Can be a bit more of the same or monotonous kind of Like dating a third cousin comforting but also a bit boring bc you are so similar..A bit kind of dating yourself comes to mind too... Both of my parents are caps and both of my grandparents from my dad's side are aquas and yes both marriages are very stable with rarely any fights, I don't think my grandparents fought ever tbh. My cousin is a Leo married to a Leo and yes all three examples I have given are of couples who never got divorced and never will and appear very united but there is also something about these unions that I don't like, the predictability of it I guess.. I see what you mean.My first boyfriend was a Capricorn, and I think that monotony was a factor in our break-ups. We got along so well platonically that romance almost felt like overkill. He is an Aries moon and we still never argued or had any tension. It was always, on both sides, "Well, whatever you want to do, that's okay by me..." IP: Logged |

I think it reallyyyy has to do with the moon and venus/mars. Am A cap with a cap, but we are the perfect yin/yan. Even when you see us: I am blonde hair, blue eyes, petite. He is tan-ish skin, black hair, brown eyes. But we fit perfectly and have commented that even in pics we look like we fit like yin/yan. I feel like we have a very Scorpio/Pisces kind of relationship - he has tons of Scorpio in his chart including his Venus and his rising sign. I have tons of Pisces in my chart including my Venus and Mars (his mars also is in pisces). Then he has Virgo moon and I have Libra moon. there are a lot of different factors but we have a balance of being totally different but being very similar in energy, personality and how we love. I dated a Cap before (he was my first love) and that was the toughest, most painful relationship ever. In that case, I felt like because we were 'so similar', when we started to grow up and stretch our wings/ show our individuality, it was a threat to the relationship rather than a new layer. We fought horribly - it was the most volatile, angry relationship and the most hateful break up of my entire life. We still don't talk, though we tried on multiple occasions to make amends. Wow! Sorry you went through that... I can't imagine it with another Cap! My guy had Aqua Venus conjunct Jupiter, his Venus sextile my Sag Venus, I think that's one reason we were always happy. Oh and his moon conjunct my Jupiter perhaps. When he liked another girl, I just let him go, which did upset me at first....and then he would write me notes asking me to cheer up. He'd call on the phone to make sure I was okay. Basically for as long as I knew him he was caring and protective. We dated again when I was in college, but the distance interfered. And as I said, it was almost too easy, being around him. IP: Logged |

They are not the same. I once knew an astro-twin just born hours after me in the same hospital. If you saw us together, I bet you'd have never guessed we were born on the same day at same hospital. Our houses being different was enough to give us both a very different vibe and outlook. I've known plenty of Libras, and none felt like a reflection to me (the one I found closest to being a reflection--at least the fun house mirror kind--is an Aquarius sun). And why should they? They've got so many other differences in their chart, in addition to a wildly different background from me. They were not boring or anymore predictable than anyone else. IP: Logged |

I don't think you get what I mean. My parents are not the same, no two peaple are, and have many differences yet there is still this predictability about same sign couples that it's not my cup of tea personally. I am probably not explaining it right and perhaps don't know myself exactly what I don't like about it although respect it 100%. IP: Logged |

I like other Geminis and most don't feel like the same personality as me. Different ASC, different aspects...etc.Other air signs? Nooo...I don't relate too well with libras. I have a Scorpio Moon I can't handle harmony and roses all the time. Aquarius? Uhhh no...it squares my moon. There's something about that sign that annoys me to no end. Like a sense of fakeness from wanting to be friends with all the world and then failing to give warmth on one-to-one interactions. It always a matter of synastry. I'm aware that what's good to me is not to another and vice-versa. But I really like Gemini Suns but...I have problems with Gemini Moons. They fascinate me but I don't feel the intensity I need. Well I had 2 other Virgo relationships.(of the lengthy type) No complaints on predictability here. Most of mine have been with Pisces(of the lengthy type). Much more difficult but very rewarding. I think I prefer the Virgo to the Pisces intimacy. But then my experience is very limited. I think the other placements make a big difference of course. One of each sign also had Virgo rising, one Pisces had Virgo on 5th.World of difference. My Neptune is very strong so not like most Virgos. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Same here Neptune is my strongest planet. I have dated two Virgos, one gave me my first orgasm but he dropped me bc I lived too far away and he thought I was a tease lol, I was a virgin and I wasn't going to give it up to him, that was going to happen fully in my terms and me doing all the choosing not out of pressure. But I had a nice time. The second Virgo I was really into for a while and we had a good time, summer thing. Pisces there were 3 and they were really more like hook ups, we don't really work, end of story. Prefer Virgos too. IP: Logged |

I whould tend to agree I'm a alot more earthy and thus a more serious gem. I dont think there are many with the same aspects as me. The weird "looney" gemini females tend to drive me nuts. The more serious types I tend to get along better ie Suzy Orman, but just a bit better. On the positive side most gem suns understand other gem suns jokes or how they test or try to play mind games on each other. IP: Logged |

I had a child with one. Never will date one again. But great as friends. Also feel like this in regards to opposite. I am a women and know my faults. They are big. Don't want this in someone else. I need to be the women in a relationship. Pisces Sun. We either evolve or we don't.------------------ All that glitters is not Gold. IP: Logged |

Hmmm Yeah I'm not very interested in Aries men romantically... although I *do* like them. I could even be attracted possibly... but not seriously attracted. It is a bit like a third cousin type thing hahaha IP: Logged |

The "Holy Trinity" for me tends to be Cap, Leo, Cancer (Moon by house and sign and Venus/NN respectively) Scorp and Gem rank second tier (Sun by house and sign plus Scorpio Asc)I "like" some Gem placements among others, but I'm drawn more to women who connect to my Moon or Venus/NN. All this of course is secondary to aspects. Aspects >>> placements > Sun sign IP: Logged |
