quote: 1) What sign/house is your Mercury in and what aspects does it make to any other planets if any? (Please note if it's retrograde too)
12th Libra Mercury is conjunct my Asc, Sun, Moon. Square Mars, Neptune, Uranus and MC. Trine Saturn. quote: 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this
It depends on my mood and who the person texting or calling me is. I'm waaaaay more into face-to-face communication. I don't like texting. I forget about texts and calls a lot after opening the message but not reading it. So it's opened and I forget to go back and read it. After an hour or so sometimes even a day later I'll get back to the person. People always complain about never getting ahold of me or hearing from me. 😁 quote: 3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable?
Some Spanish. I graduated with Spanish 4 under my belt during high school and planned on majoring in it once I started at the University I was accepted. Time came along and I wasn't sure of what exactly I wanted to do with my life so I didn't go. I plan on starting nursing school this fall and a bilingual nurse would really set me above the others. I do love learning new phrases when I travel. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable if I were talking to someone in a different language and no one else could. quote: 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with?
Err, I'm not sure. I'm an outgoing person so I don't find it difficult conversing with anyone. I could talk to a wall if it talked back. I get shy, timid people to talk and feel comfortable around me. I have friends from every sign just about lol. I have no idea of their Mercuries but I'd say it's a mix bunch. quote: 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly.
Any and everything. Psychology, music, pop culture, clothes, hair, makeup, anything law related, history, cooking. I'm not as into politics as I used to be but would say politics. I'm very random and surprise even myself with the things I can go on and on about. IP: Logged |

I'm selective about who I get back to. For example some people talk forever and ask annoying questions. Or they talk really loud, etc etc. There can be a variety of reasons. So yeah, selective. Some I get right back to and a few I may not ever. I may choose to just do it later despite not having anything else going on. It can be them, or my mood, or the topic that I know they are calling to discuss. 3) I know some "bad" slang words in a couple of other languages. Well, some good also I suppose. I would love to learn but I'm far too impatient. I would speak my own language and don't mind if others speak another language around me. 4) I find Gemini moon (which is what I am) to be easy to talk to. Pisces mercury also. Very intuitive conversations. Otherwise, I've not paid enough attention to know. 5) I love teaching and learning. I can talk technical/mechanical things all day. Cars, etc. Animals is another one. I love to learn, study, and talk about all animals.
So I think DF is an awesome writer. I thought I'd bump this thread to pick on him. IP: Logged |

He is! Really great speaker as well! He's very good at keeping everyone calm. His Virgo stellium and Libra Asc are the culprits of his doubts. He never thinks he's good enough when he's so much more than enough! Sweet post, venus! IP: Logged |

1. mercury capricorn 24degrees in h4 i have a huge capricorn stellium in h4 saggitarius tight asepcts - mercury conjunct venus / mercury conjunct saturn/ mercury trine ascendant/ mercury opposition moon2. if i'm excited/ happy that day or hour i respond quickly but usually if a person contacts me, i take my time to reply days or weeks. i ignore half my of texts though... i have to be in the right moment for me to respond.. especially if it requires a lot of thought and then i forget about it or remember it too late... 3. i speak 3 languages fluently and i know a little bit of everything since i travel alot. i took a language course every year and i do buy dictionaries/ translators when i travel. i wouldn't communicate in another language in a group setting bc i think its rude.. but i have done it lols. 4. i get along with mercury in capricorn, heavily influenced sagittarius, and sun scorpios with ease. usually my best friends all have these placements. gemini ascendant guys are good friends of mine. my boyfriends gemini moon 5. gaming, traveling, food, recent news, memes, funny stuff/ shows, as long as i am interested i can converse for awhile. i love art history but i love entertainment so not sure what house placement it should be. have several astrologers interpret it as either h4 or h5. i love talking about my self. my family and friends think I'm so self absorbed and conceited but I honestly have to say I am just really curious. like i say things just to see peoples reactions to me. and usually im quite humourous so people dont really mind. at least not that im aware of it. i'm not drop dead gorgeous but eh :/ let us know ur personal observations etc. im rather curious since its my chart ruler lolols. Barbie, you should encourage him to go to a toastmasters meeting. It's like a public speaking club. I've never been but my public speaking instructor invited me. I do intend to go, and speak sometime too, I hope. Lol, I wonder if he'd (DF) ever consider it?IP: Logged |

