I have 2 family members with heavy Capricorn stellium and both of them say this ad nauseam: Can't stop, won't stop. IP: Logged |

That comment "don't try to manipulate me with tears and BS" is manipulative lol.

My sister would mock me for crying, when we argued. I didn't like arguing, or yelling. I'd yell back something like, "they're called FEELINGS! It's totally normal!" But I had bullies mock me in school, too, when I finally started to cry. I took so much crap, and one day the tears just started to fall, and I quietly cried and tried to stop. That was when I dropped out of school. I couldn't take it anymore, and once they'd seen me cry, that was it. I was suicidal, so I made the decision to drop out, rather than remove myself from the world completely.

Good for you to do what you needed to do to take care of yourself. It's such a shame that feelings/sensitivity is not admired anymore these days. They're crucial for the human experience. Are you by any chance Water dominant? IP: Logged |

I think I'm equal amounts fire, air, and water, but I have grounding aspects. Pisces Mars rules my Aries Sun. Oh, and for anyone who wants to try to use that against me: I've been suicidal a couple of times in my life. The rest of the time, I sucked it up, buttercup. We can't all be perfect. IP: Logged |

What is your issue lately, teasel? You've been super defensive and attacking just about anyone you disagree with. I'm sad to say that I really don't enjoy talking with you anymore. I think I was very fair in my response to you, which you've yet to answer with anything decent. Maybe because you realize that you jumped too quickly to conclusions, rather than asking for clarification first. We all make mistakes, and I wouldn't judge you for judging me too quickly, if you admitted to it. Hypatia was very kind in her response to you, too. You can move on to another topic if you don't like what people have to say. Goodness knows we all do. IP: Logged |

I didn't see a response, and my issue? I wasn't attacking, and I said that I don't hate Capricorns. I was going to come back the other day, and edit out my responses, because I *was* feeling defensive, and this was supposed to be a lighthearted thread - and my response today was to one person who quoted me. I clicked to the second part of the thread, and saw it, otherwise I wouldn't have responded at all. I think this is the only thread that I've been defensive in - if you've seen it anywhere else, then you might be reading into things. Oh, I think I know what you're talking about, but I wasn't being defensive. I was just talking. I mentioned that I would edit something out in another thread, that I was reminded of. My comments had nothing to do with you. And where did I have an issue with hypatia? It didn't occur to anyone that I left my own post open on edit (and meant to edit it much sooner), and then avoided the topic, because I wasn't feeling good? I avoided the topic until now, so please stop jumping to conclusions about me. IP: Logged |

Huh?! lol as someone who has met a bunch of capricorns I must ask what on earth are you talking about? Cappy's are usually good about self-restraint and discipline. IP: Logged |

Go back to the first page, and scroll all the way down to the bottom. Well, misunderstandings happen. How am I to know that you're not taking issue with me? I posted about PTSD, trauma, and I originally posted the "suck it up buttercup" bit. And being a Virgo, perfectionism is a flaw. So you can see how one might think that was directed at me. Feelings and sensitivity are admired but just like you can over think something you can over feel something. Integrating both sides is the key. What is admirable is finding that balance of honoring your feelings while been grounded simultaneously. This place were you find a balance between your logical mind and emotional mind, were both the logical mind and emotional mind are honored and both are integrated. This place is called the wise mind and that is the balance we all need to strive for. This is what is hard and requires practice and mindfulness and is worthy of admiration. Over thinking and over feeling are easy but finding a balance between the two and integrating both in a balanced way is the hard part. IP: Logged |

Oh, and I edited in that second part of my post tonight, after seeing your comment elsewhere. That is where the defensiveness came from. I had no issue with you personally, until I saw that. I had no issue with anyone here. I was thinking of "real life" examples when I responded, like the Capricorn who spread lies about me (in real life), and admitted that it was because it was easier for people to hate me, than her husband. Hypatia: I'm sorry for ruining your thread. It wasn't my intention. IP: Logged |

Yeah, so it was directed at me. That's what I initially thought. Hm. Okay. Good to know. Please don't use suicide and depression as a weapon against other people. None of us really know what the other one is going through. That's all I really have to say about this, anymore. IP: Logged |

Libra with gemini placement and other fire: “I’m using these steel straws instead of plastic straws in an effort to save the planet.”Scorpio with virgo stellium: “Why, so you can risk chipping your tooth and have to pay thousands of dollars to get a new one? Sometimes it’s better to be a little selfish.” Lol real life example!

The ones I have posted inspire me to be more mature and resourceful and yes I heard them all from Capricorns and none of them were mean or lacked compassion. IP: Logged |

I agree. I personally see nothing wrong with their statements. I had a Capricorn father (passed away a few years ago) and he was serious, to the point and business oriented. Men in our family have had a tradition or either joining the armed forces, becoming Engineers or Businessmen. He did all three , and he inspired me to follow in his footsteps (did my time with the Military, worked as a Computer Engineer and now I work as a Businessman for the same company.) Capricorn love is a love that looks towards pragmatism. Capricorns make sure that you are amply prepared to face the world. They don't want you to stop being you but they do want to harden you up enough to make sure that you can deal with the not-so-nice aspects of the world around you. He was a strict individual but his guidance made me the independent minded individual that I am today. Anyway, moving on with the topic of the thread : A Libra with a lot of hard aspects towards their Venus, Ascendant and Mars: "There is no discrimination here. I consider you all equally worthless!" Taurus: "You pinch one more french fry off my tray, we are breaking up. Order your own!" IP: Logged |

They are great about self-discipline. My relatives just say it when they've got their mind made up and set on something and that it would take all of us to go through the seven hells to get them to change their minds. IP: Logged |

Libra with fire sign rising: "Ok guys, this is the plan! It's the perfect plan. First we're going to this new awesome place, and then....*turns to best friend* what should we do? Do we go there first or do class project? Oh, if we do the project first, it means we have to go home now and then we won't have time to go. But we should go to that place and check it out too! But I want a good grade too. I don't know what to do!"

Very well put. I feel very protective of Capricorns bc they are super super dependable and loyal good friends and very inclusive nice and kind to everyone type of people, the type to be there for you if you get cancer etc Thanks for sharing with me about your father. I am glad you had him in your life and join you in honoring his life. IP: Logged |
