Hahaha, Love it, great illustration and very true.

My partner is 0 negative too but has moon in cancer and just made a joke about how he did not give his blood permission to become altruistic when I told him he is a universal donor.

About a couple of hours ago I was finishing up in helping my Pisces moon BFF and we finally moved some bags of recyclables to where they can be picked up on Monday.

I'm in front, she's behind me (it was a narrow path between the side of the house and the fence) when the automatic light comes on and there was a huge web just inches from my face with a HUGE spider (not quite the size of my hand but getting close) and I jumped back startled with a squeak.

Ms. Pisces moon was surprised that I'd do that and then she made a louder noise as she saw the spider with a huge web, dropped the bags she was carrying, and grabbed my shoulder telling me in a fearful voice to do something about that web. So I pick up the nearby rake and go up there and she says emphatically, "Don't kill it!"

Don't worry Pisces mooners, I was very careful to cut away the web so that it fell against the fence and the spider looked unharmed.

I didn't ask Ms. Pisces moon how the spider felt about losing her web that she no doubt put a lot work into as Ms. Pisces moon might've started rending her garments in guilt.

So scared of it and FOR it.

Reminded me of this thread.

I never kill bugs- maybe this is the Pisces moon in me. If I see bugs who are flipped over wiggling their little legs frantically, I'll take the time to get a stick and flip them over so they can go on their merry little way.

My aunt is a Cancer moon and she is adamant about not killing any spiders in her house. She scoops them up with a napkin and takes them outside.

I HATE killing bugs but I do it because they get into the house...actually just earlier today I was squirting the countertop with cleansing spray and there were some little ants there that I was...gulp...((killing)).

One of my children walked in and asked why I looked so sad.

"Because I LOVE ants."

It's like I'm not fit to be living in a house.

PS I love mice, too.

One of my closest friends has Venus in Pisces and she's a neat freak German with a spotless house except, she actually keeps a spider under one chair because it looks so happy there, it's so well-situated and everything, she just adopted it. The cobwebs are coming along nicely, I'm told.

Well you can see right there why we are friends.

pffft

I don't kill bugs in their territory.

In my territory, I have no problem with it.

NONE.

But it's a jungle down here.

Hmm, I guess it's a literal boundary issue for me....

Funny because I've always dreamed of being homeless, imagined how great it would be to live under a sliding board in the park or just a cardboard box...like I only wanted the barest whisper of shelter...with all the critters coming and going, you know.

For a long time I would say that Robinson Crusoe was my favorite book ever, though I've soured on the theology of it since then...and I've wanted to live off grid, and/or in a tiny house, or on a boat...

Still want to live on a boat, mainly on deck or in and out of the water, not in the cabin, that's how I envision it.

I'm just now seeing this as a Pisces moon thing. I want to blend into the world without barriers.

ETA:

Back to the boat thing...

My family does have a boat, though we aren't on the water much, and when we are cruising along at a good speed, my mind actually starts to come alive in a way that it never does without being on the water and in the wind. Old memories come out of the woodwork complete with their original sensations. Makes me think I have a genuine psychological need to sail.

I think that exists and sailors know it, that's why we pay so much money for it and deal with all the endless wear and tear on the boats, not to mention the safety hazards. It's just about seeking that peace...and greater personal completeness...out on the water.

Oh now I'm desperate to find an old co-workers chart!
I killed a beetle once and he was SOOO angry with me!
He called me "barbaric".
I was almost too stunned to yell at him back, almost. LOL

Edit:
Interesting. Birth time unknown but he was
Cancer sun, mercury, Venus
Cap moon.

Go figure!

That is how I feel about it too, right on!!

My mom has more issues with killing bugs and she is a Capricorn with Jupiter in Pisces.

No, Cancer isn't more mature. Nor are they less moody. Cancer doesn't itself hold the 'flaky' attribute.

Very generally the difference is that Moon in Cancer people are normally more in touch with their feelings even if they feel a bit conflicted, but Moon in Pisces types are more often uncertain/unclear of their feelings partly because they can absorb others' emotions with so much bleed-in that they don't even realize.

Also Cancer is more practical than Pisces which tends to idealism.

Astrochologist and Kannon are bang-on with their interpretations, I think.

Scorpio and Pisces moon are so different that it's weird that we're even in the same element, to me.

I have a Grand Water Trine with 11H Cancer Saturn ( Cancer SN is all grabby on Saturn from 10H; you can imagine my fun.), 3H Scorpio Mercury, and 7H Pisces Moon. Oh, just for kicks, this trine forms a Kite with 9H Taurus Mars.

