Actually I am in the position to offer my experience. As I've had this aspect with someone before in the past. I didn't know you knew about every relationship I've been in I mean really? Lol

The possibility exists that you're lying.

I as a male have never been drawn to Ven/Scorpio type people for love i.e Scorpio Sun/Moon/Mars or Asc. Even Pluto types don't feature much.

I do like the more intellectually inclined type. So am drawn to guys who express themselves well. Glasses tend to it for me.

Mercury types are hot to me and make my heart race. I like sparring with a partner and bouncing ideas off of them. So I prefer the air types.

In my case, I think its Air types. My Mars is in Libra AND in an air house.

Its interesting that in Vedic,I am strongly air i.e Ven /Moon air signs whilst Mars is also in a Mercury ruled sign(Virgo)

I have Mars and Venus in Pisces and I have never been attracted to a Pisces sun or someone with heavy water. I tend to go for Earth types, an element that I lack in my chart.like Dumuzi said, I want someone to complement me, offer me new perspectives. I'm not a cookbook Pisces either though, I'm quite impatient and hasty and Earth guys tend to balance that out quite nicely.

My Venus and Mars are in Cancer. I think that's the one water placement I dislike in a person. They're too clingy and stuck in the past. (it obviously depends on the entire chart though) Although I do tend to be attracted to Cancer AC's.

Venus in the first house... wouldn't necessarily say that I'm attracted to Aries types although there has been an instance in the past where I was, so maybe I'm wrong. But he also had a lot of Pisces and 12th house stuff. But his Arian nature was very in your face which I actually liked. But maybe it was the complexity of both together.

Mars in the 2nd, Taurus people I really do not like even though I'm a Taurus myself.

However, I'm mostly attracted to Aquarian and Piscean types. Neptune opposes my Venus and Mars and Uranus opposes my Venus.

And I heard the house your Sun is in can play into the attraction factor, which makes sense in my case with Sun being in the twelfth. Since it's what you 'see'.

Also, since moon is a receptive energy, it can play into the types that you attract as far as house placements go. Which is also the case with me, I tend to attract Pisceans too and my moon is in my twelfth.

Never been attracted to any sign compatible with my Venus and Mars.
I'm attracted to my 5th and 7th H signs.
So do my 2 friends who have almost same natal charts to mine (except of Moon and house signs)

We are all attracted to different kind of men

Me to men who have their planets in:
• Scorpio (my 5th H and my Sun-Moon midpoint) • Capricorn (my 7th H)

Friend 1 to men with a mix of:
• Aries (her Sun/Moon midpoint)
• Leo (her 5th h)
• Libra (her 7th H)

Friend 2:
• Aries (Sun/Moon midpoint)
• Libra her (5th H)
• Sag (her 7th H)

And when I say a mix of these I mean all their personal planets are in ome of those signs

I have Mars in Virgo.
I'm not attracted to Virgo men, in general.
My Venus is in Taurus, Taurus men do attract me.

But in general I feel very attracted to the men Scorpio or Capricorn, sexually.
Emotionally and sexually, I'm attracted to men cancer.

That Mars is the attraction factor for women, and Venus is for men, is the traditional model for a time when men and women, due to traditional social roles, were much less able to live out their anima and animus, respectively.

"The anima and animus are described in Carl Jung's school of analytical psychology as part of his theory of the collective unconscious. Jung described the animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man, with each transcending the personal psyche."

Therefore, the genders tended to access these planets in their charts through relationships with the other gender.

This still occurs somewhat depending on the whole chart. I agree with the op that the attraction is because of their Taurus Virgo placements, and I think this is fairly obvious. Also, because it's a stellium in Leo and the psyche seeks to balance, more fire would not be suitable to achieve this.

Clearly due to complexity, there is not a formula that applies to all charts. But there are some baselines that can be referred to.

I've never heard before that Mars conjunct Venus is violent. But, as these traditional roles live on in our world, it can be confusing for some (and rejecting) if the roles are reversed: eg, a female's Mars conjunct the males Venus.

The reason that Sun conjunct Mars is more likely to be "violent" is because they are both active, "yang" planets, and there is ego competition for territory between the two when conjunct. Whereby Venus is more yielding to Mars, being a "yin" planet.

