I'm listening to the astrology podcast and they mention that Venus conjunct Pluto for the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBriZO5ALoQ

I saw a picture on reddit of Ghislaine drawing a picture of the court artist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phwjUoyyFLk

Wow today has not been a hot day at all for me...to many shifts. Day one of Venus retro, Chiron went direct today, and the full moon in Gemini. My holiday spirit it pretty low today.
I've read that Venus conjunct Pluto can mean family drama too. True in my case so far.

I wonder if this Venus retrograde wouldn’t work for comebacks and regular Venus retrograde things because Venus with Pluto here. Pluto is more controlling and jealous energy. It could prevent Venus from doing its things.
I feel like I’m over everyone this week.

Venus turns retro today? Wowsers!

Anyone with a planet at that Venus degree in Capp or close to, or a planet that is square in Aries or Libra, or opposite in Cancer is bound to feel the retrograde motion more strongly.

We felt really emotional this weekend. My dog perked up last night, which perked us up, but he still needs a lot of help, and it’s just the usual holiday blues on top of that.

A woman I follow shared a Venus-Pluto conjunction tarot spread. I might see if I can link to it, or share it here.

Yes!!
I have Saturn 24 degrees in Capricorn house 9.
22 degree in Aries house 11

My marriage feels like a nightmare lately. Venus over Saturn has made me very critical of partner.

I know the work is necessary when Venus goes back into my 8th house. We will need to work on any emotional blockages we have for real results to better intimacy.

Right now we are working through the issue of how bossy and demanding his family can be. He puts up with it, but I am not okay putting up with it, and I want some more boundaries.

My sister made a good point that he should be handling his family anytime they are make me uncomfortable, and not me.
So I made sure to bring that to his attention last night. I'm sure he's overwhelmed.

We have been working on this issue for years. I will not be treated as a second class citizen to his family. He has been adjusting fine...but its still something that we have to work through from time to time.

Anyone else in the "Venus is going back and forth over my Saturn" club!?

I thought this would be super duper. Not really. My husband told me he feels like him just breathing...he is doing something wrong.

I've read this transit can make one feel an emotional disconnect to partner.

I'm still friggin traumatized over him basically having such little emotion over being d!cked around by landlord and HOA.
Almost every time this comes up in an argument.
Again he defended himself saying "I'm not there"
Like some effing cop-out. I've blurted to him before....that is not an excuse. I've accused and said "is that why you took this travel job!!?"
I think I got my point across to him finally yesterday. Like wow being gone with travel most of the year...and if **** hits the fan for wife and she's miserable and suffering, its okay for me to lack emotional support, because I'm not there, and that is most of the year. I only do emotional support if I am physically there, and my wife should just be fine with that.
I think once I told him that is basically what he is saying when he says that. He realized he didn't want to be that guy.
And then he told me that he doesn't know how to be emotionally supportive when he is not physically there.
I believe it. He is very earth heavy. Then air, and only one fire and water planet. And he has Asperger's.

I told him that I can respect "I don't know how" over "I'm not there" "I'm not there" is like saying "too bad"

God not even over the hump with this transit. This is not an ideal place for Venus to be around Christmas time. yikes!

For the Aries and Libras out there

"A square between transiting Venus and your natal Sun makes you more likely than normal to experience a change within your relationships or finances. Experiences that feel difficult at first may prod you to make necessary changes that will ultimately lead to greater benefits."

I am sorry. It does sound like a trying time for both you and your husband.

Transit Venus and Pluto going over Saturn could be a time for you to learn to develop your own power and ability to stand on your own, depending on which house in your chart these planets are interacting. Pluto would exacerbate your Saturnian fears if you stay in your fears, but if you wish to overcome your fears, Pluto can also turn around and heal your Saturn, but you will have to pay the price of deep inner transformation.

I am just babbling here, since I don't really know your chart, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Thank you! I really do love reading your insights.

Saturn is in my 9th house. My 9th house starts at 23 degrees. I have been starting to get cold feet about traveling with him. Just because emotional support has been lacking while he is away now. I am not okay with my partner only being emotionally supportive if I am physically there. And while traveling should "fix that" It has freaked me out that my husband whom I've vowed the rest of my life to does not know how to be emotionally supportive if we are in different states and I am going through something difficult. I've been in long distance relationships before...seriously no excuse.

Stawr, I get it, it is frustrating.

If I may offer more insight, people do not automatically know how to support us. Unless we tell them exactly how we understand support, people will support us according to the way they are.

You said he is heavy earth and air, so for him, supporting someone may be paying for the rent and providing tangible things, and emotional support may not come naturally to him. This is his love language.

Your love language seems to be different. From an astrological standpoint, earthy people are compatible with watery people, because water helps earth be less parched. So it's okay to be emotional, earth people can deal with water, but just don't flood them, lol.

