Poor Gemini always gets a bad reputation.I'm a triple Virgo (Sun/Mercury/Venus) and double dose of Gemini (Moon/Mars). I'm a Pisces ASC too. I will admit that 9 times out of 10, consistency in friendships is not a quality of mine. I usually have to find an emotional connection with a person in order to feel connected enough with them to be a loyal friend or partner. If I have no loyalty to the person, I see no reason to go out of my way to make a relationship happen. I will chat it up with them in the moment and then move on to the next interaction. I don't shut that door completely, though. Because of that, some of my best friends have had to chase me around a bit before we connected and really clicked. Geminis are very socially intuitive. We pick up on a lot of social cues that other people are apt to ignore. Sometimes that means that we aren't able to keep regular friends because we're interpreting messages that don't sit well with us. I do think it's easier and better when Gemini is mixed with water or earth, though. One of my best friends is a Gemini Sun with his Venus in Cancer. He's a social butterfly in public, but has maintained the same friendships and relationships for years. His interactions with acqaintances are erratic but he would never dream of so much as having an argument with the people he really cares about. These are the types of Geminis that I like to be around. Also, when I meet a Gemini Sun female with water or earth in her chart, were usually friends for a long time. They're very emotionally intuitive in addition to being socially intuitive. I haven't been social much at all in the past 2-3 years, though. I've been sticking with my loyal Aries, Capricorn and Scorpio Moon friends. IP: Logged |

I should have included this in my previous post. But here is an excellent example. I'm at my sisters for Christmas, normally I call her foolish for having too many kids, just because of the financial costs. But her kids have grown on me and I'm easing up a bit. It corresponds with what I was saying about Geminis with earth/water aspects. I've changed my mind on them.

I get what you mean. In general, I think gemini women are quite different from gemini men. My friendship with the girl lasted years - we were friends since high school and went to college together. When things were hard she used to complain about it then ignore me. It happened many times, until one day I thought "You know what? This is over". With the guy it was very different. Things happened fast and didn't last long. Even when we were together, I was never totally happy with him. I didn't trust him at all, and I had the constant feeling that he would leave me. Even though Sagittarius is known for being short-tempered, I can tolerate lots of things from people I like. When they cross my limits, it's over permanently. IP: Logged |

I did have great times with both my friend and the guy I dated. Geminis are funny, smart, quick thinkers. But at this point, I prefer having stability rather than thrill in my life. IP: Logged |

I liked my friend a lot. She's a Gemini sun, I'm a Sagittarius sun (opposites). She's a Leo moon, I'm and Aquarius moon (also opposites). She was a great friend to hang out with, but I had to keep things superficial to avoid the drama (that I described previously). She had lots of problems with her family, husband and work, so I tried my best to be understanding and kind towards her. I usually don't interfere in people's personal lives, as I appreciate my privacy/freedom a lot, but when she had trouble I was the first to lend a helping hand.Apparently, she took it for granted.

This is actually the sign(along with mine) that got me believing in the validity of astrology. This sign(along with mine) has always been the easiest to spot. One Gemini with Taurus Moon that I know has his dependable sweet Moon mask the mischievous nature of his Sun. People think that he is so dependable, stable and "safe". Little do they know Another with Cap Moon(and involved with a Scorpio/Pisces Moon) has an austere external nature that wants to be taken seriously. His Gemini quirks comes out with his tendency to laugh/be completely oblivious to the sensitivity of a situation. Or say something so cold and cutting. I always think that Gemini will always have their one foot outside the door. They always will want to keep options open and look out for "better". You'd have to be the most spectacular person ever to keep their genuine interest for long. IP: Logged |

The best guy friend I ever had was a Gemini. His sun conjunct my Mars. I never dated him, he came to my wedding...we lost touch but I'm positive we could pick up where we left off. Great person, loyal and consistent friend, 0% annoying. IP: Logged |

Wow, it's hard for me to even gather my thoughts properly to try and explain this sign (and I am a Gemini - speaks for itself!).I think the rest of chart REALLY influences the true character of a Gemini. They sort of "are" who they are...if that makes sense? The less air influence, the less flaky, it seems. I agree having a water moon makes a BIG difference. I too have a Scorpio Moon and am verrrrrrrrrrrry sensitive, almost obnoxiously so. The people who mean the most to me have the biggest impact, positive or negative. I think that's the key. Geminis have a knack for seeming superficial because we can breeze through a situation or encounter seemingly unaffected. We can draw a mental line and decide if it's worth diving in deeper. My Scorpio Moon makes close relationships a hugely sensitive area of my life. I really invest 100% of myself into them and am very loyal. I consider myself a very strong person and can take a beating from pretty much anyone except my boyfriend, my best friend and my parents. If I feel slighted by them or if they criticize me too harshly I take it VERY personally, when others may have just brushed it off. It's true I can seem a bit flaky when it comes to other types of friendships/relationships, but again it's because they are not as impactful. I am guilty of what someone mentioned above - dipping out and then reappearing as if nothing is wrong. I am horrible at maintaining more than a couple close friendships at a time because I keep my circle very small. Even with extended family members, I tend to only "check in" with people from time to time but am terrible at keeping them really engaged for any length of time. I don't find this offensive and find it odd when others get upset with me because of it. I will then try to sweet talk and charm my way out of the confrontation until we've made peace but then the same cycle of dipping/reappearing continues. I just don't like to be FORCED into doing anything that I don't want to do, especially with people that don't hold that special piece of my heart. There, that's another good way of explaining it. I know this rant probably makes no sense (typical) but it's hard to put into words the justification for a Gemini's wacky behaviour! It sounds cold and callous but a lot are capable of great loyalty and depth if they let you in IP: Logged |