1) Mercury in Leo in 4th Square Mars/Pluto Quincunx Neptune Opposite North Node/Mid Heaven Quintile Asc Biquintile Uranus conjunct Ceres 2) I return written messages/text/emails faster than phone calls. I generally don't ignore people unless they have done something to really make me angry. I've had people in the past complain I don't answer my cellphone but generally that's because I am busy doing something else. Gemini moon and all.... 3) Yes I can speak four languages including English, I'am always trying to learn more. When I intended on teaching abroad after college learning the language was my main priority. Not really but it would depend on the situation. I have had people in the past try to pull that on me because they assumed I didn't speak or could understand their language it was ok to talk about me and midway through their conversation I addressed them in said language. My motto is you have something to say be upfront about it. 4) I find it easy to talk to Mercury in Scorpio, Cancer, Aries and Gemini to be honest. People with Mercury/Pluto aspects as well. 5) I can talk about human rights, the occult, animals, art and food pretty much nonstop.

(Please note if it's retrograde too) Gemini mercury in 2nd house conjunct moon, square pluto-uranus in virgo from 5th house, sextile saturn exact, conjunct mars (in cancer wide orb) 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly,. i dont unless it is very important. i do return phone calls and message when i finish what i am doing unless i want to distract myself and use the message as a distraction. do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? i sometimes dont answer if i feel invaded, or the person expect me to be available all the time. i claim my right to answer when and if i want. it is a free world. my motto is only communicate when you want to... it is my right. but normally i respond to most people. but i notice that intruders are not my favorite poeple and i shy away of responding messages when there is a question i dont want to answer, sort of privacy invasion. i am very keen about my privacy 3) Can you speak any other languages? i speak 3 languages and learning a 4th now. i have mercury retrograde, so it is sometimes challengign. i have lived the last 10 years abroad dealing with languages... i like to learn languages as i can understand mindsets through it. i am not interested in learning words for casual travel. either i learn a language or i dont learn it. few words to impress the locals is not my thing. i am very plutonian in that sense.. (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? i prefer not to speak in a language others dont understand out of respect to the others. unless, it is necesary or i need to keep things secret.. then i will use a language that most likely others around dont know.
4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? conversation for me is the easy part. except in foreing languages. i feel shy sometimes about my second languages...
5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly.
i love psychology, sociology, astrology, i love digging, doing research. i need to find evidence for things i said (unless i state that is my guess) there is no mercury sign placement i particularly dislike, but sometimes sagitarious (when not balanced by some saturn aspecting mercury) tend to be too general and say things without evidence. i dont mean to offend anybody with this placement, but i have met some of them and this ****** me off. although there is broad view of things, sometimes they reach to conclusions without too much thoroughness. that kills me. that is the only feature i have noticed i dislike regarding mercury.. I have Sagittarius Mercury Retrograde in 6th Opposite Ascendant sextile MC (s.sextile Venus ses.square Jupiter s.sextile/parallel Saturn quincunx Moon)
I'll come back and answer the other questions but I'll get the ball rolling by just saying as far as Q.4's concerned, every time I'm fascinated by the thing's someone says or feel really refreshed and inspired in conversation with them and don't know what to expect it always turns out that their Mercury is in Aquarius. I'd go so far and say if everyone's Mercury was in Aquarius the world would be a better place (I know that would mean we could all only ever be one of three sun signs in that case however so.. perhaps not). The people I enjoy communicating with most often seem to have their Mercurys in Aries, Scorpio and Sagittarius (beside my partner who has her's in Virgo) Looking forward to reading responses

