Topic: Your thoughts on Geminis

Hi there!Geminis have always puzzled me. I'm a Sagittarius, and my relationships with them are always extremes - even with friends. It goes from love to hate in a short period of time. There's this Gemini I was dating last year (we work together). He was the one who started it - staring at me, talking to me, flirting. We dated for a few months, until we had a huge argument - that ended when he blocked me. I've been ignoring him at work since then. Two weeks ago - a year after the last argument - he came back out of the blue like nothing happened. Even when we were together, it was full of ups and downs - sometimes he vanished for days, and always come back like nothing happened.
It's not very different with my Gemini friends (women). They also vanish sometimes and they are not that friend you can always count on (leos   ). From what I know, Geminis do have a bad reputation, in general. What are your experiences with them? IP: Logged |

Gems well the ones I know are a bit obnoxious in a cerebral way. But I love them we get along great! They are always so much fun and just funny SO FUNNY! they think quick! Gemini falls in my 8th/9th house. I'm a Libra so its expected..if they have an earth moon its even better they are practical, air moon <3 or fire moon..can't deal with water moons too much emotions blaaah. I'm a Cap moon. You have to look at the Moon. I have a Gemini Sun, Merc and Venus but a Cancer Moon, so am not Gemini like in my heart lol------------------

People with a lot of Gemini energy don't really keep anyone around permanently, they fall in and out of fascination with people very fast.Its a mutable sign, mutable is very changeable and kind of all over the place, doesn't always seem to feel things that deeply. If you like people who don't change their minds every five seconds and will always be around, yeah, you'd do better finding someone whose chart is heavily "fixed". IP: Logged |

Hi prettyinpink,He could be running away when times are rough and reappearing once the "waters are clam" Gemini is known for always finding ways out of tough situations. The Scorpio moon could
make him more intuitive to sense bad situations before they happen and the Gemini part would make him run. I once got out of a job 3 months before everyone was let go, I figured that based on logic and some intuition I'd assume he would be a lot better then me. IP: Logged |

I agree with Spongebob due to my sensitive Cancer heart.Well, for the women Geminis they are super inconsistent and almost seemingly bipolar. The ones I ran into would be so kind and seemingly sensitive and generous and then flip so fast that you have whiplash to the nastiest temperment? When you try to discuss what the hell happened they are clueless. Are you serious?
For the Gemini men, quite the vain talker and they say just about anything. I tend to like people to keep their word so fixed signs are my cup.

Exactly! Most of the time, if I told my friend something and needed help, she would give me generic advice, at most. And relate my story to her problems. And talk about her problems for hours.

Sometimes as a gemini if you see this happen, then this means that you probably said something to turned them off. Gemini is all about communication and we hold on to words so much! And also, we pick up on social things! We can also be passive aggressive, especially with the people we cant tell how we really feel. As a gemini male, I hold on to my words a lot! If I dont have anything to say, I wont say it at all. I'm also fixed and air dominant. I do change my mind a lot though! IP: Logged |

No, not a Gemini. I am a Cancer. The ups and downs being around the Geminis I have been around is upsetting when they have the flip out sessions and then act as though nothing happened. quote:

I too hold onto words and but that's where Geminis I have interacted with fall short. They talk but the follow through..not so much. The integrity is lacking. quote:

But you see - it's all about Gemini. He does what is best for HIM, doesn't matter if someone gets hurt. Still, I think Geminis are very intelligent people and I admire them for this. I just don't get involved with them anymore. IP: Logged |

Well, you have honestly described my friend's hubby. She loves him and calls it bluntly as she sees it. He's very handsome and a great conversationalist. I think he is wonderful to chat with. But he is selfish, the wife said so not me. Are you sure the intelligent part is not mixed up with being able to talk their way out if things which is a gift just not honest. Listening to a friend's problems is part of being a friend. I guess she wants to be a fair weather acquaintance. Look I have one friend who will tell you every last detail and drama. Think how long one is listening for. That is part of the friend package-making time to listen to each other's woes as well as good times. quote:

Mostly I don't have any thoughts on/of them at all.
They have to force it on me.
Now that my progressed ascendant has reached the 8th degree of sagg , they are like everywhere once I know who they are/ that they are Geminis. I suppose because that sign IS/was on my 9th(far away) so I did not deal with that energy much. For me they were always from another planet and they are now invading mine,  but haven't gotten close to my state of mind fortunately------------------

It depends on whats on the rest of the chart. See I have a Taurus Venus so I tend to be slow but once I make up my mind I stick with people I chose. The Geminis that have way to much air I will avoid, I consider them a bunch of "loons". There too looney for me. Try to looks for some earth in there chart. IP: Logged |

Geminis are undefinible, changeable, difficult to grasp (from my point of view at least). They are intelligent and they can even be pedantic at times.
