Couldn't agree more with this MAPanda. A high quality organic BB cream is the heaviest I get with foundation these days (I absolutely love Asian brands - Korean BB creams are amazing, lol). Looking after the skin is the single most important "beauty tool" for me.

Sooooooo guilty of this, lol (Scorp Rising). I don't wear a lot of eyeliner in my day-to-day makeup now, but until I graduated college that was pretty much the ONE beauty item I could not be without When I do my makeup for special occasions, I almost ALWAYS do a smokey eye.

It's all about the eyes with the Scorpios it seems

Yeah, I am a fan of korean BB cream too currently using the Missha perfect cover one, and it's perfect on a level I couldn't even fathom. I simply use a primer under because it doesn't hide my pore as well as I want it too, and have to hide the shine by a matifying powder, but the feeling is soo soft and loveable and finish is perfect, I don't even look like I have something on my face

I love makeup.

I wear it Monday through Friday. I love enhancing my features. I don't contour. I try to give my skin a break on the weekends.

I'm a big fan of red lips, but it's not really a "day look." I also love eyeliner when I want drama.

I usually wear Primer, Concealer, Foundation, Power, Blush, Eyeshadow, and Mascara. I have so many lipsticks, but lately I have been using lip balm.

I have a sparkly, green eyeshadow that reminds me of money. Ka-Ching. My fav.

Gemini Rising
Aries Sun
Scorpio Moon
Venus Pisces
Aquarius Mars

Ever since I started school full time in the early childhood program. Make up pretty much has gone out the window for me.
I feel like I end up wearing make up once a week lately.

I'm way more into doing my hair. I choose making time to do hairstyles over make up. Plus if I style it, it stays clean longer. Good for when school gets very demanding. Things like running errands, being active outside, going to a bon fire. Just doesn't seem worth the effort for me. Plus it's summer. So things like camping, and swimming make it not worth it too.

When I'm at the boyfriends place, there are times where I think we are just gonna chill at his place, but we end up going bowling. I have full time student hair going on, have intern clothes on, and no make up on my face. And I'm like aw crap, I don't want to look like this to go bowling. In my hygine bag I keep at his place I have a tube of sheer purple lip gloss. So I at least have some kind of beauty boost for those sudden fun plans, and then getting drunk at the bowling alley helps with getting over not looking the way I want to.

My boyfriend cannot stand the noticeable make up look. Heavy black eyeshadow and eye liner, and noticeable lip stick. Around him I often keep it subtle or bare. Not to please him, but because spending time to put on a full face of make up wont get me good grades in school. Priorities. If I do black eye shadow or dark purple lip stick I feel like I am dating the make up police! LOL He notices, and he will be like "why are wearing make up?" He pretty much tells me he is use to me with out it, and that I look fine with out it. I even tried to be sneaky. "I bet if I blot this dark purple lipstick, he wont notice...hehehee...!" NOPE, BUSTED!!

I feel like a lot of guys are like this in general. But the way he goes about it is interesting. He is a triple Virgo. Studies show that a majority of guys like when they can't tell a girl is wearing make up.

Then my Scorpio ex would pout if he SAW me put it on. And would say stuff like "make up makes girls look ugly, I don't know why you're doing that" However one time he didn't SEE me put it on. I did black eye shadow and he said "whatever you did, you look really good." So he likes the look, but he doesn't like the idea that women don't wake up looking like that. Ughhh!

New bf couldn't contain himself when I wore black eye shadow. "By the way, I'm not a fan of the make up look" after dealing with ex I was pretty surprised. I was like "it sounds like you actually mean it." haha

And then another ex who was triple Cancer threw a fit if I put in any effort to my look at all. Even painting my nails. But he was kind of controlling, I truly knew it was because he was insecure and didn't want other guys to look at me, and would accuse me of wanting to look good for other guys.

But when will guys realize we don't always wear it for them!?

It's an outlet, it's an art form, it can be a confidence boost for my damn self! I make sure I wear it for women I need to impress too. Like on job interviews. Or meeting his parents for the first time. Not saying wearing make up to impress a guy has never crossed my mind either. When guys say something like we shouldn't bother to look a certain way cause they don't like it, have no idea how conceded they sound when they say that. Like everything we do to our looks is just for them?! Really?! It's 2015! Do they like when a woman tells them how to look!? Let me step off my soapbox now.

