRY about it. I have to keep them sealed, padlocked with high-end locks like Abloy since they know how to pick cheap locks. Unfortunately, they duplicated the ones they can't pick, my bro stole the keys while I was sleeping, but that's another topic already, lol. I read before that Mars square ascendant will make your possessions damaged. I have that tight aspect, plus I have Mars, Chiron, and North Node in the 4th, plus Mars opposition Midheaven, so my domestic life is a warzone.
I didn't know that Sun in 2nd house can contribute to losing valued stuff too.

And the intuition thing comes not from me but from the psychics that I consult with, lol. When buying 2nd hand items, I now ask them if it will last for a year at least before buying it, since the 2 used phones that I bought this year conked out after several months. My intuition doesn't seem to work on material objects.

It depends if they're boring or not. Do you think that has to do with my Aries stuff being in the 11th too? I've ALWAYS wanted a group of friends to go out with all the time and be close knit, but I'm more comfortable with one-on-one or one-on-two. When they're people I can't relate with I'm happy just being a wallflower part of the group, but otherwise I become comfortable and bossy.

I know someone with Sun in 2nd house. He recently quit his job but when he was working,he lived to work.

His Sun is in Aquarius-not Capricorn as one would anticipate. And I don't think he had a "detached" approach against making money either.

In-fact,I would say that there was a strong dedication towards always having it.He'd work on weekends and very odd hours to make cash.

Money(2nd) seemed to define him(Sun).

Another Aries I know has Moon in Virgo in the 2nd house. He collects a lot of books and is an avid reader.

The Moon in 2nd would make him a collector and hoarder. He would need a lot of stuff to make him feel secure and will probably continue to collect things throughout his life.

Yes I think having another sign placement also in the 11th house can contradict things a bit.

The needing of one-on-one contact is Taurus. I get that. Taurus is comfortable with a small group of friends.

My sister has Mars in Gemini in the 11th. She makes acquaintances everywhere she goes.

But what other planet is in Aries and the 11th?

Aries is brusque and direct. To nurture friendships however, one has to be a little more nurturing and long-suffering.

Luckily you have the Moon in Taurus energy also in 11th to keep things steady.

So Aries energy may be direct, be very forward in meeting others ad have a very "open" manner in apparoach etc.

But when the people you've gathered get to really know you, perhaps the deeper more placid Moon in Taurus energy solidifies the friendships Aries initiated?

4th house Aquarius moon conjunct saturn

My family doesn't provide any emotional security and I'm not attached to them. I provide my own emotional support and very very rarely, from friends.

I feel insecure when emotionally misunderstood, when I've exposed my emotions and someone hasn't reacted in a way I would have anticipated .... being around those or in a situation here I can't be my true authentic self

I feel secure when I get a lot of alone time, having a deep and intellectually stimulating conversation and reciprocal affection..

Saturn conjunct anything makes authenticity important.

If authenticity is lacking or there seems to be a flaky attitude therein,Saturn can interpret that as being unreliable and will quickly detach.

Maybe your family may have interpreted your nature as too "heavy". Or they may have expected you to assume your own emotional independence very early on(Aquarius on 4th).

Saturn there only served to compound what the Aquarius house was all about. So feeling like your family is not there for you at all is not uncommon with Saturn in 4th.

Do you have a planet that squares/opposes the Saturn in 4th? From you post it sounds to me that there is a strong need for both intellectual and emotional intimacy and contact.

Yep I have this conjunct my moon in 11th, constantly making friends but only superficially.

In a nutshell what makes me secure is my family and my close friends and biggest insecurity, sounds lame, but public speaking!

What you say deeply resonates. I definitely had to assume my own emotional independence from a young age, perhaps when from when I was 5 years old. Love was a foreign thing. My parents are hard workers, and raised me the only way they knew how, but it was an affection-less childhood and there was no warmth or nurturing in my home. Maybe something close to abuse.

