2) I don't normally get back to people right away. People always complain about not hearing enough from me and ask me where I've disappeared. I'm pretty busy, so that's my excuse.

I would never, ever.. *ever*.. make someone feel uncomfortable or "left out" by having a conversation in a language they don't understand, in their presence.

4) I've always felt closest to Scorpio Mercuries. They understand me with no words spoken, which is pretty awesome. But I also like Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Sag, Cap, Aqua and Pisces Mercuries... Mercury in the 12th house, Mercury in aspect to any of the transpersonal planets... and most of all, those with Mercury/Uranus aspects - because birds of a 'crazy' feather stick together

Yes, I return all communications instantly, but it also depends on who you are and what you're talking about. As far as purposely waiting before replying, I do this when texting... Sometimes I need time to think of what to say and other times I'm just not interested in talking to the person.

No, English only. It's my native language. Honestly when it comes to learning a new language, I'm not sure cause I'm actually too lazy to try to learn an entirely different language. As far as communicating in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't speak it, No. I wouldn't do that, in my opinion that's quite rude. I'll talk to everyone in the language that we all understand fluently.

I love talking to people who have their Moon trine my Mercury (or vice-versa).
I also like talking to people who have their Mars trining my Mercury (or vice-versa).
I communicate easily with Gemini Mercuries (although they may talk too much) and Aquarius Mercuries.
I have a free-flowing communication with people who have their Mercury in Sagittarius (preferably the earlier degrees 0-9)

Astrology - although I keep this topic a secret, no one knows I'm an expert with horoscopes. I keep quiet about it cause most people are close minded and arrogant and think Astrology isn't real. So I keep quiet about it in order to stop arguments from forming.

Education - I love talking about higher education and just school period

Life Goals - I like hearing what people have planned for the rest of their life and I like sharing what I have planned as well

Politics/Economy Discussions - this gets me going, I like to hear about what's going on in the country and what other people have to say about it

Jokes & Gossip - I don't like to gossip but I sure do love to hear gossip, as far as making jokes - yes, it gets me going.

I hate speaking on the phone but I'll try and get back to people as soon as if ive missed a call or whatever. Though when I was younger id keep forgetting to take my phone out or turn it on so yeah people used to hate trying to get in touch with me :/ im better now though because im out and about more.

I speak four including english well-ish. Im still learning. Though i generally find it rude speaking in a language in front people who didnt understand which is why I dont get to practice them as much, I tend to just listen to music or radio online or whatever to keep it up ^_^

Interestingly i find Libra mercuries seem to be the easiest to talk to, or saggitarius. Aquarius and gemini are hard to listen and talk to because they just go on or interrupt (no offense here, I admire them greatly for their intelligence and humour- honestly some are so funny, but theyre a bit overwhelming sometimes or seem disinterested)
Pisces can be sweet and wierd which I like too

- I reply msg INSTANTLY and I want instant replies too!! I get frustrated when I don't receive replies!! This is true even if I'm busy doing something else. UNLESS, I don't really like a person... then I will wait on replying as quickly.. But even that, I will get back to them within an hour. Generally, I will respond within a few minutes of receiving!

- I speak English and Japanese fluently. I understand Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese because of my mom (she's from Taiwan). I learned the latter two on my own just by listening to my mom talk and speak with her family members. She never taught me. I want everyone to understand what I am talking about so I will use the language which the majority understands. I want everyone to engage in the conversation!!

I'm terrible at returning my mother's phone calls. I generally do not enjoy talking on the phone and prefer to write out my communication. I can communicate beautifully in written text, more so than spoken words, although I am slowly allowing myself to express myself in real time without as much self-consciousness. I enjoy the sound of my voice. It's youthful, yet husky, and if I need it to be, slightly breathless if my aim is to turn on my lover with naughty words. hehe

I can speak Spanish, although I know more then I lead on to others. I am usually more charming in Spanish. I speak in front of others. I have spoken Spanish in front of family members I rarely seen who do not speak English.

I am terrible at returning calls and don't enjoy talking on the phone unless it's family, important or business related. Much preferring to text or email. Hence we don't have a home phone as I would no doubt have it off the hook constantly.

