I went to work this morning thinking T is a bully. And then one knowflake is commenting here, one week after saying the "EFF" word in response to my reply!!! So who exactly is being a problem??? I think I may go and read jwop in Global Unity, as least his/her argument doesn't get too personal and he/she backs it up with their own perspective of facts. IP: Logged |

T, I am with you on that one. The Godzala threads have always left a bad taste in my mouth. Even when I tried to participate and post to them.
I am one of those members who logs in infrequently and doesn't post much. Not because I don't have anything to say but because I don't think me saying just anything will a) educate b)entertain or c) a combination of a) and b) In other words - writing something for the sake of writing something is not the same as contributing.
So, I'll just shut up again.But, please know that I hear you loud and clear.  P.S. I have been around for 6 years now and although LindaLand has changed very much, there are some members here who feel like family. I love you guys, you know who you are. My life is fuller thanks to you. IP: Logged |

It's okay Peri. We agreed. He said something about locking this one tomorrow, or soon. Don't make a big deal about it. At the end of the day Godzala is not going anywhere and, really, it only needs one thread at a time. LOL.Godzala Forum talk is last season. It was my suggestion when Randall was asking for topics for a new Forum, and it was met with some opposition. If only people had agreed...  If it's a viable option, I'm all for it. Though, I'm in favour of a PeaceAngel Forum.  IP: Logged |

Peace Angel ... where-ever you go I will follow! I have just one thing to say and that is that I HATE it when people talk for other members ... I prefer to talk for myself and to say that I love the godzala threads, I love laughing, and I seriously think some people should have their clown chakra's checked. Just a note on the word "sacred" ... You can't have the sacred if you don't have the profane ... sanctity and profanity require each other. The guy in Umberto Eco's 'Name Of The Rose' who was against laughing was the one who was actually the villian. Well, I hope I got the last word in : )------------------

wow i had no idea godzala threads annoyed people i thought they were normal. they never bothered me i enjoy them on those very slow days with nothing to do.they make me laugh i think i even joine din on one with PA and KOI we ha d ablast at least it think we did. wow im so surprised by this. I'm surprised too, disappointed. They are clearly marked as being "Godzala" threads, so tell me T, why is that not sufficient for you to ignore them? The thing that has upset me most is how you appear to be deciding what's good about this board and what's not. Very subjective. You're entitled to your opinion as much as the next person but I don't have to agree. I'm not even a regular contributor to the Godzala threads, but support the right to freedom of expression. They are not cliquey, I have never once been ignored, nor experienced anybody else being ignored who posted there. I don't see what your problem is to be honest. IP: Logged |

Well, I'm of the belief that there's no such thing as bad advertising.We could probably let it slide now. It's done with as far as I can see. There's only one Godzala thread open. Godzala still exists. It's a win-win situation right now, really. :thumbups: Xodian said he was going to leave this thread open for more opinions and close it some times soon. Hey Koi. This is all nonsense. It's about expression of how we are. Some people get off on discussions about spirulina and poetry, others prefer to do it the Godzala way. Why is it wrong for having some lighthearted fun? I feel people are having a finger waved at them for being frivolous and silly and intellectually substandard. What most people overlook is that the main contributors to Godzala are the ones that actually get off their arses and discuss the more "heavyweight" subject matters too. Which is what keeps this board alive. Without the Godzala threads LLC is unutterably boring, sorry to say it but I don't find a hell of a lot of other people who initiate threads.