My moon is squared by my scorpio ascendant which makes me very suspicious, secretive and hard to know. My moon is also loosely squared by my 1st house pluto by 8 degrees, I don't know if you would count that.
Together with my 8th house mars and 12th house venus....... I want that intellectual/emotional/spiritual intimacy like no other but it seems nobody I have met yet meets my standards of authenticity. And I feel and fear that any less would just hurt me in the long-run

BINGO!! Venus in 12th house re-iterates what you said about showing someone your vulnerable side and them failing to acknowledge it.

Also the need to have intellectual stimulating conversation and reciprocal affection.

I wonder if Venus is in Libra? It would explain the need for reciprocation and also because you have Scorpio on the Asc.

Sometimes Venus in 12th can have the effect of someone struggling to show their more vulnerable side.

In a woman's chart,it could suggest a woman who doesn't feel "feminine, fails to identify with other women or has some self-esteem issues when it comes to her own beauty(Venus). She just can't see it(12th)

In a man's chart,it could suggest someone who may crave relating with others and is blocked by feelings of inadequacy also.

At other times it may even suggest someone whom others fail to see as affectionate/ needing love.So people often assume the individual is "above all that sentimentality" etc.

Secret love affairs or relationships with shady people is also how this Venus can manifest itself.

Venus in 12th can often get the short end of the stick and may go through a lot of heartbreak in love and learn very painful lessons on what true self-worth is and what love really means.

But all of this will be especially true with a challenged Venus/Moon in a natal chart.

Yes my venus in libra! And guess what it is definitely challenged as it squares uranus! But in the positive, venus trines my moon and saturn

Love to me, is a very divine, pure, universal and unconditional thing. It's something I am trying to reach internally always but I struggle immensely due to all that childhood conditioning. I also think it's very saturn that I am trying to reach a state of love independently within myself, instead of searching for it elsewhere (I am sure it will come externally eventually, law of attraction and all)

I struggle to show my vulnerable and sensitive side, and it's as though it's something that takes a mind of its own. For example, I can meet someone and instantly know within 5 minutes that I can show this side to them but for others, we'll be good friends for YEARS and I still just CAN'T CAN'T do it. Saturn and the 12th house act like an imprisonment for all that resides there, and I'm pretty sure it's self-imprisonment but it certainly feels like I don't have the key.

I truly feel that my life purpose is to understand what love is. I actually just had the epiphany right now from your very accurate descriptions. Thank you so much for your insights!

First, let me start off saying I am so incredibly envious of your sister's Mars! What I wouldn't give to have my Mars placed in ANY other house but the 12th.

Two, it's my Sun, Mercury, and Venus. They're all conjunct each other and they square my 7th house planets. Well, Saturn and Neptune there. Uranus is just by his lonesome self aspect wise. In short, both my "people" houses relate to each other and are afflicted somewhat.

My MOON is positively aspecting all of the 7th, so I suppose that helps when it comes to attracting and bonding.

Sorry to babble - "When people really get to know you, perhaps the deeper more placid moon in Taurus energy solidifies what the Aries initiated?" If I let them. But my Moon is opposing Pluto so I let only a few people in. The rest probably THINK they're in because of my Aries and Gemini placements coming across so expressive, enthusiastic, and concerned, but it takes a lot for me to care wholeheartedly. Thus my friendships are more erratic, and off / on than you'd think looking at my chart.

Thanks for listening!

Yeah, the Moon in the 2nd house would make one a hoarder. Yikes. I'm becoming one since I started earning my own money, lol.

Wow. Sometimes I find myself overlooking aspects, but that is really where everything starts.

Moon conjunct Neptune?? Yikes. I am still reeling from Neptune touching a personal planet- ever since having a transit years ago.Neptune packs a punch.

Moon-Neptune,moon sextile Pluto are both very deep placements. And the Moon in aspect(by trine)to Mercury enhances ones need to talk(mercury) about feelings(Moon). Or express(Mercu) what's going on within(Moon).

And with Neptune,Pluto aspecting Moon. That is quite a lot.

But Mercury is the actual action i.e Mercury puts in the actual words.Mercury in aspect to Saturn can make one a concise speaker and very thorough.I have this aspect(along with Venus).