Air- mostly aqua and Gemini mercs
Fire- Aries and Leo
Water- pisces (my sun) and scorpio (sun in 8th)
Earth- my best friend is a Virgo with Virgo Merc, she and I have been friends for 30+ years, we can talk about pretty much everything and although we may differ on opinions now and then, we have never had an argument or fallen out. Not sure about taurus and cap mercs.

To be honest, I wouldn't feel comfortable talking non stop to anyone about anything, I love asking people questions about themselves, finding out what they do for a living, what makes them tick- not in a nosy way but a genuine interest. A lot of friends (even strangers) share their worries or problems with me and I am only too happy to help where I can and I will share advice if that's what they need. Also if someone is talking endlessly about something that is uninteresting to me, my Gemini moon and mars is quick to cause my mind to go off on a tangent and ponder what I'm going to cook for dinner tonight or what to wear tomorrow etc; only half heartedly listening to them.

Things I do enjoy talking and/or reading about are: my children, health and medical related subjects, sex, crime,the justice system (or injustice) in my country, work and business matters, taboo things and weird stuff. Astrology would probably be the only subject I would love to talk to someone/people endlessly about but I have no one that shares my interest, most people I know, only know their own sun sign and anything other than that is deemed hocus-pocus!

Hmm... Well, usually I like to get a quick response and answer back quickly too, if I don't have to think too much about what I have to write or if their behavior annoys me (too stupid, doesn't listen, asks the same questions, is over nice until it's obvious they're being hypocritical (because they're asking for a favor -- which implies thinking that they can fool me with kind words), etc.). In which case, I just leave it aside and eventually respond a couple of days later ... or I don't respond at all, in the rare times where my lazy and procrastinating Libran nature decides so.

I speak French and English fluently, learning Spanish. When traveling, I do prefer to learn the basics (yes, no, thank you, hello, etc.) first -- just not to sound like a total ignorant. And, as to your last question, I would feel uncomfortable only if the group of people were not talking to each other -- that would be too impolite in my opinion, especially if I knew the crowd.

Umm... I don't really get to look at my friends' or acquaintances' charts, so I'll just use the few I know of. My crush's Scorpio Mercury in the 6th house gets on pretty well with mine. We have the same beliefs, thoughts (yes, often), and way of speaking ... Well, if keeping silent most of the time, making accomplice eye contacts and half-smiling when the thought has been successfully transmitted is considered 'speaking', that is. I don't get on at all with my parents' exactly conjunct Cancer Mercuries. But my sister's Taurus Mercury in the 9th house is the easiest to interact with (that might be because we have the same ASC though).

2) I typically respond to texts pretty quickly as well as Facebook messages. I'm more inconsistent with phone calls though -- I have heard some complaints about the wait before. But other times I'm very prompt in calling people back. So it truly depends! Ha. I much prefer calling people instead of texting, especially if the conversation is going to linger. I'll be ready to shoot you in the face if you attempt to text me for HOURS!

I often am thinking of several things at one time! I'm not really confused, just very mentally alert. I'm a very thoughtful person. I *think* as often as I *feel* things. My communication style is adaptable, so I can get almost anyone to open up to me if I want.

3) I took Spanish in school - I enjoyed it and did very well with it! Although, I've forgotten most of it now. Lol. I see nothing wrong with learning some fun phrases of another language while traveling, it's interesting! I've always wanted to learn French BTW.

4) I definitely enjoy interaction with other Pisces Mercury folks. It's free-flowing and we get INTO each other's subconscious...which I dig. Gemini Mercury (Gemini anything really) I always, ALWAYS have amazing conversations with. I love it! I also do pretty well with Scorpio, Taurus and Aqua Mercury. Cancer Mercury is fine as long as they don't get silly and defensive too often.

5) What subjects can I discuss non-stop? MUSIC - I can go on forever about the songs and artists that move me. Truly! I can talk about love & relationships quite a bit, too. I'm also passionate about personal growth, intelligence, spirituality, culture and of course ASTROLOGY.

