When it comes to love, is age just number or do you have a limit? Would your compatibility/synastry with the older/younger person change your mind? Why or why not? What is the biggest leap you would be willing to take in order to find true love?

All answers, opinions and experiences are welcomed!

I'm rarely attracted to someone my age or younger, (I'm 19).

Right now my current boyfriend is 12 years older than me (tbh we have some of the best synastry I've ever seen, very harmonic)

If for whatever reason we broke up, I would cap it at 7 years, honestly.

The youngest I've ever dated was someone two years younger than me (our synastry was mostly just elemental matching)

Goes without saying, but I prefer to date older. However, given the experience I've accumulated, I'm not comfortable with the shift in the power dynamic the older one goes up the ladder in age. There's usually a lot of red flags the older person has that the younger person hasn't been taught to recognize as something to shy away from just yet, and oftentimes the older person dates further down the ladder because they recognize that precise naiveness.

+1

Who knows? Maybe that correlates with me, also. (Maybe).

as a venus in capricorn conjunct uranus/neptune, I dont think I would consider anyone more than 8 years older. Generally dating my own age group is better, just because of the power dynamics as said above.

Also the generation before me has pluto in Libra and that's opposite my moon. Not fun for synastry
.

In my teens it was 2 years

I strongly suggest you all stick to that. However, if you do feel like going through a soap opera and crying over it for the next few years - of course, that's your prerogative...

I don't know if I have a limit.
Sometimes you just don't notice the age difference when you have a great synastry.
At the moment I'm seeing someone who's 11 years younger. To be honest, it's the way our souls connect that age doesn't even factor into the equation.

The most attracted I have been to any man was someone 27 years older than me. 5 years on and the attraction is just as powerful. I can't even describe but before him I had never been attracted to older men. They had always been attracted to me. I'm 24 now but I was 19 at the time. 🔥🔥

I'm 32 and currently date a 26 year-old. I dated younger people before, as well as older. The oldest I've considered was in his 50s (early 50s!).

An aspect between Venus and Saturn accounts for being either attracted to younger partners or being the younger partner.

Men who have Venus/Saturn are usually into younger women.

Women with Venus/Saturn are usually the younger woman.

I feel Pluto also plays a role in this to a certain degree too. Maybe I will try and expand on that a bit later.

Also, I feel Neptune can too, in the right circumstances.

I think Saturn SEEMS like a planet that would get into relationships with age gaps, however, I don't think it is that simple with Saturn.

Gem Sun, Pisces moon, Virgo rising, Gem Venus, Aqua Mars

The oldest I've been attracted to was 20 years older than me. An Aqua guy. Just utter Aqua foolishness. That's the only time I've been attracted to someone that much older than be, besides teen crushes on celebrities.

The oldest I've been in a relationship was 10 years older, a Gem guy. Never again. Men in that age group have their Pluto squaring my Venus and yep, this relationship was very abusive.

I prefer to date men within 5 years my age, but I will extend that limit a few years for guys younger than me. Honestly, I prefer younger guys. It's a Gem thing I guess. Younger guys are far less to be patronizing and condescending towards me and they have better outer planet synastry with me, especially if their Pluto is further into Libra.

But older? Yeah baby-***breaks into song**

No no

No no no no

No no no no

No no

I'm 51 (and a guy...)

My age exactly generally doesn't happen. My Moon and Mercury both T-square outer planets, so someone too close to my age shares the outers and gets the squares in synastry. Can be rough if you're not used to it.

When I was younger, I used +/- 5 years as a rule. Now I'm open to perhaps 10 years (though the right lady is welcome to try to make me stretch that). Though I do find as someone born on the cusp of baby boomer/gen X that younger ladies are a little more likely to share some interests with me than older ones. For instance, Science Fiction, Computers, geek things... Gemini-ish things.

OTOH, I've done my share of being the younger. Venus trine Saturn, Asc trine Saturn. I think they can make me seem more mature.

Outside your teens - when you gradually become an adult, and you've been through certain things in life - then yes - "age is just a number"

I mean, there are exceptions, as is the case with everything in life.
I remember you saying your mum was 19 and your dad much older when they met and it worked out for them...
But I see that ^ as the exception, not the rule.

Honestly, I just don't want you to get hurt!
Please be careful Leo-Cancer

I love older men (Capricorn stellium and 7th house in Capricorn and my limit would probably be 10 years probably, but I usually date people who are 7 to 8 years older.

At this age I would not date someone who is younger as I need a mature man lol

I don't have a limit, I don't care at all.
I Intensely dislike younger people. I've been with someone 2 years younger than me and I was scarred for life.

Most recent one was 14yrs older but I dumped him.

Oldest I fell for was in his sixties but he's pretty hot.

Older men never gave me any drama. Guys my age are idiots and control freaks.
I'm 26.

I mostly have attracted younger women. 10-15 years. One was 16 younger and one 18 years younger.
I have attracted only a few within a few years of my age either way.
Older women 10+ years older seem to be highly attracted.

I'm not really sure what astrologically points to this. I do look a lot younger than my age.

As for a limit.
Hmmm... I suppose about 15 either way would normally be about it.
