It seems to me that playing music on the ukulele is a way to open you up and help you connect with a source of happiness that you haven't had romantically. Music is vibrational and these vibrations have subtle, yet powerful effects on the psyche. If it's true that the ukulele is the happiest instrument, then those vibrations of joy are permeating inside you and helping you to feel it. I believe this is very important for you to experience this.

I've always been a loner, with a higher sense of duty, I suppose, than the ability to have casual love affairs. I tend to operate under the radar as well, maintaining a strong sense of privacy.I meditate regularly. I would imagine I've spent plenty of lifelines in clerical, ecclesiastical, as well as generally monastic environments. I'm a multidimensional 'zen' type, you might say. IP: Logged |

Except for the sense of duty, same here. L.A. ironically is an oasis of meditation with Mark Griffin @ Hard Light. IP: Logged |

An aspect of Venus in the 12H that Aubyanne brought up is multidimensionality. In Jungian terms, this is the house of the "collective unconscious," which is a matrix of images, motifs, and patterns that are universal, manifesting both in history and in individual biographies. Venus in the 12H is related to the whole subject of soulmates and twin flames, love that transcends time and space. But, another facet of the 12H is also its connection with unseen spiritual beings and forces. I thought of an experience I had when I was 18 or 19. I had just become involved with someone romantically. After spending time with him one day, I was leaving his house when a woman came by who obviously knew him well. She was smiling and happy to see him. They hugged and went inside, if I recall correctly. Anyway, it was a blow. I walked home, which was a long distance from where I lived. On the way, I suddenly had this feeling of being held in the palm of God's hand. Looking back on this experience, I'm certain that a spirit or being was the source of this invisible help. I think it interesting that it happened during a love affair, and that Venus served as the gateway. Anyone have similar experiences? IP: Logged |