Sagittarius, 4th house, sextile Moon.
quote: 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this
It depends on who it is, what it is, my mood and what I'm doing at that moment. I often take my time though. Sometimes probably too much time. quote: 3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable?
I'm not a native speaker so English is on the list. I speak Italian and German a little bit. I used to know the latter better but by now I've forgotten like 90% of the things I learnt at school. I intend to improve my Italian and sooner or later I'll go for another language if I have time for this. I want to speak at least 2 foreign languages well. I'd definitely learn some words and phrases if I was to go to a non-anglophone country. The group question is difficult to answer. There are so many factors to take into consideration. Who are these people to me? Is there even a common language between me, my interlocutor and the rest? What is the conversation about? Etc. quote: 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with?
I don't have many observations but let's say Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra. quote: 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly.
Art, the occult, science. You don't want me to be more specific, that would be long

1) What sign/house is your Mercury in and what aspects does it make to any other planets if any? (Please note if it's retrograde too) Sagittarius 8th House. Conjunct Venus, Square Mars and a few minor aspects.2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this. I almost always screen my calls and call back within an hour if it's not important. I think that this is because I like to have a prepared response, especially if it's an important call or work related. I usually text back right away if an urgent response is needed. Often if I get a casual text I'll read it and respond later. It has to be interesting enough of a text conversation for me to go back and forth. I haven't had anyone come up and complain about such things. 3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable?
I don't remember any of the Spanish or little Japanese I learned in the past. But, I wouldn't care if a person and myself were having a conversation in a language no one understood. None of their business. I can say that in experience it is an annoyance if an unknown language is being spoken and your being stared at, like these people are talking about you. That's not cool. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? Probably Merc in Scorpio or Gemini. Libra as well, good listeners. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly. Music, horror films, astrology, dreams and aspirations. Just light and fun and exciting conversation. I just want to laugh all the time. I often ask people questions just to get to know their personality. Getting to know new people is so interesting to me, as long as they're nice! IP: Logged |

1) What sign/house is your Mercury in and what aspects does it make to any other planets if any? (Please note if it's retrograde too) - Leo House 2. Conjuct Sun in Virgo (7 degrees), trine uranus(I did not know I had this aspect prior to looking - this explains so much), square saturn, sextile venus, trine neptune, trine NN, sextile chiron. 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this -I do not ever purposely wait a short while before responding unless I need to look something up or check with someone else about something. I do try to return phone calls, emails, and messages as soon as possible but I do not check my phone as often as I should.
3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? -Not fluently. I haven't had the opportunity to travel where I needed to learn a new language. but I would try to learn as many useful phrases as possible beforehand.
4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? Air Mercury sign placements. Face to face and telephone conversation is normally easy and free-flowing. Written/text communication is not as free-flowing besides business emails. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly. I can talk about video games, music, entertainment subjects, astrology, money, and myself non-stop. I can also listen about said subjects endlessly (minus myself- I don't want to hear that. I'd rather hear about other people and learn more about their likes and dislikes).

If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? I don't do that, unless there is no other way. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? I don't think I can answer this question well, simply coz I haven't really paid attention to people's mercury signs. I have great prolonged conversations with my husband, and I really enjoy talking/communicating with him. He has scorp mercury conj MC/pluto, square asc/jupiter, sextile neptune. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly. Thanks. I'm naturally curious and I like various subjects, a bit of a lot of things. (Please note if it's retrograde too) Aquarius Mercury here in the 12th house. Non-aspected. I feel safe when I hide my secrets & thoughts from others. I love unconventional discussions, opinions, science, bright minds, being social, having many friends and have a thirst for knowledge. I'm a tiny mother Teresa too, if I could help all the people I would. Always interested in humanity. I usually get along great with Sagittarius Mercury and air or fire Mercury generally. Discussion is really important to me and I love people that have to say something. 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this I usually respond back, but sometimes it might take minutes or hours to respond cause I wanna analyze kai respond correctly what I'm thinking. 3) Can you speak any other languages? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? I love foreign languages, traveling the world is my dream. Unfortunately, I speak only my native language and English, I wish I had the money and time to learn more. I'm always willing to learn foreign phrases and find ways to communicate with foreign people. Being with a group of tourists is my passion. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? I wont give such details because I dont know much about aspect, or astrology at all.. So I opened my natal chart and in it says this about my mercury :
Mercury in Pisces Zodiac in 3.25 and sagittarius 11.20 underPlacidus Orb/value mercury is in my 5th house also says Sun Conjuct Mercury 1.16 My Sun is Pisces also at 2.09 My acs is Libra at 13.30 Oh, My moon is Pisces also at 14.03 Sextile Mercury Neptune Trine Mercury Pluto Square Mercury saturn so to the questions .. 2) I return messages/calls right away when I see them, unless it someone I dont care about then I make them wait or not reply at all because I just dont care 3) I can speak Italian and a bit of French, English is not my native but I am fluent in it. I can read German and understand it a bit If I am in a group where 1 person doesnt understand I would most likely speak English. its not up to me to translate all the time altough I would make an effort to know they are understanding me. 4) I have no idea what you even asked me lol 5) I can talk about music, movies, travel, animals, I am good at listening and giving advice in any subject. If it interests me I will talk about it, if I dont know anything I will listen and try to learn. Also I will never get into arguments over something if I am not sure I know a lot about it. I am known to observe and keep quite for a bit and ases everyone before I go into speaking mode. I like being quite and just observing at times. But I also love to talk, mostly when I know everyone, I can talk on and on for days.