I usually get along very well with Mercury in Pisces. They tend to speak very poetically/ in-between the lines which my Scorpio Mercury is naturally attuned to. 1.41 Degrees Taurus. In equal houses, 11th house. Koch too. In Plac houses it is in the 12. Same sign as my Saturn. Sextile Venus in Pisces and out of sign square to Moon in Cancer.

I hate phones. I cringe when I hear the phone ring and want to go hide. Maybe that while, where I worked reception at a homeless shelter, changed something within me. Emails are easier for others to get a hold of me and I will answer when I have time. Texting is quicker and very instant to ask and get a reply back from people. Emails and texts come quietly and doesn't really urgently need my attention......to talk on the phone, I need to be in the mood to be on the phone. I will, every once and a while, pick up the phone and call close friends who live out of town etc. To see how they are doing.

I took German in high school for three years and two at my local German-Canadian club. Though it has been a very long time since I spoke or read any German. Back in Grade school, I took Canadian French for two years and can only remember a few French words. My first boyfriend was from Chile and his aunt and uncle wanted to teach me Spanish.....

A long time ago, I used to work in a nursing home and I had a resident who was Hungarian. I did some research on the internet looking for basic phrases and words I could communicate with her.

Also, if I am around people who are speaking another language or English is their second
Language and they talk in an accent, I will start talking in that manner. There is a mimic side there.

I like to feel balanced so if I've talked to someone too much, I'll ignore them a bit but not rudely. I feel drained if I continue on with them. If you request something of me, I will reply fast! Usually, I'll see texts, mean to reply then get distracted and forget. I'm pretty sure a lot of women/men don't reply back texts quickly to their crushes as not to seem desperate, haha. Guilty. Not many people complain if I ignore them, unless I miss their call, also.

Yes 2, both not entirely fluent yet. I will admit I've had problems with learning languages and it was mostly because of pressure and feeling overwhelmed.

I'm bad at this. If I want to talk to someone I'll respond immediately, but to be perfectly frank I'd have been the one contacting them if that were the case. If it is important I will call back immediately, but if you don't leave me a message letting me know it's urgent, it could be days. I *often* will read a FB message and let it sit for days before getting back to it. I have to be in the mood to talk about whatever it is, and chances are Im not in *that* mood the second I randomly open a message. Touching base messages will probably go totally ignored. I have friends I do talk to every day, but never on a 'check in' basis. They'd think nothing of it if they heard nothing from me for a day, or three. Also, it matters if *I* think it's urgent; if you tell me something is urgent and then express to me something I dont consider urgent, Ill probably be even more reluctant to get back immediately. Youre asking for my urgent attention, for something I dont believe requires it ... and thats a drag.

I'm more likely to reply immediately via text than phone. Hate phones.

Some may drop a hint that they dont feel I'm keeping up with them enough, but no one who really knows me well would bother. They know I drop off from time to time/that it isnt personal, and there is always a way to reach me if it's *really* pivotal, so they don't really care.

I've lived in Korea (3 yrs) and Thailand (1 yr) and can speak both sufficiently. I wouldnt consider myself fluent by any stretch of the imagination, but I couldn't imagine living there for any considerable amount of time and not speaking the language enough to get by. A) It's ridiculous to expect others to always speak to you in your language in their country (saw this very often), and B) I dont like depending on others capabilities and competency to get what I want. Plenty of times I might be out and need something urgently, and the thought of having to rely on someone's competency at my language to get it wouldnt do. I did learn a few key phrases in advance, but Im an advocate of immersion. No better way to learn in any field than by necessity.

I would communicate in another language around others. There is absolutely no reason, in my mind, to make others comfortable or otherwise. Their level of comfort is not my responsibility. If someone asked me to stop speaking in a language they dont understand Id politely suggest they learn the language, if it bothers them so much not to know it.

Not totally sure. My husband is a 10H Taurus Merc and we communicate well. He is a 9H sun and our conversation is always fascinating to me. We bicker, though. I bicker with most people Im close to, haha. Not abut frivolous things, though. I love a good, abstract debate. Anyone who isnt afraid to voice their opinions, discuss mine, and not have hard feelings (if anything, theyd feel closer to me and vice versa) afterward is good in my book. Cant do small talk and absolutely cant with people who allow their identity and feelings to get all wrapped up in their ideas. Ideological thinking is my pet peeve. If I sense something youre saying is non-negotiable Im possibly interested in hearing it if it is a new perspective, but probably not in discussing it further than that with you. I dont like communicating with egos. Im 31, and I think this is a live-and-learn thing. I used to do it myself, and I grew out of it. I expect others to, as well.

