What placements you think are responsible for this?

Do you laugh at yourself and get a good laugh at yourself from time to time when someone points out things about you and you just laugh hard bc they know you and is true.

If so what placements do you think allow you to be this way?

I do. I prefer it to the rest of the time, when I feel like I'm apologizing for my very existence. I say, "sorry" *a lot*.

^Your goal for 2016 is to stop saying 'I am sorry.' Every time you feel you are going to do it stop yourself, stay quiet and instead think to yourself 'Its Ok, these things happen all time, I am fine, I am enough.'

Just remember both are forms of humility, a good thing.

yes true but saying 'I am sorry' a lot can also mean low self worth and excessive submissiveness and guilt.

I agree that its a type of humility but she says she does it *a lot* so she is aware that is a problem. She probably grew up with dominant types or married one who blame her for their own issues and mess ups and she learn to say sorry a lot even when it was not her fault to keep dominant types temper from escalating more. I have been there and is not ok or fair and she can change that easily it just takes self love, self regulation and determination.

I like when people who are close to me point out stuff about me, mostly because it shows how well they know me and it makes me feel fluffy inside. I laugh when I make mistakes, or when hysterical things happen (like when my s.o accidentally send one of his shoes flying straight into my face) and don't mind others laughing. I think it's because of my sag mercury, I like a good laugh, although sometimes I laugh at the "wrong" thing/time.

I have a bunch of cap placements. There is a grump living in one section of my mind. With people who are not close to me, I'm more "difficult". Like if they point out something that I think is right, I'll be like "They know me..." and I'll laugh because I love it.

If they say s.t about me that I think is not right, my inner grump will be like "Who the hell is this schmuck, acting like s/he knows me". The grump gets grumpy not because they say things about me, but because they get it "wrong" (not surprising, since they're not close to me). Other characters of my mind will calm the grump down by thinking "Yeah maybe I come across that way" or "They're just saying, no need to be grumpy"...etc...

When I think about it, it sort of makes sense why there are virgo-influenced people in my life and I like them. They notice patterns, analyze, think things through, and when they point things out, usually it's right on target.

when i loose my humor that's when i'll (and others) know my last remaining sanity is gone too.

i think moon in 3rd house, virgo-sage goes well too for self-deprecating sense of humor

No Sag moon, but same. I especially laugh when I or others physically trip... It's hilarious, as long as someone is not hurt, of course. ://

Yes, I'd say Sag stellium (including moon). Though sometimes it's a bit of both, me laughing at myself, and at others who make assumptions on me based on accent and stuff (that is, I'm mocking stereotypes and the like). I guess I'm just laughing at the world.

It seems to me that the alternative to laughing is despair.

On a related note, I've always admired, and been the most attracted to, groups who poked fun at themselves. While neopagans have all the same toxic people as other religions, they seemed--once upon a time--to laugh at themselves the most, and I found them most attractive then (though since then the humor there, especially the ability to laugh at themselves, seems to be drying up like the lakes in Texas and I've distanced myself from them). Though I'm not a political anarchist (was at one time), I still like them the best because of all the jokes they (the less whiny and/or self-righteous ones anyway) make of themselves. It seems nearly every other ideology and political party takes itself way too seriously while focusing all its humor (often cruel) against rivals, no matter how kind they say they are, and that makes them look bad (and weak, no matter how much social clout or public power they may possess) in my eyes.

Oh, I'm not as bad as I was, but thank you. But it's not as bad as you think: I don't let other people blame me for things I haven't done. It's more that I feel like a burden right now, to one person in particular. But we also joke around a lot - and he has told me to stop apologizing.

I think my Gemini Moon/Venus sextile Jupiter, helps me to see the funny side of things. Including myself. I have times when I take myself too seriously, but they're connected to real anxiety and depression. That's why I need to get out, to get out of my own head. When others are contributing to it instead, which has happened, it doesn't help.

I definitely see the funny side of things, though, unless it's something uncalled for. I commented on another site, the other night, when two different guys were being mean to a woman, and moderation did nothing.

Klutzy Aries probably helps, too. I usually have quick reflexes, but I'm clumsy, get hooked on things (somehow), and even went through a phase of not being able to get out of public bathrooms. The doors would get stuck, and I would just be thinking about trying to shimmy underneath, when they would finally open. And I finally had to get a new winter coat, because it would knock things off shelves. It amused others - like when I brushed past something in a busy barnes and noble, just before Christmas (2014), and something rubber attached to the end of a shelf, made a noise as it rolled down and collapsed into a heap on the floor. I stopped, moved backwards a few steps, grabbed it, and shoved it onto a shelf. but I heard snickering behind me from a couple who saw it happen.

Mum - a Sadge - is the one most likely to crack up with me, if either of us does something embarrassing. Dad will, as well - Taurus, with Mars/mercury in Aries, and Sadge ascendant.

Might be a lesson to learn.

@muddy

I loved your comment.

I'm ridiculous, so I basically give myself no choice, I have to laugh at myself.

Maybe it's a Sag thing as others have said. One of my best friends growing up has her Sag moon conjunct my Venus. I've never met anyone who laughed at herself more. Put us together and we are laughing about 75% of the time.

My Sag Mercury brother & daughter are both hilarious and will make fun of anything. My daughter & I should not appear together in public, we set each other off to the point where we're an embarrassment (as anyone who saw the video I posted here can attest to.)

My best friend is funny but she doesn't really laugh at herself. And neither do some of my other close friends. They might be silly or a mock a mistake, but they never present themselves as simpletons the way I do.

And come to think of it, none of them have any personal planets in Sag.

Maybe all the Saturn outweighs it...I tend to get closest to other Capricorns or sun-Saturn people.

Same. And I will laugh at you for spilling your drink, dropping your pen, etc. because I can relate (I am very clumsy!).

I can be very agile and walk fast very smooothly to perfection but also have a very clumsy side. Mercury rx conjuncts my MC and semisquares my saturn. I guess my clumsiness and slip ups are very public, I get an audience when I am clumsy making me seem clumsier and stupid when I am actually pretty smart with my deficits yes and no genius but very smart in some ways but not in a very mainstream way, there is so much common knowledge that I am oblivious to, things that others typically pay attention to I don't and just goes right through my head but you can say that things that people tend to ignore and goes right through their heads I pick up on and want to learn more about.

^this applies to my thinking process too. I can be very foggy distractable benefitting from repetition but my thinking process can be very agile smooth and deep as well.

You will think I am smart but also notice how I am oblivious to certain information and I suppose that will puzzle you about me.