(Please note if it's retrograde too) ~ 0° Virgo, 8th House Conjunct Sun, Chiron and Regulus Trine Moon Square Pluto Opposite Saturn(Rx)2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this Yes, haha I do this alot.. but I know how annoying it is and I hate when people do it to me haha so I'm trying to do this less often It just gives you that feeling of control and power.. but like I said it sucks to be on the recieving end of it. 3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable?
I speak 3 languages.. no I wouldn't mind speaking in another language in front of people, when I was younger me and my sister made up our own "language" to talk about people in the same room without them understanding haha 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with?
Gemini, Libra & Scorpio 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly.
Like a true 8th houser I love to talk about the darker things in life, taboo stuff! I hate small talk, feels so fake, I love it when I can have really deep conversations with people! IP: Logged |

Alright, I'll join in. 1. Mercury in Virgo Mercury in the 8th House conjunct Mars sextile Moon trine Saturn trine Uranus trine Neptune sextile Midheaven 2. I'm one of the most available people ever, which I've realized is one of my problems (might be the Moon and Neptune's influence). I almost always answer people's phone calls, even when I don't feel like talking, unless it's someone I really don't like, and always respond to texts. In fact, it's to the point where, if I haven't responded (which is usually when someone's pretty wrong with me), people get worried and start calling again. I, sometimes, am a little out of touch with texts in that I can not realize I have a new one until hours later. But, I still reply back. Now, I'm learning that it's okay to just not answer, sometimes. Otherwise, people can kind of suck me dry. 3. Well, I was near-fluent in Spanish in high school. I took it for three years and got A's on all my tests and assignments, without even trying. I was always amazed by that but then realized, when I got into astrology, I learned the language so easily from having such a strong Mercury. I've forgotten a lot of the language, consciously. But, I'm sure, if I picked it up again, I could get back into it. I'd love to learn another language some day soon. 4. Well, I LOVE talking to my fellow Virgo Mercury people. They're smart, good listeners, and usually witty. We usually have the same exact sense of humor. Gemini Mercury is pretty similar. Aries Mercury is cool because I have a lot in common with them because of the Mercury-Mars conjunction. 5. I could talk about movies and actors all day long. Astrology, too, of course. But, I don't specialize too much in one subject. I'm generally very talkative, as long as the subject is interesting. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

