gemini to me is mostly about restlessness and a desire to be always on the move (both mentally and physically), a thirst for knowledge (in quantity not necessarily quality) and a refusal to get in depth (mostly to due a lack of the ability to focus)

gemini people
they fall into 3 groups

first decan geminis
I haven't met many, but surprisingly I find them the most stable of all other geminis..they're very intelligent and tend to focus their energy on academic or financial achievements...pretty stable in their relationships and friendships as well...but still they're gemini, and they can change their minds a lot..because they hear a lot of things and can change their decisions or opinions a lot based on what they "hear" regardless of that being actually true or not

second decan geminis
I peronally find people of this decan quite sweet!...this decan has some libra-like traits...
they're funny and smart and very good friends
they are very focused on social life, so they may not be as great achievers as the first decan...they're nice to be around...but they can also be very gossipy and shallow...well all geminis can

last decan geminis,
these people are like aliens!...they have some aquarius-like qualities...
they can come off really weird or socially off because of the many amazing things that are on their minds all the time...they can be very erratic...they're perhaps the least reliable type of geminis...but like I said, they have a very unique and kind of philosophical mind and they can be very thirsty for higher educatio...they're the least focused on relationships and most on learning about almost as many as things as they can

overall this sign is a lot like sagittarius to me (I have been surrounded by sagittarius people all my life)....they both aren't very dependable...they say almost anything!...they're fun to be around and with them you will not be board...they're cool and adaptable and don't judge you (unless there's a prominent saturn)...they both find it hard to relate or be understanding when someone is talking about "feelings" and "emotions"...
sagittarius though is wiser than gemini, but gemini is the easier one to connect with and relate to

if the gemini person has a water/earth mercury, moon or AC, they can seem to be very different, but remember, they're still a gemini, and you should almost never believe a word they say (because the next minute they're changing it!)

He has sun ASC and merc in gemini (lots of gem) and I have sun, moon, mars in Libra. He seems a lot more relationship oriented than I am.

He has a Sag Moon though, so he definitely is airy with a dash of fire.

Very well said. I ran out of soap today but I had lots of toothpaste. So I showered with toothpaste.

Ironically I'm debating if I should finish another degree in Physical Geography or Enviromental science as its 3/4 completed before I left to do another degree in something eles.

I've met lots of sweet Tarrus women in that program, Leos too but there just in it for the "shinny" gemstones, with tarrus there more humble and at peace with nature.

They'll enjoy doing earthy things that are simple and non competitive like gardening, canoeing or simple a hike. If it were an Aries they'd turn into a competitve sport.

I don't act out my gemini energy to the full extent I think. It surely may be because they are opposite saturn, and he keeps that energy at bay in very short reins. Also they are in 10th house, ruled by saturn so thats that.

Emotionally I do feel and act out my gemini moon in many ways, for ex I like to talk about my emotions. But being oppo saturn, I do feel and act a lot like a capricorn, more so then gemini.

Also I can be very nasty with words, using my tongue and words like a sword when I get upset, irritated etc (moon-mars in gem), and I usually hit the spot by intuitively knowing about a persons deepest fears, regrets, insecurities etc. It just comes to me when I'm mad for ex. And I will always always regrett things that I said in haste or in anger!

Anyways, other then that I have lots of earth in my chart, also virgo asc and highly plutonian and saturnian so 'm quite a serious gemini. But yes I'm very chatty, if I feel emotionally safe and accepted. if not, I will be very quite and reserved.

My twin brothers have gemini suns. They don't act out that energy that much either. They have virgo asc and moons.

But I have a family friend who has a doughter in her 20nies. I don't know her well, I just have met and talked with her in different family setting occasions. She is IMPOSSIBLE to connect with! I have tried but she can't focus on you for more then 2-3 min, then she will redirect her focus. I can for ex ask about her school or work. She will enthusiasticly talk about it and maybe ask me one or two things. And then she will be off to something else. She is like this with everyone, even her family.. Very restless, all over the place. Irritable but happy go lucky etc.

I can't stand this kind of people, I'm as said plutonic, I need to have a deeper one on one conversation to be able to feel connected at all. And I'm earthy, I need stability, never mind my gemini stellium, I can't with extremely airy people, but then, I don't think anyone can. We all need all 4 of elements balanced.

I would describe it similarly to a combustion engine. If the gears are in sink you have an brilliant engine, otherwise everything explodes.

Yes thats true. But I find that placement makes them more tactical with "emotional manipulation".

Correct me if I'm wrong and I won't take any offense as I have no emotion invested in this .

I reason that most Cancers are a victim of circumstances then they pounce on the opportunity to make themselves look like the victim.

But with Cancer Mercury they plan and set themselves up to be the wrong place at the wrong time and play the victim.

Theres a difference between "it happened...thats part of life" and now I want everyone to feel sorry for me versus planing to be a victim in the first place.

Alright let me clarify, on the surface we do have things in common such as the way we were both raised, values and shared opinions.

The big kicker is she needs a work friend that's in her corner and I need one two.

We talk about other and trust each other but beyond that....nah.
