You have to dig into the density, study hard and comprehend it. Dumbing the subject down to assimilate it more easily simply means you've assimilated a junk food version of the subject.

Death shouldn't be 'easy' to see in the chart. Now that we are living so much longer than the ancient Greeks there is not the same need to see death by using astrology because they were going to die perhaps by age 30 and had to have family affairs, wills, etc, in order with your offspring much earlier in adulthood.

We generally have no problems with this today.

The only way to properly approach this subject is with the entire symbology of death in mind, as seen in the various mythologies that under-gird astrology.

Psychological deaths - and rebirths - of various sorts occur far more often than physical death. And they are very important to our growth and happiness as humans. Pluto transiting through one's 4th house can bring up such issues, but it won't be as an academic study, but as a literal and/or spiritual experience that is as a slow, spiritual purgative for the soul.

Study the houses of endings in the natal chart, and what 'endings' means in its fullest. 4th, 8th, 12th houses.

My brother died in a freak accident. I don't know his time but I can see that mars and sun were conjunct, opposite his mercury. Saturn was conjunct his pluto. NN was on his sun. Jupiter transit was opposite his Saturn. There were a lot of harmonious contact with his neptune and other planets. In a way the death was a relief for all of us because he was a drug addict. We spent years worrying about him and knowing he was "safe" brought us comfort. My mom thinks he is in heaven so I think it gave her a lot of peace.