1) What sign/house is your Mercury in and what aspects does it make to any other planets if any? (Please note if it's retrograde too)My Mercury is in Gemini, thus domicile, and in the 8th House, which it also rules. It's sextile Leo Venus, sextile Aries Jupiter and opp. Sag Neptune. It's also conjunct the asteroid FORTUNA (orb 1°52). 2) Do you return phonecalls/emails/texts/messages instantly, do you ever purposefully wait a short while before responding then eventually do or do you have people complain about having sometimes not heard back from you? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this. My natural urge is to always pick up the phone (if at all possible) or to get back asap because if I don't, I might forget about it later (I get rather many messages and can hardly keep up). However, with time I've learned that's not always wise. So, while I still pick up most of the time, and always with some select people, and always get back rather quickly when I've missed a call, I've now decided on a sort of filtering system and in the case of very annoying and/or unimportant callers or of people who habitually take others for granted, steal other people's time or something like that, I tend to either block them, purposefully delay the reply, or don't reply at all. But that's a learned behavior, not my natural instinct. Same with mails. Here it can more easily happen that I unintentionally forget to reply, just because mails get easily drowned in a pile. Here I tend to prioritize business matters over private mails. I always tell people to mail me again if I don't reply within 2 or 3 days because that usually means I either didn't get the mail, or completely forgot about it. 3) Can you speak any other languages? (assuming everyone here speaks english)If you can't - when/if you travel does it interest you to learn a few phrases in advance? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? I grew up bilingual with two languages from unrelated language groups and am now fluent in altogether four. I can also speak/read two others reasonably well and have at some point or other acquired a basic knowledge in another three (which has however in most cases degraded due to disuse). Learning languages is fun and easy for me and I plan on learning a few more if I get the chance. I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows in their original language, and read books preferably in the language they were originally written in. About using a different language in a group setting – well, that actually happens quite often in my work environment, where we sometimes have situations where there's not even one common language shared by all present. This means it's sometimes unavoidable to exclude some people temporarily until someone can translate/summarize for them. In my bi-national family settings it's also normal that at some larger gatherings such situations can occur. While I do prefer that everyone present is included, and often end up being the one translating back and forth to make it possible, I do however expect people to be reasonable about it and to understand that it's sometimes not possible to understand every word spoken. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? Generally I find communication with other Air Mercuries the easiest, but the flow is also usually very good with Fire Mercs. The Gem Merc communication style is rather quick, and I do have some difficulty communicating efficiently with people who need a lot of time to formulate a sentence, who are repetitive, or who are very unclear in their way of expressing their thoughts. I do try not to interrupt them, finish their sentences for them, or yawn at them etc., but am afraid I've occasionally been guilty of all these bad behaviour types, especially when I was younger. Aries Moon is no help here. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly. Once I was forced to participate in a business etiquette course which included a unit on correct small talk. The trainer told us to avoid any subject that could generate controversy, such as religion, politics, child-rearing methods, health care, etc. At which point I exclaimed: "But that leaves me nothing to talk about!" Needless to say I hated the kind of "correct" small talk demanded from us at that course and wasn't able to do it well, as it seemed like a complete waste of breath to exchange meaningless banter on issues no one present even finds interesting (at least that's how it was presented to us). If I can choose the topic, I can basically talk about anything that catches my interest, and most of those topics are somehow 8th House–related. For instance, I love comparing notes with people who have adopted a spiritual practice, no matter from which background, and I don't shy away from darker topics most people I know are uncomfortable talking or even thinking about. 1) What sign/house is your Mercury in and what aspects does it make to any other planets if any? Feel free to go into as much detail as you want about this. ~I only don't answer my phone if I am genuinely busy, someone from work is calling and I don't want to take a shift, or I left my phone in the other room and didn't hear it go off. I only answer my phone in the car if I am driving in automatic pilot. I'm terrible with responding to emails. 3) Can you speak any other languages? If you can - would you communicate in one language with someone else around a group of people who don't understand the language in a small space or would you feel uncomfortable? ~No, but I do know phrases in other languages. Maybe if I had the kind of life where I traveled to other countries, I would be interested in learning other languages. If I spoke another language sure, I would speak it with that person. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? ~I enjoy communicating with Mercury Taurus, Libra, Scorpio, Leo, Pisces. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? 1) Retrograde Mercury in Pisces /10th HouseSun Conjunct Mercury Moon Square Mercury Mercury Conjunct Mars Mercury Square Uranus Mercury Trine Retrograde Pluto Ascendant Square Mercury Mercury Bi-quintile Saturn Merury Bi-quintile Jupitor 2) I don't like talking on the phone, so I prefer writing messages to talking on the phone. When I talk on the phone, my mind starts wandering somewhere and I become distracted and absentminded.I cannot focus on what he or she is talking about. In addition I am not good at expressing what I want to say verbally. I don't return phonecalls basically. If they are from my family or very close friends, then I return their phonecalls instantly. As for emails and messages, whether I write back or not depends on my mood. I have never intentionally delayed my reply. My friends are often worried about me because, according to them, I become suddenly disconnected... no reply from me, no post from me, for a while. Every time this kind of thing happens, they try to contact me so that they can make sure whether I am okay or not. 3) Can you speak any other languages? Including English, I speak 4 langauges. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with? Mercury in Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio. Of them, Retrograde ones are more comfortable for me. They understand what I am trying to say perfectly. On the contrary, those with mercury in earth signs especially virgo don't understand what I am trying to say and they often ask me to clarify what I am saying and this really annoys me.
5) I can listen to almost all the subjects as long as I am interested in them. I could listen to the subjects I am not interested in but my mind would be wandering somewhere. I can talk about someone's life, mind, spirit, feelings non-stop. For example, today I just had a great conversation with my friend about what her family might have felt about her life, and what I would feel if I were a member of her family etc.. and how things might change from now on etc.. This is also true of movies, music and dramas. I can talk about how the character in a movie might feel when it happens, or what kind of emotion I have when I listen to the song etc.. Through this kind of conversation, I can make my friends cry :P They are somehow often moved by what I am saying. Me? I have never cried by someone's remarks :P