I like to try different make up looks sometimes.(as long as I'm not painting my self blue like an avatar that's a whole other level) But usually if it's a day where I feel like I should be wearing make up for something casual, I stick with concealer, eye liner(pencil,) bronzer, mascara. Sometimes with the addition of lip gloss, if if I need to look more dressed up.

BTW I haven't bought make up in since my early 20's. I have plenty, just want to use up what I have, and declutter. I get it as gifts sometimes which I'm fine with, or hand me downs.

Once in a while I'll go all out with a kimmytoxic make up tutorial. I like a lot of her ideas. A lot of it is goth, or super colorful.

I've made my own lip balms before, even made some with colors.

I have a Capricorn Mars after all.. so I'd try to control myself.. count to ten.. breathe.... think: "Maybe there is a good explanation for this.. Maybe his mother didn't love him enough.. Maybe he mis-spoke and it's all a big misunderstanding... Who knows?" - and basically, do all those things you do when you get incredibly angry lol

But - once such a negative comment was made re: makeup... he would probably see a side of my personality he had never before seen - and it might scare him a little (for all my attempts to calm down).
So, this could actually spell "the end" of a relationship for me

Good question.

I first apply concealer, especially a lot under my eyes, because I have dark circles (sleeping problems). My dark circles make me look like a raccoon.

Then I apply mineral powder all over my face, and then some bronze around my face (I like a little tan, NOT ORANGE).

And if it's for a more special event I apply a little bit of eyeliner on my waterline and highlighter under my eyebrows and on the cheekbones and a bit of blush.

And I usually wear a baby pink lip gloss. I do not like dark lipsticks that much.

I'm not really a fan of the vintage look. (Like Taylor swift or Lily Collins makeup). I like the more... similar to Victoria secret makeup kind of look. (Like Adriana Lima's makeup look).

That's it. But most of the time I don't wear makeup. But I apply a bit of concealer around my eyes before going outside because sometimes I find my light (greyish) eyes contrast strongly against my dark circles can kinda make me look intimidating (Scorpio Mars) lol. (And also sleeping problems).

I have Pisces ASC, Libra Moon/Venus. And I will let you guess my sun sign.

I will still get glammed up now and then. I like saving the full makeup and hair looks for special occasions - there is usually much more of a "wow" factor that way, plus it makes the event feel so much more special to me. Nowadays I only go crazy with my nails. They are always wild colors/designs...something bright. I like the contrast

That's main reason I made my own lip balms a year ago.

Same here! Special occasions, I like to go all out with the make up and hair. I did that for a rave last weekend!

I love makeup! I've been kind of obsessed with it lately. I'm always trying contouring and new techniques. It's an art to me, but I also don't feel good about myself without it.

Venus/Jupiter would make someone wear "too much" makeup, just because they tend to exaggerate all things Venus.

Moon/Venus would make someone's emotional wellbeing somewhat dependent on how they felt about their physical appearance, which would give them more of a drive to care about things like makeup.

Venus/Chiron would make someone insecure about their appearance, and would make wearing makeup sort of like a tic to assuage that insecurity.

Venus/Pluto would mean someone who takes a lot of pride in their appearance and may be somewhat obsessed with it.

Venus/Ascendant would simply mean the person presents themselves in a Venusian way.

I have all of these.

Yeah I pretty much say "okay I understand, but I am going to do whatever I want. It's my face, and I'll express myself how I want. I like to switch it up sometimes. Don't worry, you'll see me with out make up on, I'm too random to wear make up all the time, or not wear it all the time."

SO, while sharing your Rising, sun, moon and Venus (and any other aspects you find important on this matter), what is your particular relationship with makeup
Do you apply it daily? or just on occasion? never?
Do you go at it heavily (contour, highlight, foundation, the "all kit", etc), medium (foundation, noticeable eyeshadows and/or bold lips) or light (gloss, light shadows and as little as possible).........

Well, from the the experiences of others shared here, I have astrology doesn't play much role in makeup. But I've found the places where we are from do. Generally speaking, western females like/have makeup more than females from China mainland. It is more common to see girls have makeup in western countries, but in China mainland, you will see most girls don't have it.But I admit this situation will change because more and more young girls start to have makeup

A long time ago I went on a date with this guy I just met, and before the date he told me "oh yeah, don't wear any make up. You're fine with out it" WTF I wore coral lipstick and brown mascara anyways. A guy will never dictate what make up I do and don't put on my face.

It's true. So many men think victorias secret models dont wear makeup. They dont understand what contouring is.

