I am very intuitive, pick up on cues others miss and feel things out easily. I am very compassionate and a sucker for a sad story, I am the girl that always ends up dating that misunderstood or unconventional guy or loner or rebel or black sheep in the family etc...the girl that dates the guy that inst well off and maybe a bit lost but has a lot of potential that may or may not actualize some day...

I am very compassionate and feel drained when I hear traumatic events but I have learned to let my sun in virgo protect me and keep me strong so I stay focused and do what I have to do and help how I can and then disconnect.

I am sensitive but also very strong.

My husband has moon in cancer perhaps later I will write a bit about that. What we have in common is that we are both sensitive, sweet and caring...we both are attached to aspects of the past and can be nostalgic.

I could relate to a lot of this. I'm ashamed to say I didn't have the spine to stand up to bullies back then, but what I did do was hang out with those being bulled (usually for being different) and let them know that they had at least one friend and supporter. And I was basically immune to peer pressure. I got through all four years of high school without having sex, picking on or making fun of a single person or smoking a single anything. How is that being easily influenced?
Can't stand prejudice, either. I basically feel that hateful, prejudiced people shouldn't exist and have no problem with telling them that. The claws can definitely come out, but maybe that's my 8th-house moon.
I can drown in nostalgia and definitely my love for the underdog has led me into some questionable and self-destructive situations. I am slowly learning that empathy needs boundaries and can't be applied everywhere because then it will come at your own expense. I've had to learn the hard way that maybe the guy with no friends isn't JUST lonely and in need of compassion and someone to prove to him that everyone deserves to be loved, maybe that's actually a huge red flag? The problem is I imagine myself in their shoes and want to help.

Same.

I forget, sometimes, that I am rigged almost like a Scorpio moon.

It makes me shudder a bit as I am a little afraid of them. But then...

quote:
Moon in Scorpio people radiate strength. Even in the absence of experience, they seem to "just know" things. It would be difficult to shock or scare away Lunar Scorpios in the face of emotional honesty and power. Some people instinctively want to lean on them, and other less brave folk run a little scared.

...People have been afraid of me, before, too. I definitely accept all displays of "emotional honesty and power."

I've concurred there is absolutely no difference.
Signs of the same element essentially share the same characteristics. There are only specific features of the signs that become difference, which when you realize it there is really no difference as these subtle aspects come from the element of the sign

To me that is standing up to bullies, doing that takes courage and it sends a clear message you don't let bullies or popular people dictate who you can associate with or who you will be nice to. There are different ways of standing up to things you find unfair so thanks for doing your part in your own way, that is valuable.

I find it amazing that so many pisces mooners have responded so far.

This is our safe space.

Boundaries are a challenge for us and mean/negative people are a no go too.

I've hidden myself away at any sign of discord during many family gatherings in the past.

Of course, the dysfunctional family shite stirrers never quite understood that which caused them to comment on my aloofness. All I was doing was protecting myself.

My guy is pisces moon in his 5th, opposed his Mars and t-square with his Saturn(his moons only aspects)
His Moon opposes my virgo Moon in my 12th, my Moon is unaspected....so I can be pretty sensitive to.
We are both libra AC...his virgo Sun, im saggy Sun

I would have thought he'd understand my sensitivity as I understand his....but it seems he doesn't. Instead he gets weighed down and overloaded easily. Then I get overloaded but try not to let it get to me by trying to intellectualize it, which half way works at first but takes me a day to feel ok again.

I guess because of the virgo energy of my moon I can intellectualize his sensitivities and try to understand them in a way that allows me not to get as sucked in and let them become my burden.....maybe he can't?

What I've learned is I need to be the more emotionally strong one for us, he can only go so far before he gets lost emotions and once I start feeling lost in emotions my moon starts intellectualizing everything to come up with resolutions so I can bounce out of the blues. He can't do this can he? He only appreciates my intellectualizing his emotions later, much later. Lol...days if not a week later he says you really hit dead on with why I feel the way I feel.

Leading to my next question...You guys don't get over stuff quickly either do you? You don't open back up, like me...within the day of making up I'm back to normal and pick up where we left off...being just as in love and mushy as always.

He's taking much longer to open back up after a miscommunication that led to him overreacting and saying some mean things. We've made up and everything's good but he's still somewhat distant and acting standoffish...I'm not sure if I should go back to being just as sweet as we always were and wait for him to feel ok or if I need to be standoffish like he is being.

I see this side of him, this look in his eyes when he's totally open that is so much like a child saying please don't hurt me...it's cute, sweet, endearing and I love it but it leads me to wonder can pisces moon be strong for other ppl or is there ability to be there for others very limited before they go into overload?

Gabby,

We can be strong for and fight for others. I don't know your ages, so I can't really lived with his Moon long enough to sort out how to protect himself.

Don't keep bad news or your not so happy feelings from him. Stay gentle and empathetic. You Virgo people are actually lovely to us Pisces people. Back on topic, you keep the ugly from us, we won't develop our boundaries. Shielding us will keep us from evolving.

My 7H Moon has taken a beating by less considerate, oafish people, but I learned some lessons.

You have an opportunity to help him manage his Moon. Like I've said earlier, this Moon is a blessing to others, but a detriment to the owners.

Cancer is a personal water sign. So Cancer Moons are focused on self care and personal well being just like the personal sign Taurus. ( Cancer Moon is domicile and Taurus Moon in exaltation). And the well being of those who are personally woven into the fabric of their lives. They tend to only care about those people. Empathy doesn't extend beyond those people really.

Pisces Moons feel for everything ( Universal Water Sign) and are under the influence of almost everything in their environments, but even the unseen. Pisces Moons care about people who they don't know, animals that aren't theirs, insects and the whole gamut. Pisces Moons feel all emotions in a situation and have trouble differentiating and distinguishing which ones are theirs and which ones are other people's. Cancer Moon is much more self aware.

My blood type is Pisces Moon. I'm O neg and am a universal donor. However, I can only receive O neg.

This is what being a Pisces Moon is like.
