It seems like Gemini's are only good for flings and casual sex anyway. They aren't really marriage material.

The bane of my life = generalisation via sun sign astrology. It's as prejudiced as any other generalisational assumption.

Myself and my best friend from school have lucky enough to discover our true loves are witty, vivacious, funny, and deeply loving Geminis. ♥

Hmm..I wouldn't say that's the case. I know a few good friends who are 2nd decan Geminis and they all are pretty relationship-oriented: either married, have kids, love their partner, in a LTR/serious relationship etc. But I guess there are bad apples for every sign

What about the 3rd decan?

Well, for the women Geminis they are super inconsistent and almost seemingly bipolar. The ones I ran into would be so kind and seemingly sensitive and generous and then flip so fast that you have whiplash to the nastiest temperment? When you try to discuss what the hell happened they are clueless. Are you serious?
For the Gemini men, quite the vain talker and they say just about anything.

I tend to like people to keep their word so fixed signs are my cup.

I'm a Gemini woman and I treat people the way they treat me. I'll be nice to someone, but if they mistreat me or are rude to me, then I will turn fast. It's funny how people (not necessarily you) call Geminis bipolar when in reality they are merely reacting to the behavior and words of others. No one expects a Taurus, for example, to be sweet when someone crosses them. Yet, Geminis are held to a different standard. We are apparently bipolar because we are mean to people who are nasty to us first. Sorry, we aren't pushovers.

I don't make promises unless I know I can keep them. People who break promises on a regular basis have an issue with integrity. I've seen this problem more with fixed signs for some reason.

I've been told that they lie a lot and are not to be trusted.

I've experienced lie after lie, with a couple of earth signs. (people, not the sign in entirety.)

It's obvious that you are only saying this because you know I'm a Taurus lol but ok. Read about Geminis and see what other people have to say about them.

No, I'm really not. I didn't know you were a Taurus, and I love Taureans, actually. I've just had two destroy big parts of my life (and my self-esteem in ways), and then one I'm related to threw me over the course of a few months. That's stopped now, but damn, I never expected it.

Well all of us aren't like that I think it depends on other things. Like I have Venus in Pisces and that makes me caring. I guess I'm just use to reading all of the sterotypes about Geminis. I'm afraid to get involved with one for that reason. Someone here said that a Gemini will get bored with a Taurus so that makes me not want to get even bother. I do like one as a friend he's been really nice towards me so far. I really wanted to go to the opera with him. But I couldn't because it was a school night. I hope I didn't mess things up. I did tell him we could go out when I have a break and he said ok. I think it's the Neptune aspects that makes me like him so much.

I had different experiences with gemini suns, all I can say is that they're really fun to be around, my gemini moon feels stimulated with them around and we have loads of fun together.
Also I find them non demanding of me nor overwhelming me with expectations, which really suits my aqua sun, gemini moon.
My cousin is a gemini sun and when we are together I feel alive and entertained, we are partners in crime.

They're great to call when you just want some fun, but not so great if you need someone to rely on, been there done that.

Ironic coming from a gemini moon myself

Hey ChildofVenus,
In Tarot they are the Lovers. Suppose it might be the Taurus or Libra most aligned with marriage or even Mercurys other Sign, Virgo. I've known intimately a NN, Jupiter Gemini. He was very marital minded. And a good .. oh well the card.

I will admit there's two ways to me..hence my username.

Even as I type this I have my other laptop running.

I'm typing on laptop 1 and doing something else on laptop 2, I carry a dual laptop bag where ever I go.

Sometimes things happen like that on purpose or by accident. I found out my tablet PC couldn't run Virtual Machine on it so I needed a second.

I keep one for writing the other for things i'm unable to do on the other.

Even with the pandemic, I have the option of remaining in Place 1: Downtown Core or Place 2: Rural Country side.

I've been alternating between the two and "playing" the pros and cons against the other.

I mainly do things in pairs like that just to remain "diversified" take the best out of doing both and minimize the disadvantage of sticking to only one.

I think that type of thinking whould annoy most people who would prefer to "put all their eggs in one basket" and pray everything works out.

But so far its worked for me, keeps me able to react to things without being too surprised.

If you can find a Gemini that thinks that way I think there closer to a "text book" Gemini sun.

One of my best friends from high school was a Gemini, and so is my daughter. EXACT same dynamic:
Her: I’m bored, want to do something?
Me: Okay, as soon as I finish this chore.
Her: Okay, I’ll think of fun things to do while I’m waiting — here’s five!
Me: Option 3 sounds good.
Her: Or here’s 5 more!
Me: Sorry, I missed some of that...
Her: Are you almost done?
Me: ... Okay, done! What do you want to do?
Her: I don’t care, I just want company!
Me: Option 3 it is, then.
Her: And then all the others!
Me: 3 activities and a nap, that’s my final offer.
Her: BRB, I just remembered II’ve got one quick thing first...
Me: I’ll just wait right here.