Does your natal Mercury aspect both Neptune and Pluto? Because that is where one will find the words and long for a "connection" with a reciprocal/equally deep person.

Aspects of Mercury to Saturn/Venus may help you articulate yourself with thoroughness (Saturn)and eloquence(Venus).

Moon/Mars in Gemini and the 11th and yet one fears public speaking? Hmmm

I wonder if Mars is challenged by square/opposition?

Or maybe there are afflictions with Mercury? Especially in aspect with Neptune

Moon on the IC increases the need to secure the home-front and keep everyday patterns/errands in check.

I wonder how you feel about your bedroom? Is it like a temple? Sacred and limited to access from others?

With Moon in Cap-together with Virgo- there is an awareness of the acute details. There is joy and ease in the simple things that all those minor things(bills and laundry) are sorted and life is progressing well.

Got it

The rest probably THINK they're in because of my Aries and Gemini placements coming across so expressive, enthusiastic, and concerned, but it takes a lot for me to care wholeheartedly. Thus my friendships are more erratic, and off / on than you'd think looking at my chart.

Thanks for listening!

Hmm.Is Saturn/Neptune square your Sun,Mercury and Venus?Coz this could also be the effect of being every selective about whom you let "in".

Saturn/Neptune both tend to "limit" or dissolve(in a respective fashion)the planet they touch.

Moon in Taurus opposing Pluto longs for "connection". Especially if in the 7th.

I knew a guy who had this opposition and he was very difficult to get close to.

On the one hand,he probed very deep interactions with me- speaking of very deep subjects and feelings therien.

But when it came for him to "bring it", he would get very defensive.Accuse me of being too much like a "girl" and detach.

It is tricky as I think that it creates a fear of being "consumed" by the partner or, in as far as Moon in Taurus is concerned, emotional DRAMA that Pluto in Scorpio may bring.

So this is the push/pull effect.Where one tends to attract or be attracted to partner's(Moon)that evoke very deep feelings and longings(Pluto).

Then conversely feel "uncomfortable"(opposition)with those deep yearnings(Pluto) once they are there;whether they are from the partner or from the self(Moon).

Sag Moon at the end of H2. I often wonder if my birth time is a little off since I have some typical H3 Moon expressions. My Moon aspects pretty much everything in my chart. From tightest to widest aspect: trine Venus, opposite Mars and Chiron, sextile Jupiter and AC, inconjunct Sun, conjunct Uranus, trine Mercury.

It is very, very difficult for me to truly answer this question, and I ascribe it to the many aspects I have, so the influence of my Moon is scattered and I feel it in many areas of my life. Being allowed to speak my mind makes me feel secure. Being allowed to be myself. Being allowed to express my wisdom. People that don't respect the spiritual side of life make me feel very stifled.

I'm sort of undecided with possessions. On the one hand, HAVING things makes me feel safe. On the other, it makes me feel unsafe. I very much enjoy the idea of being able to pack up everything I own in 5 minutes and move on. There's a very strong nomadic side to me. BUT Taurus Sun (the inconjunction). I'm always fluctuating between wanting more to feel safe, and wanting less to feel safe.

Having work also makes me feel safe and secure. I have a very compulsive need to work. Also, studying. I'm at my absolute happiest when I've had a nice (vegetarian) meal, and I'm in a nice, warm room with natural light, with a fast computer and a fast connection, and I can just study whatever I feel like studying that day. Give me around 7 hours of recorded video lectures and I'm in heaven. I'm one of those weird people that watch academic lectures for fun. That's very H3 Moon. But mine is 3° before the cusp, in H2.

Yes, Saturn Neptune is square that stellium!

Pluto is in the 5th by the hair of it's chinny-chin-chin.

Moon / Pluto I think just needs lots and lots of time. Like one time I was messing with this guy and he stopped and whispered "What do you think of me?" as in wanting to get into emotions I think and whatnot, I don't know. It's a big no-no to spring that on a Moon / Pluto person. So to add, we like to control when we give and receive emotions too. Not to get off-track or anything