They dont see eyeliner as makeup. Um... nobody's eyes just get darker around the eyes. Human skin pigment doesnt work like that! Not to mention that a lot of women wear "natural" makeup that is designed to look like they dont have any on.. Lip tint. Gloss. Mascara. Tinted moisturizer. Oh no man can tell the difference between no mascara and heavy mascara lol. Also if you look at most eyeshadow palettes theyre designed for looking natural. All neutrals.

So when they say they dont like makeup... theyre saying they like the no makeup "look"

AMEN!!

@Meatballzzzzzz - Please teach me how to put on makeup!
-----------------------------------------

I would probably wear makeup more if I knew how to apply it properly. On a typical day, I don't wear any makeup. I'll go through phases of wearing mascara and lip gloss. Sometimes also adding noticeable eyeshadow or thick eyeliner.

When it comes to lipstick, contouring, foundation, etc -it's like a mess on my face.

Of course she did...off the clock. I certainly don't expect them to know all the details of modeling but surely they'd realize a lot of work goes into making her look a certain way (often with a professional crew) and that's before the photoshopping and such gets used. It boggles my mind that they don't.

I have never really been into makeup much, but I do love lipstick. It is the only thing I wear everyday and I love flitting between different colours. I have a ridiculous amount of lipsticks!! At any given time, I carry about 4 different ones in my hand bag ^_^ On special occasions, I sometimes wear mascara also.

Libra ASC with Venus in Virgo in the 12th. Venus is also parallel my DSC exact. (Maybe makes me more Venusian?)
Leo Sun (11th)
Capricorn Moon (4th) conjunct Neptune, IC, Saturn & Uranus

Other aspects:
Sun square Pluto
Venus apex of a t-square with Uranus and Jupiter (Venus-Jupiter is known for overdoing it!).
Venus semi-square Pluto
Venus quintile Chiron exact
Moon trine Venus

My attitude towards make-up has changed a couple of times since I was little. Loved playing around with it as a kid, then suddenly went through a rebel/tomboy phase as a teen where I shunned anything girly and what most girls my age would do (such as make-up!), then after mum took me to a spa for the first time when I was 18, I came to like pampering and beautifying myself again. Now I'm obsessed with cosmetics and make-up, with checking for beauty advice, checking out new cosmetics. I just love, love, love it and it was just fantastic when I got my first girlfriend in college who was also into these things (I hung out with a lot of tomboy gals - Aries DSC probably).

As for how much I wear... I used to wear a lot and not feel confident without it. Adolescent/college time was hard - I just had to look perfect all the time to draw out a little confidence in myself. But then I had to undergo a couple of life-changing surgeries when I was 23 where of course, you're not allowed to wear make-up in the operation room, and I'd feel too sick afterwards to even do my hair for a long time, recovering. And that openend my eyes to that hey, I don't look that badly without make-up and my hair all done!
Now I'm much more happy with my looks and will leave off the make-up when I'm tired or in a hurry. I LOVE doing it, don't get me wrong, but it's not a priority anymore.

When I do wear make-up, it depends on my mood and how much time I have. Light for me is powder, some lip balm/gloss/nude lipstick and sometimes bb cream. But when I want to, I'll go all out with foundation, primer, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, blush, lipstick with matching pencil, nails done, etc. I'm going through a lipstick phase right now, having come to love it, and I'm crazy about the Clinique Lip Pops! I want nearly all of them, lol (the ones I don't want I do like, but the colours aren't suited for my face, which is very pale). My wallet is thankful for that, LOL. My roommate and an old female friend from college both rave about MAC, and it looks fantastic on them, so they've definitely gotten me curious. Uh-oh.

Make-up is like art to me, and you're the easel.

I am not really a make up fan but I am CRAZY for skincare and haircare. It is utterly important for me to have nice, healthy skin and beautiful hair! That's where I splurge myself.

Most of the time I am not wearing make up, just my daily skincare natural products (moisturizer, eye cream).
I usually only put make up when I go out: mascara, eye-liner, concealer (I have dark circles due to sinus), lipgloss or lipstick.

I am trying to up my game now and learn to play with eye shadows, I have natural big cat like eyes with long lashes and I have a cousin who is ALWAYS annoying me to try them! I am finally giving in just to try!

Ah and I usually always do my nails too, but I rarely go to a salon. I do my manicure myself.

Scorpio ASC conjunct Saturn
Venus Cancer in the 8th
Sun in Leo
Uranus in the 1st in Sag
