That was my experience. Actually I feel like I understand Cap better than any other sign, maybe everyone feels like that about their own sign, but as soon as I can tell someone's a Capricorn, I feel at home and comfortable with them.

I've never dated another Libra sun. I wouldn't be adverse, and it seems like a good idea, because despite all our differences we'd try to find a way to harmonize, aren't as inclined to be threatened by those of different beliefs and ideologies (can even find such differences intriguing), and understand the mechanics of trying to keep the Scales balanced.

For whatever reason, I've never been with another Libra sun. I've been close friends with some, and hated by 2 of them (later 3, though that was over something very strange and I'm not sure it counts, though I expect anything romantic between us would've been doomed due to that particular trait). For the most part, they were all very distinct from me (even an astro-twin with just different houses, I bet most astrologers would be shocked to learn we were born the same day in the same hospital), the similarities more trivial or subtle.

Offhand, a reason comes to mind why I've never been with a Libra sun romantically: we tend to be social butterflies (the one major exception I know had once been social before the world kicked it out of him), and there are always those who are aggressive in their hunt for sex and/or love to take the Libras fluttering about them. I don't pursue others that way, so my chances of connecting with a Libra sun that way (given the aggressive competition) are very low, though we'll easily become friends as I have with many. (Though the closest Libra suns I was close to were simply not possible or compatible for reasons not related to their sun signs.)

Strangely, 2 Libra suns (one an astro-twin) hated me immediately and passionately. It was one-way, but my Sag Mars-Uranus loved trolling them as their moral outrage over me was so over the top, and it was so easy. The second one was an old man, and in retrospect I'm glad I didn't give him a heart attack. At the time, how red his face would get with rage over the littlest things and he'd rant up a storm (he had an impressive vocabulary, I'll give him that) made it really hard for me not to laugh at the time (I was 19, and I was 15 with the other). But who knows? Maybe we just needed to get a room.

Revisiting this thread again makes me start thinking about Aquarians again. I don't dislike Aquarians, but often those my age are difficult for me to get along with. Perhaps it's because all the Aquarians I meet are February Aquas while I'm the good ol' January Aquarius that just is like "whatever".

I've never been physically attracted to an Aquarius ever. Mentally perhaps, but it's hard for me to have a good conversation with another Aquarius irl it seems :/

HOWEVER, if I were to count my exact conjunction to the IC with my Sun in the fourth, then it makes sense. I am extremely attracted to Cancers and have always been; it's something I've easily picked up on. I can never seem to get close to them though... *sigh*

I really do kind of feel this way.
I've never dated my own sign but I could see it working out just fine depending on their moon.

Well my Sun in Leo in the 7th makes me habitually attracted to guys with Leo planets. The first guy I ever loved was also a Leo. But my Sun is conjunct my South Node. So I definitely have to enter the relationship consciously because they can bring out the worst in me or make me backslide into negative patterns. However I also have the best rapport with other Leos and we get each other so well. It is also, in response to the op, anything but boring and monotonous.

At their best, Leo guys are everything I want in a partner: fun, confident, passionate, plenty of personality, a strong and distinct individual. I feel like someone with their Sun either in their 5th House or their 7th House would be very attracted to their Sun sign, in most cases.

I dated an Aries and it was kind of boring at times but exciting because he liked being out and about like me. It was like dating a male version of myself basically.

This is not true in my case. Libra Sun/Merc/Mars in my 5th house. I see Libra men as just friends. I never dated one and the only one I personally knew that I was attracted to was an astro twin born 3 days after me. Those feelings dried up when I was 13 lol. Only one Libra celeb crush too... ended when I was 17. I've seen fellow Librans as just friends ever since. Same thing with Leo men. Sun signs that I AM attracted to: Aries (house 11) Virgo (H4) Sag (H7) and Cap (H8).

I think maybe from a family or platonic friendship, but not beyond that.

I'm a 5th house sun and I really believe it would be more towards the type of children.

My niece is a Gemini Sun and..shes done a really nice job softening me up.

Seams more of a daughter to me then a niece, my sister has also taken note.

Normally I would be the type of guy that would say no to children...well shes changed all of that.