Just something to think about as you are working out the Saturnian way to deal with the double transit of Venus and PLuto.

Hi Stawr... I remember posts from before you got married' where you said your husband has some kind of asperger's or an autistic-type of emotion-inhibiting condition?
..
It's not something he will have a lot of control over. {Any 'progress' to be made may be very slow?}

Ever watch the TV Series called "Scorpion"?
(trailer) First Look {Scorpion}
(CBS, May 2014)
[1:56] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU_hJscvdXU

(scene) Walter offers 'Paige' a Job
(Nov 2014)
[3:01] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7My8vneJv8E

In a way, the same kind of patience that Paige had to employ with her son, and the Scorpion geniuses, is similar to what you're going to have to figure out with your own husband.

It's a fun show.
Watch it, and observe how these people had to use a kind of 'side' relating to each other and in Society.

The "amount" of support you need (when you throw in the frustration of dealing with someone who can't understand and respond to you AT THE LEVEL that you 'need') might indicate that you could benefit from an outside-view of your married relationship.

You yourself may need to employ a specially trained coach, marriage-coach (or a therapist) who has familiarity WITH being in a committed relationship with someone not 'wired' for dealing with emotions, emotional partner. They can help you with ways to handle your inner-self, and, teach you communication skills that will help grow in this area with your husband.

Dig out some psychology youtubes, textbooks.
Learn about it.
Get some Relationship Advice concerning someone like your husband.

Doing that may also help you in your vocation of being a Teacher.
You might have some emotionally-awkward students who would benefit greatly by having a Teaching who 'sees' them.

Trying to hit him head-on, over something he doesn't have enough mastery of, might make your own situation worse.

Another thing? .. If you decide to have a baby, you'll learn a form of self-control you might not have thought you could master. Having a baby, small child, might have the benefit of maturing you in a way you wouldn't expect at all-- maintaining harmony with a sensitive reactive baby has a beautiful way of taking the 'slack' out of your egoic self. The baby grows... and ... the adult grows MORE.

Much Peace

{ADD... that was NOT a suggestion to HAVE a child, btw. Do 'not' have a kid if both of you don't want one. }
{Can't comment on your chart as I've not seen it if you ever shared it in a post somewhere.}

Hah, I found this pretty funny, but I have to admit, it was mostly because Capricorn is my strongest Sign, and I'm like 180* from most of the above, except the introversion part and needing/liking time alone.

(We're so much more than corporate ladder climbers, and heck, sometimes we just want to climb the ladder in the barn and roll around in the hay.) :P

I've never struggled so much with being the more emotional/passionate one so much.

My sister is the the more earthy one in her marriage. Her husband is so water and fire. So some of the stuff I complain about her husband complains about.

Ahhh that is SO TRUE. I get upset that I have to tell him what to do and what I need. It might take a few times too. But the fact that once it clicks with him he is willing. I realized how blessed I am and how strong we are. But lately it does feel constant and exhausting.

I realize how brave I am for addressing these things.
My mom wants more attention from dad. Instead of telling him she just complains to me. They have different love languages too.

So I have to give myself that perspective sometimes, that I am on the right track.

Sometimes I'll be like "it's doesn't seem genuine cause I told you to do that" But they fact he is willing I have to put that into perspective. Not everyone has that!

I think I've got many points across to him. I think it's time to give him a chance again. I could talk on the phone with him today with out an argument.

Thank you!!

Thank you! I've never heard of that show.

I did enjoy catching "House" on TV it was the only medical show that could hold my attention.

My husband and I use to to see commercials for "The Good Doctor." He is SO BAD! He use to make fun of show with out watching it and say "I'm Dr. Autismo!"

Oh my gosh I have considered counseling. Because I am not a quitter or a cheater, etc. We've talked about it before too. Part of me was sad that we are at that point in our lives...or things are that "hard" for us. But really it's like I am boosting the economy. Real marriages go through lots of tests. And I/we should be proud to do that.

I have felt more Cappyish since Saturn return. I love when he says "some of us care about our careers" Like anyone who wasn't busy annoyed TF outta me. Busy are my kind of people but not busy-bodies.

I relate more to his water sign videos he does.

Kamala Harris whose sun and moon are respectively at the end of Libra and Aries had some fireworks going on the show Charlemagne Tha God a few days ago.

No doubt due to tVenus conjunct tPluto squaring her natal sun and moon.

However, she does have Venus conjunct Pluto natally, so she is familiar with this energy.

Another person who is bound to feel tVenus in Cap direct, back and forth motion is Donald Trump, who has very sensitive Venus and Saturn in opposite sign of Cancer at 23 and 25 degrees.