It's funny that people don't think Men are attracted to their Mars sign. That hasn't been the case for me.

It was never said that Mars/Venus was violent.

ChildofVenus, typically, misread what was said about Sun/Mars. Then went on a tangent about her Sun/Venus relationships.

I like him too much to ever be violent towards him. His Saturn aspects my Moon, Mars and Mercury so that could be why. His Saturn influences me I can already feel it.

Thank you Sassaqua. I think you explained this well. And agree more fire would not balance me out. Although fire could understand fire I think could also create more conflict as if too much of one thing might not be a good thing.

Men are attracted to their moon sign. A guy's moon will tell you more about his type than any other planet.

Friends with benefits that hasn’t mattered much exactly lol. Most men don’t care about emotional connection. They just want sex which is Mars.

well i care about emotional connection in a relationship because otherwise why put up with any of it if there's nothing more between you? but yeah with just sex i can't see a reason to care about how i feel about them or their feelings or any of that it's just getting off so if they're down and i'm down that's all that matters

everyone i've hooked up with whose chart i can think of has made contacts to both my venus and mars i'm pretty sure

I have trouble connecting on an emotional level. So maybe that’s why it’s not a must for me I guess it depends though. But even if my Moon is unaspected the person usually had a Moon that is compatible with mine. I like Men with Moon in Sag because it’s compatible with my Moon in Aquarius. I’ve hooked up with people where my Mars is unaspected. It’s ok I guess I don’t know lol I’m guessing that parallels don’t count.

But it's confusing because this one guys Mars doesn't aspect mine but he seemed to enjoy the sex with me but my Mars makes a wide conjunction to his Venus. So I don't really know honestly.

i can connect with people and care about them, but usually on more casual levels

me feeling things very deeply is a rarity, but i mean that's what makes some people more special than anyone else isn't it?

i've actually never made the first move lol so it's been who's been drawn to me and people who are drawn to me always connect to my mars or my venus or both

when it comes to that guy in particular idk what he's like, but being real i can enjoy sex just because it's sex and not really actually be into the person or think it's necessarily good sex

it can just be the equivalent to having a few beers except they're not really good beers so you got a buzz and that's cool but a different kind of beer would've been an improvement

or smoking ****** weed over good **** you get the idea

you get enough out of it for it to be fun but it's not anything more than that

so i'm sure he enjoyed it on some level at the very least no doubt

has he been in touch or anything?

Yeah I think he actually enjoyed it. I'm the one who feels iffy about it. Yes we've talked since then he said he had fun with me. But I think it's more about us hanging out and being together. We went to dinner, the movies and an arcade. I think sometimes I put too much emphasis on sex. So it's awkward when I think about how I actually enjoyed this persons company over having sex lol. Like with the Virgo he and I meet up for sex and basically that's it. We do talk and stay overnight with each other and sometimes it's fun with him too. But I think I prefer being with this guy even though the sex for me isn't as good as it is with the Virgo. I guess I'm just learning that sometimes it's not ALWAYS about good sex. But it could just be that it was only our first time. Maybe next time it'll be better.

How wide is the conjunction? I have a wide orb of my mars trining a guys sun of 8 degrees. Wonder if that helps because our Mars square almost exact and his Mars is oppose my sun/moon conjunction in tight orb. I think what helps too is my Eros trine his Mars almost exact.

You forgot one more and this one is even bigger than the ones you listed, from what I have seen in many places. That is, sun square moon in synastry. I can't tell you how many times I have seen this in married couples, too many times.

well if you get along otherwise then maybe sex just won't be what you both end up having between you

relationships are more than sex, but i'm going to be real here it definitely helps, but it sounds like you can at least be friends with this guy and chill and maybe when you get more comfortable with each other the sex will get better for you

what something is about all depends on what you're looking for ultimately

it seems like you're not too sure of what you want entirely though

So it's a BIG FOUR, you say. Curious!! And you've seen Sun-square-Moon in the absence on the other three?

According to Westran, while the square is the most prevalent aspect, it is separative. Thus never allows for true bonding.

Yeah I know sex isn’t everything but everyone likes sex. I think it may have just been because it was the first time.
