Phew, I love my family, but wow does our family have way too much fixed energy, sometimes. I'm mostly a mutable, and cardinal, fixed energy is alien to me.

Both my sisters, Mom and I suspect Dad(Asc) have fixed energy as part of their big 3. I don't. And mostly I have to play mediator. 😑. It can be a little much.

I have noticed that Fixed energy can go "all in" in things. All of them are heavily into extended family relations. I am not.

Things could get hot and heavy for us very quickly. But then cool off rapidly or through some abrupt circumstance.

Venus in Aqua is preferred over the Uranus connections. The bond seems to atleast last longer.

I couldn't care less about all that drama. My attention span is only broad enough for what is happening within the immediate family(us). Beyond our borders? I don't care so much.

That's a good word for it, mediator. Thank God I don't have Libra, with my Neptune aspects, I am spacey, at times, enough.

It helps that I have some fire, though, so I don't get trampled over, when I mediate. Getting the horns from those fixed signs, can be too much of an adventure, sometimes!

LindaLand is mostly an astrological forum. The Global Unity 2.0 forum is separate and is primarily where political ideas are hotly debated. You can hash things out in the Global Unity 2.0 forum and disagree with people all you want, and still contribute positively in the astrology forums.

Unless of course you feel the need to carry out your resentment of people who do not agree with you politically into the astrology forums. Which you are doing right now. Again, it is your own bias.

When was the last time YOU contributed and helped people who posted reading requests or asked questions in the astrology forums?

I don’t follow your political discussions to know for sure. Also I don’t take politics seriously enough to actually care that much.
I’m talking about astrologers who might avoid this place because of it. I personally care mostly seeing more people knowledgeable about astrology and reading doesn’t matter what party they are from.

teasel has repeatdly stated that she wanted to leave LL for years. I just assumed she finally left.

And if she was banned as you seem to imply, that is Randall's prerogrative. I have not followed their tussles all the time, but from what I see everyday on this forum, Randall is pretty tolerant of averse opinions.

My sister(transiting Mars in Sagittarius conjunct Dsc) saw her lose her temper today with someone at work. Transiting Uranus has gone back into her 12th house to oppose her natal 6th house planets.

There has been a breach at work(they've been hacked) and so they have to work overtime to retrieve the information stolen/ compromised. She is very irritated by that.

You might find it hard to believe, but some of us actually do care about teasel, even when we had strong disagreements with her.

Speaking for myself, I sincerely wish her well. There is a certain sweetness and childlike quality about her. I hope she has stopped doom scrolling, I hope she is taking time for herself to touch grass, renew her spirit and I hope she is able to brighten her life a little.

Jupiter rx in 2ed house (cancer) comfort

Square venus in 11th house- impulse?

Trine sun in 12th house soothing

Minor hard aspect to Uranus in 7th house - again impulse and beauty. Def want the pretty things

This seems like it'll be a long term aspect

But it started just this Monday

You have Moon/Mars wide opposition. Moon rules 2and house connects emotional feelings(Moon) to owning/acquiring things(2nd).

What you are referring to is retail(2nd) therapy(Moon). Some of us buy 🍫 or treats to moderate mood. Whilst others choose to exercise.

With Mars attached to Moon, this could also result in impulse purchases or overspending. This can get you off budget or acquiring unncessary debt.

The thing is that with Mars/Moon interplays, there is always the need to supplement action(Mars) with mood shifts(Moon). So emotions dictate what you do. This whether it is to your advantage or not (in the longer term).

The trick is always to resist acting on extremes. This whether very ecstatic or very gloomy.Wait for the intensity of the mood to pass. And only act afterwards.

This takes practice and self control. Because Moon/Mars is hypersensitive and has a very low threshold to pain/ discomfort. Its a trigger point.

As someone with Moon/Mars aspects, the other thing you can do is to look but not buy. Try on the dress, drive the toy. But don't buy. Coz sometimes it is when you satisfy the visceral need to act.And when that is satiated , you feel better.

It is not necessarily the stuff that you need to make you feel better. It is the action and doing something about how you feel.

This could also be accomplished thorough throwing stuff away, burning something, hitting something, lifting something(gym) or walking somewhere.

Action doesn't have to be something that negates or compromises your financial situation. Mars affecting the Moon (especially connected to house 2) also points to hoarding of emotional baggage and being very defensive about your "stuff".

So you may feel that you have every right to feel a certain way. And using that as a reason to get into habits that sustain those feelings of entitlement to self-medicate. Understand that.