I won't even get into the 3 Yods.

I understand ALL the water signs; both the good and the a*&hole traits.

I'm also a Virgo ASC. Damn Moon is at a wide (7-8 degree) opposition to the ASC. I don't go that wide with orbs, but this a luminary and an angle.

I'M SO CONFUSED!!!

I think all of the moons have bleed-in, it's just how the native handles it that differentiates, that is how you could see them all being in the same element.

My daughter cries for bugs also. She found some worms that were coming out after I had my house sprayed. She would make a house for them and they would lay there.

Unfortunately they would die and then she would cry. I just tell her that they were so lucky that she found them and gave them a good life

Oh no, fireopal

I'm fortunate...never had to go to a funeral for someone who committed suicide. I think it would be almost unbearably sad.

Your water trine and kite are lovely. Mars sextile Saturn...one of my all-time favorite aspects.

Aww...

Well it occurs to me, that I ought to clarify that I don't always hate killing bugs. I am relieved to kill mosquitoes and other "pests"...though sometimes if I only maim them first, I get a pang of guilt.

Cancer Moon here!! And late to the show!!

I'm still reading through this thread so bear with me. While I agree with some of the statements so far, I'm a little taken off guard by several of the Cancer comments.

I do not feel that Pisces Moons are more "popular" than Cancer Moons at all. I do not feel that Cancer Moons are mean people. I do not feel that Cancer Moons "only care about their kind" and tell everyone else to kick rocks.

Can we be mean? Absolutely, if given a reason to be. But we certainly don't go around bullying people or snubbing them. A Cancer Moon will sit back and observe before letting everyone in - which some people will mistake as us "being cold". But once true interaction has taken place, we're the warmest and most caring of the bunch! Once you've got us as a friend, you typically won't find one that is better! We're often claimed as someone's "bestie". Lol.

And that's when our "popularity" rises and we often will end up being "the heart" of a group. Whereas the Pisces Moon who was popular initially "on the surface" is now sitting off to the side while Cancer does all the work! Pisces is still well-liked, though. But as you all mentioned before...Pisces seeks a general connection to all, whereas Cancer wants to build real, solid, foundational connections with other people -- But even if you aren't in our "circle", we still care about your well-being and will sincerely help you out as long as you aren't draining us. We do have boundaries! And Pisces struggles with that.

Both Pisces and Cancer are deeply intuitive. Both sensitive beings. Pisces is the one that will sit and listen, cry for you (in the moment), then donate a check. Cancer will give you a giant hug, cook you dinner, then go beat the sh*t out of whoever hurt you. LOL!

Pisces is wishy washy, I cannot lie. But they are quite sweet people.

Cancer is sometimes moody. Duh! But we are there when you need us the most and we will nurture and protect like NO OTHER.

LOL!

Makes sense. I've learned not to waste too much of my energy fussing over people and things that don't really matter.

When I get moody, I just need some space for a little bit. And your genuine care & concern once I do come and open up to you about what I'm feeling. If you can do that...we'll be just fine for the most part! There are far more pros than cons to having a Cancer Moon in your life. If they are constantly flipping out on you, believe me - you are definitely doing something WRONG.

Peace, Comfort, Safety - I must have that in my home or we're going to have a problem.

Scorpio is so different from cancer too in my opinion, but I guess they have more in common than with Pisces. I almost feel like Scorpio should have its own element. I actually think Scorpio is more encompassing of all elements than Pisces is, even though Pisces is supposed to be the all encompassing sign. Cause scorpios are equal parts, fiery, feeling, logical and steadfast.

I guess the "shell" that cancer the crab and Scorpio the scorpion has (and Pisces lacks) can be representative of the boundaries you talked about and that wall people have to get past to get to know the real us. Pisces doesn't have that so they easily let things in, but also just as easily let things go!

I have a Pisces moon family member who treats other people the same as she treats her own children. Everyone loves her and her kids love her because I guess they grew up not to be possessive of their mothers love. I'm not a mother but I definitely care more about people in my inner circle way more and they get special treatment. I'm a cancer moon.

What an odd thing to say... Pisces moons accused of throwing money

at problems to make them go away?

Getting involved is usually one of the pitfalls, and something we

are notorious for doing... often to our own demise.

The only *suffering* I treat callously is the person intentionally

wallowing in the useless mire of self-pity.

It's a dangerous thing to entertain.

Just saying.

I didn't mean that as a negative - donating money. Nor am I saying that that's all you care about.
