Actually astrology does not determine any thing,, it reflects WHAT IS.

That's weird, I've never heard that about Chiron. I don't know how that would work, really... Meh.

I'm trying to think of people I know with H8 Venus, besides my mother in-law (who was, admittedly, strikingly beautiful well into middle age, and is still attractive for her age, although she has had a facelift and boob job).

I always see these crap topics about what makes someone attractive. It's sad that some of you guys use astrology for self esteem lol.
It's the same reason why you can't guess someones rising sign by their picture.
edit: people would guess im a cancer rising by my features but if you were to actually meet me, you would not think that I was nurturing or a girl next door type. You would think aggressive and someone not to be messed with.

Funny that he and his mom both share the same placement, and both in Leo.

Yes, he is a very attractive man, and women are still attracted to him, even though he carries some weight now and is 44 years old.

I think lundan has a point I think whatever Venus touches is what you naturally attract. The House it resides in could be how you express it.

I have a lot of friends with Gem Venus ( I cant get away from them)

So if you had a Venus in 8th youd attract a lot of scorps because you treat love in a plutonian way. If it makes any aspects to Pluto youd be extra scorpionic with relationships/love

Sometimes the greatest beauty is not as attractive as someone with a "spark" and a special light to them.

When I first came on, IQ did a chart of a girl and said she was an amazing beauty

We happened to become friends and she sent me her pic and she looked like a Gap model, like perfect lol

Charisma im pretty sure is any Sun aspects, 5th house, and where Leo is in your chart, right? That would make sense.

So if you had Leo 3rd you'd communicate in a "sunny" way. Anything that the Sun touches gives you consciousness and creative ability with it but depending on the aspect is how you use it effectively. The Sun is a badass part of astrology. I wish it was talked about more but I think more humans act on their Moon (especially women) because it represents your unconscious, unaware thinking patterns. The Sun is your AWOKEN nature and talent. Celebirties have learned to activate their conscious nature at will, which is why they are so talented/loved. Healthy aspects to the Sun can make it easier for the person to access.

By conscious nature I mean your AWAKENED thinking process. Instead of letting your emotions/thoughts control you, you control them

Why so you think people who cant handle their emotions are called "luna-tics" moon = lunar

But a person with Venus in the 1st house will have an attractive appearance (unless their venus is in virgo, aries or scorpio), and someone with venus in the 10th will be known for being attractive, and if they're not that attractive, they will present themselves in an attractive way (they will dress nice, care about their appearance).

But venus in the 8th means that the person might have a low self esteem because they don't trust others easily, don't trust people's compliments. Their life partner tends to be wealthy. (8th house is the 2nd house turned from the 7th house).

That's all I know about venus in 8th but honestly a person can be attractive no matter where the venus is because venus has actually less to do with physical appearance, but more with self-worth, and trust and affection and social life.
