To me the most brilliant thing about what Capricorns say is that they mean it.
Of course I've also met stupid people fortunate to be born around that time of the year, but a true goat, a proper goat is a creature of sublime integrity and honesty. I couldn't be prouder to have a most intimate planet in the sign. I absolutely love Capricorns.

I think this is the most irritating difference between my husband and I !!

He’s an Aries Sun/Mercury and will just spit out every bloody thought and feeling he feels and thinks at that moment; without thinking about repercussions! I, on the other hand, will actually THINK before I speak because I know that when I do speak, I WILL mean it and some people have shown not to handle it very well.

He can call people idiots to left and right. He will mean it THAT SECOND and then will have “forgotten” his words when confronted. If I call someone an idiot that person will have passed all my limits and I won’t “forget” or ignore what I said seconds later. I will have meant it and probably for a very long time.

Ooh, I feel you, I have a hard time with Aries energy as well, even knowing how they operate, it's just so easy to be upset by their ways and the fact they don't get it (or shame you for it) is so bloody irritating. "You're an idiot" but "why are you leaving this conversation, I have nothing against you" errr, insulting someone (very often because of a misunderstanding since they rushed into their primary perception of what you said while you were paving the way for something more whole to come at the end of the next sentence lol) isn't good conversation and unless you're into being called names every time you don't say something basic and irrefutable because it's hardcore proven science, it's just not pleasant or even interesting conversation. That, or horns just aren't meant to meet with no clash, either analyses work for me

I admire Capricorn's ability to be very intentional and mindful around conversations/communication for sure but I also looooove aries mix with sag upfrontness and ability to let things go and not take words too seriously, I consider that resilience in the context of been a couple as it allows a couple to repair quickly from conflicts that arise in relationships that often stem from stress anyways and is not personal. I don't think holding on to things people say in the heat of the moment is conducive to a healthy relationship and a healthy mind. People who can repair and let go tend to make it in relationships long term bc they can bounce back and repair quickly from conflict. People are flawed and will say the wrong thing sometimes.

Thank you (going by the Aries comment above, even though it's about a relationship). I'm not upset over being called out at all - I've done it myself. I'm also glad when someone finally says something that they've been holding in for a while. It's much better than letting it fester.

I've also said that I tend to love Capricorns, but my experience hasn't been that they are totally honest and above board. Not all of them. The one thing about their manipulations is that they are meticulous in their organization with it. My sister would beat me up - like when I couldn't walk for five days - and when I tried to get her to let go of me, by biting her hand, she tried to shove my head into a wall, and then ran off to take pictures **to make it look like I'd attacked her**. I never thought of doing anything like that, such as when she split my forehead open, the Summer before - I didn't go to the ER, because they would have asked me what happened, and I didn't know what would happen if I told them. I was still protective of her at the time. My safety meant nothing to her, but she still meant everything to me. And it was all to protect someone who sexually harassed me, and tried to cheat on her. She would harass me, get me to the point where I'm finally upset and not doing so well, and then I'd be put forth as crazy, as she grinned and mocked me.

When I think of the others: one lied about me, when I'd never been anything but respectful to them. I think I was supposed to be an easy target, but I will fight when something like that happens, and I was lucky to have friends who knew I would never do what I'd been accused of. That still followed me around for years, though, thanks to another person who put the lie forward. In this case, I can be civil, and I don't hate them, but I will never trust them. If there is any question as to why I still talk about it: because it happened, and because I know part of their chart. Astrology just isn't as simple as Cap = wonderful, Aries = "I hungry" *chest thump*.

I generally don't call people idiots. I put up with a lot, before I blow.

Is this an Aries versus Cappy thread now? Because I've had a lifetime of experience there. I think the most irritating difference between me and my sister, is that she sees no problem in causing so much to distress to another person, when I've never been like that.

My third house is Capricorn, and my best friend since the age of eleven, is a Cancer with Capricorn Moon. We've never argued.

Since this basically happened in this thread, I can say: I had no issue with anyone, until the early hours of the morning yesterday. I edited a post I'd added hours before, to include something, after seeing a comment elsewhere, that was obviously leading to something.

I can't do anything if an issue is assumed where there was none. I had already had an emotional day and night, then I see a comment elsewhere, add something here, and then I'm asked what my issue is. I said that I added it, after I saw that, because I was ****** . I'm fine with one thing that was said, but when it came to the other thing, I wasn't okay. I wasn't going to comment on that again, but that's what happened Sunday night. I take responsibility for the blow-up in this thread, because I edited that in, when I was ****** . It was bigger than this thread, though - I can let it go, but we're going to have continuing differing opinions on a different subject elsewhere.