Politics, Economics, History, Cosmology, Physics, Astronomy, Astrology. Almost everything. Seriously, there is nothing I cant get obsessed with (Pluto in 4H Scorp). I tend to get really, REALLY obsessed with something until I feel I have a thorough grasp on it, even mastered it, and then I will move on to something else, come back to it again and again, and so on. If you talk to me about anything Ive obsessed over before (it changes often, so this is a pretty long list), or whatever I am at the moment, I could go on with you for hours and hours. I love a good rant, I can listen to a well delivered lecture for ages, or give one. Live for it. If you bore me, though, Ill shut down totally and interrupt you constantly until I can steer the conversation into something more interesting.

I'm a writer (speculative fiction), if that adds anything else.

..I have quite a bit of trouble with calling people back. I sometimes just don't. I don't know why. (I really don't like talking on the phone in general)

Same with e-mails, i sometimes don't check my (personal) inbox for months.

We studied 3 extra languages in school (english included) so i speak four.

I'm also learning a couple other languages on Duolingo at the moment because i'll be going to these places soon xD

I wouldn't like to communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't speak it because i'd be paranoid some of them do understand it, lol
Also it would be rude in general i think.

Can't say for sure.. I feel like compatible Venus signs mean more to me in regards to enjoyable conversations.

No, I don't return immediately. Sometimes I completely forget to do it. But that's normal since I can't even find my keys and I drop the phone anywhere

3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable?
I speak 5 languages. I don't have a problem communicating in a different language around people who don't understand if everyone is friendly and in a relaxed mood.

I generally reply to texts and calls right away. You can always get me on the phone. Unless I'm not interested in you anymore. Then I'll do the fade away. And sure, sometimes I'll wait to reply if I'm busy or you've annoyed me!

Emails, only if they are short will i reply right away. If they are long and need detailed reply I tend to leave them for later then never reply.

I'm not sure. I don't check the charts of everyone I know. However, last BF has sun conj Aqua and I very much enjoyed our converstations about non relationship stuff. Relationship conversations could go very very wrong! :-0

1) My Mercury is a 12th house Leo Mercury conjunct my Ascendant. It is also conjunct Jupiter.

The other aspects are:

Mercury square Uranus (Scorpio, 4th)
Mercury sextile Mars (Gemini, 11th)
Mercury trine Neptune (Sag, 5th)
Mercury sextile Pluto (Libra, 3rd)
Moon square Mercury (10th house Taurus Moon)

2) I don't like to feel obligated to communicate just because someone wants to communicate with me. I tend to feel imposed upon by calls and texts, so unless you're my child, brother, sister, mother, 1 of my 2 friends (and this might be why I only have 2 friends- LOL), or my current obsession- you won't know when or IF I'll respond to you. Super selfish.

3)I only speak English fluently, but my extended religious family speaks Pashto, Ingush, Chechen, Arabic, Hasua, Bosnian, Croatian, Turkish, Urdu, and Mandarin. Those from south eastern Europe tend to share the same view that it is rude to speak their native tongue around a person who doesn't speak their language and a common language is shared. It must be cultural, because my Asian family just doesn't seem to give a **** ...In the end, I blame myself for only speaking one language. If my family spoke Arabic and English I would never speak Arabic with my family around and English (only) speaking person.

4) I've only had little time to examine this, but I am really impressed by Scorpio Mercury. 12th house Mercuries in any sign seem to understand my code.

5) Spirituality, sex, and children

oh, and I enjoy discussing taboo and uncomfortable issues. If there is something in someone's heart which makes that person feel separate from what is considered normal in society, I am the person to talk to. I am aware that my standards have evolved out of my own limitations and fears. I like facing my fears, and I like encouraging others to live their truth.