Shes 5 and she likes me because I know to give her the right about of freedom to explore, learn and ask question about the world while maintaining certain boundaries.

Something my sister wouldn't know.

I work with a 7th house Leo sun and she has a close relationship with her Leo father.

But, I doubt she could ever data a Leo male there too uptight a structured for her.

I myself couldn't date a Gemini female...
there either a "hoot" or "loney" just think of Cyndi Lauper.

What I have found is that I am very attracted to people whose Venus or Mars conjuncts my 5th house ruler Neptune. So maybe check what planet your 5th house ruler is and what sign is on instead of the sign your 5th house cusp is on. Neptune is my 5H ruler and people I fall for deeply tend to be neptunian types like moon in Pisces, Venus in Pisces or Venus in the 12th...

My 7th house ruler is Venus. I am attracted to Taurus yes but normally what happens is that I attract Venusian types period, like both of my best friends have moon in Libra and my husband's strongest planet is Venus as well as my Ex who has Venus in Libra and my partner has sun in Libra and Taurus rising. Further some people don't need Venus to mars aspects well I always have Venus to Mars aspects, my Venus and Mars conjunct so 1h ruler and 7h ruler conjunct. This always happens their 7H ruler aspects my Venus conjunct Mars.

So with me there is less focus on the sign my cusps are in and more on the rulers of the sign and their energy and how they interact with their cusp rulers.

With someone who was my lover his 5th house ruler was Venus in the 12th and it conjunct tightly my 5th house ruler Neptune, that can't be coincidental.

Thanks Hypatia! My H5 ruler is H3 Leo Venus on the IC. I am rarely attracted to Leo Suns, but in the last couple years I have experienced Venus conjunct Mars synastry and this I do like! There are many squares in my natal so I am drawn to squares and oppositions in synastry. I have Pluto in Scorpio, so anytime I date two or three years younger their Pluto closely squares my Venus. But in general I am drawn to Venusians. Many of my friends, family, and lovers have Venus heavy natals and important Venus contacts to me in synastry. I think my relationships with the women are better and my best romantic relationships had more to do with my H7 and its ruler Jupiter.

I can imagine it work very well for me but he would have to be the eccentric subtype. The things we could accomplish together, the obstacles we could overcome and stay intact, the understanding of our not so pretty qualities we could have...Tempting.

My longest relationship of 4 & 1/2 years was with a guy born the same day/year as me jus 12 hrs ahead of me. He had Leo rising + moon and I have Taurus rising + Virgo moon, it's crazy how much a difference it made between us just from our ascendent and moon signs.

We have a huge t-square of 7 planets +Scorpio Venus conj Pluto, so what we had in common synastry wise was really intense, and with our sun/Mars/merc conj we would get into arguments all the time, he was really cold/distant and moody with his Leo moon conj his ASC in the 12th house, he took me for granted and was too preoccupied with himself to really spend time with me or be that nice to me really.. His t - square was in his 2H/5H/11H and he was much more physical and motivated towards making money than I am, versus I have my t-square in the 6H/3H/9H and am much more focused on philosophical/spiritual studies and creative pursuits, he once said to me"sorry I'm not a philosophical faggot" ha we use to really clash on our ideals and goals, that's why we ultimately didn't work out, he wasn't willing to grow with me so I left.

After I left him and was pretty cold in the end.. Years of fights and him not really spending that much time with me I got numb to him, he hurt my feelings so much it was easy to leave. When I left he did a complete 180 degree turnaround (the Venus/Pluto conj) and he ended up changing his style, became obnoxiously more open to everything, I felt like he got into everything I did to try to impress me? But he's a totally different person now, still overbearingly arrogant ha but I suppose we get along alright now, we seem to easily bicker tho, the way he words things! It's the Mars/Pluto that makes it touchy

Other libra males I've met I really liked, I just feel like it doesn't work out for whatever reason yet. I like Libra's, It's quit an interesting sign to me, I've met so many agressive and quarrelsome women/men Libra's.

With a taurean...I laugh every time I think of this.

Prior I'd been in such a stressful, confusing, heartbreaking ... Intense situation. Prior to that too a stressful r/ship but for different reasons. Fire and water signs.

