I do not believe in society where people haven't had any transactions knowledge and somebody then blames them to be selfish.

So for me sometime nobody is selfish and to really push it maybe somebody would be really selfish when

1) I have made clear of what I expect for whatever I have done, many
don't.( I haven't in the past)
2) They are unable to do it because some things are out of their control. ( It is my turn to understand)
3) They refuse to even try to do their bit even when they can't. (Again it is complicated sometimes people want you to just take your own personal responsibility or making you learn lesson. like a parent shouldn't always try to help a child when they are failing to walk.)
4) At the end of it we all are selfish and sometimes I am glad as long as people are able to take care of themselves then they are doing great ! Because sometimes what we expect from others we wouldn't be willing to do it ourselves.

Yes, but I can definitely see how people are doing "give and take" transactions without my knowledge can be extremely angry and hurt. So I am weary of anybody helping me unless we both know we are getting something out of it.;-)

That is what Aries are doing innocently or perhaps cleverly.
I have bought a book called " Give and Take - Adam Grant and if that changes anything.

We have been taught to think that people who give without expecting anything in return are at risk of being exploited, or burning out, but the truth is that they are often the most successful people in any given field.

Why givers - not takers or matchers - are life's most successful winners.

I guess I can understand when one feels they have given too much but I believe be smart enough not to keep giving now if it is making you unhappy and if they blame you back by saying you are selfish then they are just being manipulative, Ignore.

I do not know that many Aries Sun and Moon. I am married to Aries Sun cancer Moon so I think there is bit of understanding there. I do not think he is selfish. Other Aries women seems to be not very great at keeping relationship going on. My sibling has Aries moon and I think he is selfish but then again as long as he knows that he should be giving I feel my job is done as I am not sure I would be able to give back if he helped me as he thinks he has helped me lots in past- which I don't think. I guess that is the problem everybody gets so caught up in who did what and who gives back what? At the end everybody feels guilty and **** about themselves. I guess for me then it is are they going to be able to have same sort of understanding if I understood or free from their obligations or responsibilities.

Aries by its very nature is selfish. It is the FIRST sign of the zodiac, ruled by mars, and as such, it's me FIRST, me, me, me. Understanding this has nothing to do personal experience of people, it's a matter of understanding astrological symbolism. An Aries moon and oftentime Aries sun person will put itself first most of the time. Will fight for first place and the biggest piece of the pie. will fight those who stand in his way. Will be quick to give orders, and will balk at taking orders.

I agree, while some Aries individuals can be selfish, it's normally a very innocent selfishness. Not malicious at all, just not thinking.

That being said, I have a cap moon and have been told by my family that I am selfish. And I can be. BUT... I also have been told that relationships don't work for me without me taking care of self (SUN) first. And this is so true. It's an issue of security. When I am insecure, this can manifest in selfishness of material possessions or emotional security. The older I get, the more secure I get in life, so this selfishness is dissipating.

It's been true of me before. I don't think it's true of anyone, all the time.

I've been trying to grow food for my whole family, I cook for them. I sleep on the floor most nights, with my dog. We finally got an air mattress. I don't know how I'll get to England to see my aunt, when I can't leave my dog for long.

I also end up feeling like a bouncer at times. I've had people ask if they can use my name, essentially - where I'm known to be a good, solid, trustworthy person. I stand up for others, too. I help strangers. I try to be understanding of others, and where they're coming from - to the point where I've been walked all over. Mum used to like it when I finally got angry over things, because she thought I put up with too much from people.

Okay, I believe you. As I previously stated, you may have some aspect that mitigates your natural selfishness. that doesn't negate the fact that Aries by nature put itself first.

Angelina Jolie is a perfect example. She has moon and Jupiter in Aries. Yes, she goes and does all sort of wonderful things for refugees and children (Cancer ascendant), but in her private life, she has no problem going for what she wants without worrying about how it affects others.

I agree with you. Yes Aries is selfish in a childish way.

What I've noticed is that this type of selfishness works fine for Aries when they are young. But as they are near or at middle age, life (or Saturn) starts to force Aries to become less selfish, to think of others more. What was cute in an young person is not cute in an older person.
