I just learned that Yeats was an astrologer. I know next to nothing about the guy, except that he's a famous writer. Morrissey, his fellow Gemini, cited him in Cemetary Gates, which was probably the first I heard of him. http://www.yeatsvision.com/Charts.html

THE SORROW OF LOVE by: W.B. Yeats THE quarrel of the sparrows in the eaves, The full round moon and the star-laden sky, And the loud song of the ever-singing leaves, Had hid away earth's old and weary cry. And then you came with those red mournful lips, And with you came the whole of the world's tears, And all the sorrows of her labouring ships, And all the burden of her myriad years. And now the sparrows warring in the eaves, The curd-pale moon, the white stars in the sky, And the loud chaunting of the unquiet leaves Are shaken with earth's old and weary cry. IP: Logged |

Yeats was a favourite as a teenager. Reminds me how much I used to love reading poetry. Haven't done that for a long time. Typing that made me feel like I've missed out on something.I used to borrow ridiculous amounts of books from the library. Could probably Google most of it now. Not the same. You can't smell the pages. You can't feel the texture of the book or the stitching, and bind. I like those things. IP: Logged |

I'm pretty sure Yeats and I would be lovers if he was still a-kickin'. Unlike some people *cough* PA! *cough* I require my man to have a pulse! IP: Logged |

I didn't get it PA, but I was told I was a close second, so that was good. Trying to see the positives, but hard as I will be without a job soon. That'll be transiting Saturn in my second conjunct natal Pluto then... sheesh. But I still got all my arms and legs and am not giving up hope. The job people said to me that they may have work for me in the spring, to be discussed this Friday. Thanks for remembering PA.

PA ... If I had been born 6 hours earlier I would have been an April fool. Though, I still get the jokes ... lol : D Well I didn't wanna say anything but you seem pretty fool-ish to me. You always put a smile on my face.

wheelsSorry you didn't get it, hon. You were a close second. That's good. It just means that the person before you was prepared to give sexual favours. Moral to the story - next time don't wear a bra to the interview. I hope that something really good comes from the discussion on Friday. Let us know how it goes. Fingers, arms, legs, everything crossed (well, maybe not legs) until Friday for you. IP: Logged |
