My Venus is in late Taurus, my wife's in early Cancer. We've been married 8 years.

7th House Aqua Venus with nearly exact trine to Libra Pluto and sextile to Sag Neptune, and close square to Scorp Uranus, in open relationship, but married to fellow Aqua Venus in 1st House with trine to very close Libra Jupiter Saturn conjunction.

Fell in love recently with 7th House Pisces Venus conjunct Saturn, sextile Cap Neptune Aqua Uranus conjunction and trine Scorp Moon Sag Pluto conjunction. But now separated.

My husband and I have been married/together a decade. I’m Venus in Cap he is Venus in Aries. This idoesn’t seem to be “ideal” but I think it’s Moon and Venus aspects that are more important than Venus-Venus.
I think what actually ties us together is that he is a Taurus Moon and I’m a Sag Moon. (So, his fire Venus likes my fire moon and earth Venus likes the earth moon) is this true for anyone else?

The friend was not lying, others vouched that he did do that because he mentioned it. So sly...

The thing is that I didn't take as much offence to him doing it as I did take offence to being the last person to find out about it. That hurt a lot and I told him that that for me is the unforgivable part-lack of trust for him.

I forgot to mention I have Asc in Aries. And I do agree that Scorpio and Gemini can be a challenging combo but not impossible.

Thing is that Scorpio has Gemini in their solar 8th house and so Gemini allows Scorpio to get in touch with its proclivities and unleash the "inner freak".

The lightness of touch that Gemini has on often tense and heated Scorpio is just want they need to get off and not feel judged for their sexual wants as Gemini is more curious and versatile than judgemental.

The trick is finding the "right" Gemini as I have to admit that the sex was fantastic. The Gemini released all control to me and I was the proverbial "Christian Grey" and he LOVED it.

It could be that is why I tolerated the other annoying bits about him because he fulfilled the intimacy area and was uninhibited there.

The only other position that did that is Mars in Cancer & they are hard to find (curiously)

But I attract Gem more readily & consistently Infact, there's a Gem Venus/Taurus Mars who is flirting up a storm with me right now. His kisses are the stuff of dreams....

We have been married almost 20 years and began as besties before that (total yrs together (22 and friends 23). We were a constant in eachothers orbit and then we were married.

However, In recent days a lot of changes have rocked our foundation beyond comprehension. Unfortunately my hubby doesn't  understand or care to re astrology,  thus his being on my same pg to to get these changes in alignment (a lot to do with growing older too) has been a huge snag.we are working  it out tho. Saturn going direct seems to be helping as the timing has been apparent in the smoothing that is slowly working on these rough patches.

We have these aspects:
Sextile my Venus/his Jupiter
Cnj 1a   Venus/Saturn (our glue)
Trine 1as  Jupiter/Venus
Sextile Saturn/Venus
BQ 0s Neptune/ Venus
BQ 0s My name asteroid/ Venus

In midpoint:
It sits in h5 (tau/trop)
Venus/Mars sextile  by 1
Venus/Saturn semisexile  1s
Venus/square  Jupiter  1s
Venus/Uranus  biquints 1s
Venus/bml  biquints  0a

In prog midpoint the snags are evident -
Venus/Mars  semisexile  1
Venus/Saturn square
Venus/Chiron square

Wow,Cancer Venus with Aqua Venus is interesting. I would think these two don't have much in common but then again, one could look at complementary aspect to either.

Like Venus in Aqua in the 2nd/ 12th or in aspect to Neptune can alter things. As is also the case if Venus in Cancer was in aspect to Uranus or Saturn etc.

Hmmm,I could argue that your Venus in Aries is offset by something else? Venus in Aries is far too much of a swashbuckler than Venus in Libra would like.

Perhaps initially the earnest, straightforward nature of Venus in Aries would be attractive /sexy?But after a while,it starts to be a sore point as this "impulsive" nature morphs into "abrasiveness " according to Venus in Libra.

I as a Scorpio Venus don't attract many Taurus Venus at all.Infact I attract more Gemini Ven (curiously ) than Taurus.

Two Venus in 7th together is a heady mix of romance (barring other contradictory factors).

I find that two Aqua Venus people are the type to entertain an open relationship. I don't think I would survive as a Sco Ven :laughing :

Or perhaps his Venus or yours is modified by other aspects? Or placements?

You are right that it's not an "ideal" match. But it is of great advantage if for instance the often shy and cautious nature of Venus in Cap, is complemented by the more risk-seeking Venus in Aries.

Venus in cap tends to overtaking and Venus in Aries cuts through the fluff. It is perhaps in the area of money or attitude towards valuables that tensions may rise?

"Two Venus in 7th together is a heady mix of romance (barring other contradictory factors)."

The way that I read it is that we both have strong Venus in us, but are somewhat unconscious to it and positively project it onto others (not all shadow projection is "negative"). Also that we both attract and are attracted to people with strong Venus attunement. Which is true, because besides 7th Venus, I have strong Libra, and she has strong Taurus.

"I find that two Aqua Venus people are the type to entertain an open relationship. I don't think I would survive as a Sco Ven :laughing :"

Lol, yeah, in your case, I don't recommend it!

Yes, probably more than most. The other Venus Signs I could see more open to it are Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces, but for different reasons. Aquarius in it's own way though, is quite loyal. My core partner and I have been together for 18+ years and neither of us are even yet in our 40's. We both KNOW that only death will do us part, and really, not even that will.

In my case, with the Pluto and Scorpio shading it, I have greater intensity, depth of feeling, and attachment, especially in close relationships and generally emotionally, than the typical Aqua Venus, especially since Venus rules my Moon Sign. (the square from Pluto to Sun, the chart ruler, also contributes to that, but in a more general, overall sense).

Oddly, I found out that the two great loves of my life, are both my Twin Souls. Meaning, they both come from the same half of our Spirit. No one else has or ever will compare to them. They affect me like no other Souls can.

It's actually quite common nowadays for our halves of Spirit to have multiple Soul selves going on in the same space/time cycle. I met and befriended two of my immediate Soul selves before their bodies died. My core partner has had dreams about two of her other Soul selves living lifetimes in this same time/space cycle (besides the one that I recently met and fell in love with).

No, no issues really. Our finances work out well. Communication is something we work at. But that is because he is a Mars in Scorpio/ Scorp Rising.
But in marriage I think that you don’t have to adore every single thing about your partner, but you do have to understand and accept the differences.
I would argue that traditional synastry with everything being “compatible” is a bit wrong. For example, If a Venus in Aqua and a Venus in Libra we’re married they might begin to forget about each other as they float about. There needs to be some differences to intrigue the other as well as find a balance. If anything, I would look closely at Jupiter compatibility in synastry as having similar ideals and core values is most necessary in a long term relationship and marriage. Maybe even Saturn for some karmic ties. Sorry if I’m going off topic from your post. Very interesting thread!
