I did, that is how I was able to fall so deeply by letting go completely..perhaps the lesson is about the consequences of letting go too much, finding that balance.

But it's a karmic lesson about loss in my case too and to be specific dramatic losses, different types too...

My definition of love is always, always being there. Not overwhelmingly, but never leaving. Staying by the side of the person you love no matter what is happening or how human, imperfect, whathaveyou they may be.

Just reading all the responses one after the other including my own and seeing all the different perspectives had a very positive impact on me.

Romantic love is a great high and is very addictive, its a drug that you think will fix all your problems and bring you that long awaited happiness but that happiness is illusive. True love is the goal.

I have been so obsessed with romantic love and the loss of it that I have been taking for granted to some extent the gift of true love which has been by my side for a long time now.

Its ironic that romantic love and the desire for romantic love is precisely what gets in the way of true love which is what we ultimately want.

I feel like a new phase of my life is starting bc my mind is completely shifting and letting go of toxic perceptions and thinking that hold me back and letting the past be in the past. If something is not part of your life any more it means is no longer suppose to be, it served its purpose.

As you get older you lose your looks but you are given the opportunity to gain wisdom, peace and self acceptance and that is priceless and more valuable.