And this taurean was so direct and straightforward. Matter of fact bordering on interrogatory and I might have teetered back from it if I wasn't the same sign and understood entirely the energy. It was a bit like looking in a mirror although I'd suppressed some Taurus traits so as not to appear boring or one dimensional. (Scorpio asc) He actually showed me the positive aspects. When we first met prepared the meal in my kitchen and it was so easy, it was a revelation to me that it didn't have to feel like a chess match to be with someone. But it was so funny to me too ..

I was very comfortable and felt safe and I wasn't ... Unchallenged, there was still a chemistry and I recognised that switch too between directness and sensual.

It wasn't boredom but it was almost too easy - it was as easy to let go of as to hold onto. But I do have good memories of.

he was bossy though quite a bit and would hold onto the facts of something, not see the less obvious .. That was also refreshing and quite good for my sag moon because it was freeing in some ways to stick to facts. But not sure how well would have fared long-term

I can't really convey what about it makes me laugh .. I think it was that it was like my own brain being laid out before me as a blue print. That's probably why there was no impulse for more but it came at a good juncture in my life. Thinking about it taurean men do seem to appear when I'm burned out otherwise and feeling lacking, negated myself - it's like a reaffirming thing or a reminder I've worth.

Ive realised my experience dating the same sign was so funny to me not only because it reflected my sign mannerisms but because it unstoppered my moon which rarely happens. My sun felt accepted, covered and this gave me an invisibility of outer self (normally my asc and sun, being opposed, bat this between each other for maximum stress and minimum substance) so my moon felt it could come out - like people will skinny dip in the dark. So part of what was humourous to me, I think was the pure effervescence of sag moon unleashed.

Anyone else's moon or other planets come to typify their self in relationships with the same sign?

I once dated an Aqua male who only a few days apart (I am a January and he is a February). The only difference (the planets) is our moon, I am the Aries and he is the Libra. Unfortunately it was only lasted in a month because his long time girlfriend (which I didn't know he had one) called me in the middle of the night while she was with him. The next day I invited him to have lunch together and I talked to him about his gf midnight phone call. He couldn't make a decision (indicisive Libra thoughts?) so I decided to break up (how long can you make an Aries wait for a decision? lol). Our break up was so smooth and easy in communication, we didn't break the friendship.

The great thing I found dating the same sign is we have so much understanding to each other personality (the traits of the sun), like we can complete each other sentences. I was once afraid about the monotony (a.k.a boring) too because our planets are similar (except the moon), but unfortunately it was only one month of great, easy flow and sweet relationship. I don't know what's gonna be happened in a long term.

Again, each Aquarius are all different. One of my male bestfriend is an Aquarius with moon in Scorpio, he is now my neighbor, moving in this month at the same neighborhood. He is so different with the Libra moon above.

My childhood friend (we lived at the same roof for a year on the first year of my new employment) who also only one day apart and I'm not really sure her moon (either in the last degree of Aries or in the early degree of Taurus), is way more extrovert than me, more loud, more easy going, more wild. Leaving this shy, quiet, who would rather reading at home than going wild, introvert girl was a little bit confused at first (I thought I was an alien and my ship was sinked somewhere that I couldn't remember where lol) before I finally found out the whole natal chart thing.

My last boss also is an Aquarius and we were a very great team at the time (I love it so much and I wish I have a boss like her again). We have a huge age gap but it was always like having a conversation with the same age. She has Leo moon. We never have any problem at work, we are like completing each other sentences too. She never has a problem teaching me because I can totally understand the way or why and what she talks about, or maybe because I am a fast learner? lol Idk. People (including my bf Gemini sun) saw her as bossy and dramatic but insanely smart. But strangely enough I didn't see her being bossy, maybe because I always obeyed and easy with her?

I also have found some Aquarius who are too cold, rude (highly sarcastic) and distant, but again I never saw two or more Aquarius are the same so I never put them in the same box.

Overall, I would love to date another Aquarius if only I not getting stucked with the Gemini. lol.

to the moon in Aries comment and I am not surprised two Aquarians did not break the friendship after breaking up, lovely.