It really depends on the situation but when I feel uncomfortable to talk about something I will usually hold off until I think I can talk "properly" and without trying to offend the other person. I sometimes will ask for second opinion of my wordings to my friend or family if it's an important message.lol. Such libra moment there. 3) Can you speak any other languages? Yes, I am bilingual and I am always interested in learning new languages. I can speak a little bit of French too. I do pick up on languages quick especially in written format. 4) Which Mercury Sign placements (or aspects to any of your planets) do you find conversation the most easy with, free-flowing or liberating with?
Other Libra mercury people were easiest to talk to since we kind of talk the same way. 5) What types of things can you talk about non-stop? What subjects/things get you going? Wherever it's something you can talk about endlessly or listen to subjects on endlessly. I can literally talk about anything and everything from recent news to what I did that day, about astrology, about religion, movies, etc.

Thanks.
1.) Mercury in Virgo, 6th House (Leo on cusp) *Mercury Quincunx Uranus *Mercury Sextile Mars *Mercury Trine Jupiter *Mercury Trine Midheaven *Mercury Square Pluto *Mercury Square Ceres *Mercury Quintile Vesta *Mercury Bi-Quintile Saturn *Mercury Bi-Quintile Neptune *Mercury Septile Pallas *Mercury Decile Chiron *Mercury Decile North Node *Mercury Sesqui-Quadrate Moon *Mercury Sesqui-Quadrate Juno 2.) I return phone calls and texts instantly, most of the time... 3.) I speak Spanish fluently (I'd like to become fluent in Mandarin and Hindi as well). Sure, I don't mind speaking Spanish around people who don't. 4.) Generally, I have the most free-flowing conversations with Mercury in Capricorn, Taurus, Libra, and Aquarius individuals, but I find conversations with Mercury in Fire signs to be the most enjoyable. 5.) Music, art, physics, mystical/spiritual/existential subjects, astrology, psychology/sociology, global issues, history, trends in technology, the future, movie films, sex, psychedelic experiences, psychic experiences, baseball, martial arts, etc. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the kind words about Mercury in aqu. 1) Mercury in Aquarius. Opposite Mars, Square pluto, Trine Moon. 2) It honestly depends on the person and the situation. Sometimes I do purposely wait a little while, but I'm trying to stop doing it because I recognise I'm people pleasing. If the message is boring or unexciting, sometimes I'll ignore it for a little while. I really do try to be as consistent as possible though as it's something I really value and I hate the idea of being flighty. I've never been accused of consistently not replying to messages though, I always get there just in time 3) I can't speak any other languages fluently, but I have been known to pick up accents with extreme ease. I feel like I'm the kind of person that would learn a language really quickly through immersion, but I suck at learning in a classroom and that's a fact. 4) TBH I haven't experienced the full range of Mercury signs, but I do tend to have great conversations with Mercury in Libra. 5) Definitely music, astrology, spirituality and philosophy.