I had one defensive feeling recently, and what I did was, I emailed the friend, and asked them if I was right in how I was taking something. I took it off the board, and asked, because I just needed to know if we had an issue. I couldn't do that here. I'd wondered, but not enough to ask.

OMG Teasel! I am sooooooooooooooo sorry!!!!!!!!! that is awful. I am sorry you had to go through that. I hope you are protecting yourself from your sister, its okay to protect yourself. Sounds like trauma bonding, you still wanted to protect her but she doesn't deserve you.

I have noticed Teasel a lot of progress with you taking care of yourself, it shows a lot in your comments and I am super proud of you. You matter!!!! You deserve to find peace and enjoy life, keep fighting to have more good days than bad, your life is valuable!

It's so funny you mention Aries/Sag because while I regularly get butt hurt and actually bored by Aries' bluntness I absolutely love Sag's unapologetic honesty

Now, I think what you describe is a stretch, just because someone doesn't enjoy someone who flies off at the handle, doesn't mean that they are the unhealthy extreme opposite. Of course you're right, extreme weight on words is hindering and poor emotional make-up, but so is extremely rash behaviour even in words, all are more than fine in good measure, my favourite colleague actually is Aries and I never find her words hurtful or insensitive even when she doesn't mince them

Don't you have a lot of stuff in your 7H? I have noticed people with sun conjunct venus in aries or people with aries placements but who have planets in the 7H are not very aries and are quite libra like, very mindful with relationship dynamics and communication etc, not anger issues etc...

I agree too with what you are saying, we all need to strive for balance when it comes down to it! Which is a lifetime journey I feel.

I think with aries their anger issues would show up in the home not in the work place but if an aries has sun conjunct venus or stuff in their 7H they will be be super mindful around relationships and communication. And if there are markers for anger issues in the chart but also strong venus/libra/7H influence they will be able to learn to be more mindful and manage their anger and their weakness can become their strength.

Yes. So much yes. Every Virgo I know has said a variation of this line.

I've said each of these multiple times in a day. There's always more to the story to tell! Or more details to share.

I love it. There's always more to the story!

Virgos have a graceful way of pointing out the flaws in plans and I appreciate it. Saves a lot of time in the long run.

I think it'd be safe to assume that my Leo Venus conjunct Leo Asc (asc conjunct Virgo sun) is always feeling, giving and receiving the love when it comes to you

I have no idea how so many people here have full charts for people they work with, especially bosses and people they're at odds with, when I have such relationships I'm not nearly tight enough to ask for birth details! lol
That said, I could ask that co-worker though, I'd be curious to see what comes up, she does rub our Taurus colleague the wrong way (and vice versa), but not me, maybe it's between our charts?

There's an art to it... You ask your coworker one day when their birthday is or you wait until there bday comes up and find out organically, then maybe a week later you ask them where they were born and then another week later you ask them how old they are... You get where I'm going. The next thing you know you have the information you need to figure out their chart and since I have a good memory for these things.. honestly if one week you ask them their age and the next their bday that is usually enough to figure out their placements...

Lol

Haha, yes, I see, I meant it's a whole lot of work for someone I dislike or fear And also, we agree it leaves the birth time hanging up in the air and when it comes to daily interactions in a social/professional set the rising probably is what I'm most curious about... not to mention I hide MY birthday from coworkers like a proper thief lol
Yet! lol Now you've said that, I'm so curious to generate a noon chart for that O so toxic coworker of mine lol
And now, the scorpio mars' quest for her birth place begins...

Capricorns in their 20's would say something like "You're life isn't hard, mine is hard!!" LOL I notice that for Capricorn people it is very hard to listen to people complain about their life when it is easier than theirs.
Now that I'm going though my Saturn return I am feeling my Capricorn energy (89-90's big planet stellulum). I cannot stand listening to my friend telling me they are bored and don't know what to do with themselves and their time, and wants attention. Really biting my tongue here. If I had Cappy in a personal planet I probably would not bite my tongue.

Aries: Get out of my way

Taurus house hunting: Yes, but how big is the bathtub?

Gemini: Oh my gosh, get to the point!

Cancer: I NEED YOU!!

Interesting! As an outsider, I always see young Capricorns being the ones thinking that they're the best at taking advice when in actuality they're one of the worst. "Yeah, sure ok" is the response and then they never even give it a try as they've already deleted it from their memory banks. It's the older, more mature Capricorns who can take advice.

Just one person's observations! (This person has quite a few Cappy relatives.)

Oh my gosh! That sounds like me sometimes!

My boyfriend told me not to put the cast iron skillets in the dishwasher and I'm sure you know what happened next.
