What makes me feel secure? UNCONDITIONAL LOYALTY.
What makes me feel insecure? People judging me before they know me, and people talking about my personal business and casting judgement. I like to regulate my levels of privacy.

Not sure if those things are indicated by the sign and position of my moon, but... that's me!

I can see that. We don't like feeling exposed unless it's on our terms - or maybe that's my Aries influence on the Moon / Pluto.

Maybe Moon / Pluto don't like being exposed, period. I have to say it is extremely terrifying. We think of worst case scenarios and cling to them.

I co-sign what you said above about being ignored or interrupted - NOT GOOD. I must feel understood & respected in order to trust you.

Also, I love feeling protected and looked after. I'm often the person protecting others and trying to make them feel safe....but it' nice to receive that same care in return!

And not so much in a mushy, corny way - (I'm Taurus Venus, Cap Mars) so I feel most secure when you keep your word, "do" things for me instead of just "talking" about doing it, and never taking me for granted.

You said that your Moon is in the 9th house.
Moon in 9th usually has the innate desire to teach/learn.And with Moon in Cancer,one may feel that it is through teaching others/learning that they feel connected(Cancer)

Aspects to the Moon hinder/help the expression of that teaching/learning process.

Mars/Pluto opposite Moon excites the emotional nature.Learning/
teaching for them is exciting.

Debating/insightful exchange between them and others etc.They love it.

Jupiter/Neptune/Moon aspects suggest the extensive reading,subject engagement,use of imagination etc. is key in them teaching /learning.

If in the 10th house.The Moon in 10th house usually desires a career/advancement through the use innate talents(Moon).Or a career that encompasses a lot of what they learned as children/grew up under.

Again,aspects to the Moon hinder/help the expression of the self in the career path.And what was said above will also apply here.

They are both very similar and since the Moon is in Cancer, they are not easy to differentiate.As both yearn for security, stability and financial rewards.

The Moon in 9th however,may be more comfortable acquiring these things in an academic environment or one that involves personal expansion.

This may be the student who has many degrees and is a celebrated academic.But due to the Cancer energy, she may also have made wise investment plans and is very frugal with her money-as it provides security.

The Moon in 10th may be more comfortable in an environment that is less about personal expansion,but more about attaining an end goal.

This is the intern that works for years under the same company and eventually makes partner.

What makes me feel secure: Financial security. VERY important to me. Exercising regularly. Feeling fit and lean...I love it when my muscles are sore the day after working out=) I feel secure and happy when I have freedom to do what I want. When I have my friends and family around and we are all just enjoying each other and having fun. Also a clean and organized environment makes me happy, but I'm not usually the one to make it that way lol.

What makes me feel insecure: Being nitpicked. Feeling like I don't have the freedom to make my own choices. Feeling confined. Neediness, strangely enough. Desperation from my partner or other people makes me feel very caged in and insecure. When I am having health issues or think I might be having health issues I get pretty freaked out and insecure. Being away from my family and a support system makes me feel insecure too. And of course, being told I am ugly or that my personality is lacking in some way makes me insecure, but I think that's everyone.

Yes Moon/ Mars in 11th is usually comfortable in large crowds.

But the opposition of Moon/Mars to Neptune springs periods of self-doubt.BINGO!!

So you may vacillate between feeling good giving the speeches to the crowd and then at other times,just be too shy to go on stage.