Talking about the things Gemini is and isn't is a topic larger than one thread. Specifically Gemini guy Sag gal... There's going to be a lot of "back and forth", "give and take", and friendly banter involved. Expect ups and downs, and maybe in again, off again. The signs are opposites after all. But there's going to be a sense of adventure along with a bit of a sit-com feeling to it all.IP: Logged |

The problem is that Gemini is your opposite. It's easier to date a square. Opposites usually represent people we clash with, but like to adore from afar. They have all the traits we are lacking, which is why it's hard to understand them. Sagittarius's breadth of knowledge and wisdom spans much wider than a Gem. But Gemini can relate and communicate effectively, and dazzle people with their wit. Sagittarius wants to teach. Gemini wants to entertain. When you're at opposite ends of the spectrum, the best thing you can do is learn from one another.IP: Logged |

I have 4 sag placement and attract Gem easily.I met him at work and, yes, lot of ups and downs like hell. In my two years relationship with him, this is what I have learned and found: if he disappeared, 100% he found something more interesting out there than dealing with you at the moment. In my case, the only disappearing phase that I realized was if he started the drama (like accused me cheating on him or made silly arguments from his negative thoughts or just played "against something" with my faith written in the bible/theoretical proven), things got intense and he had "a reason" to run away, so the blame was with me. When he disappeared, he came back to his ex gf, err, his long time gf eventually. Or if he broke with her and me, he found another chick. His disappearance had always been looking for another chick, I had proven. I know, I was dealing with immature Gem. When I read astrology, I decided to avoid a relationship with Gem influences, but everytime I was close with someone I forgot to check astrology, and ended up the longer relationship I had was with Gem sun and Gem moon/venus. My sag placements likes Gem for their ability to adapt quickly, to openly flirt with words (I can't do that so I admire their ability), lighthearted and charmingly get away with people in a sec. It's better to be their best friend than in relationship, I can not handle any longer inconsistency of their words and actions, constant confusion and instability in relationship, but within friends I don't really care about it because I'mma butterfly socially. I also have 4 placements in Sag! (including Sun). What's your Sun sign? I can relate to everything you said. I used to think he was wh*reish, because he was always around girls - his "friends", but it turned out they were really just friends (who he treats like his sisters). He tends to date just one woman, and stays with her for a relatively long time. I was never jealous or anything, I just kept my (male) friends. When he vanished then came back, I usually gave him the could shoulder...if I treated him the same way he treated me, he got puzzled and tried his best to get me back. We had just one relevant argument, over something really stupid. I toletared tons of things I didn't like about him, but it took just ONE mistake of mine to make him leave. IP: Logged |

I did want to be friends with one. But as a Taurus I don't like the inconsistency. I'm not sure what's up with this Gemini guy. He's been saying that he wants to hangout with me for two months now. Well I told him that I think he's just toying with me. And I don't know why he ever asked me to hangout to begin with. I know Taurus and Gemini aren't compatible so I just won't bother anymore.IP: Logged |

Don't put much effort into this, just let it happen. Meh, I've seen geminis settle down with Tauruses countless times. I'm supposed to be compatible with them but we look like Tom and Jerry chasing each other. Funny someone dug up this thread. We openly hate each other nowadays, still sometimes he asks me out. Go figure. IP: Logged |

HAHAHA! I don’t know why it looks like a lot of people on the internet hate Geminis. I think they are pretty cool, fun-loving people. Yes, they’re not the type of friend you can count on (unless they have Cancer planets), but they’re more the type to bring variety into your otherwise stagnant life. My bf has encountered a Gemini girl who had a crush on him and did the exact same thing your ex did. She stared at him when they first met but didn’t really initiate conversation. Her Sun is conjunct my bf’s venus. She did try to flirt with him though when they started becoming friends. She didn’t know he was taken, so I didn’t really care. She stopped when he stopped entertaining her. I have two Gemini friends, both male and female. They are really chill people, not the type to start sh*t. I like their variety in taste. My female Gemini friend has a bomb playlist. She can go from hardcore metal to rap to acoustic French. It’s pretty awesome. My male Gemini friend is a little feminine. He likes Shawn Mendes and Bruno Mars or any artist that has dramatic songs. But he also has Sag moon and I can see that side of him more dominant than his Sun. He can go from being philosophical to being a pop culture junkie. I love it. I’m never bored with these two around because there’s always something to talk about despite the square to my Virgo mercury. The only thing I don’t really like about them is flakiness. A lot of times, they will cancel last minute on plans. They also can get distracted way too easily and that’s why they disappear from time to time. Not the type to hold grudges either. They feel like fresh air blowing in your face. IP: Logged |

Their oh-so-different behavior is not such a big deal when you're different, too.Don't get me wrong, I do like them - my 2 bffs (women) are geminis and we never had trouble. It just happens I became completely apathetic to gemini guys (as I said: no big deal), as they're very predictible and a lot of work. IP: Logged |

They are more in touch with their emotions, more compassionate, very sweet, they get attached so have more staying power, a lot less flaky. All my gemini clients so far are lunar geminis with either moon or venus in cancer and one time sun conjunct moon. It made me see geminis in a very different light. IP: Logged |

Yeah he's always been nice towards me people with Cancer placements are sensitive too. I find that Cancer men are too sensitive. I bet it's because of Moon in Aquarius and I don't have much water in my chart only Venus in Pisces IP: Logged | |
