Randall,I demand you address jwhop's attitude in regards to his condescending attitude,accusations,labels,and personal attacks towards me.
I also suggest that you talk to littlecloud about the way she talks to people 'referring to people as narrow-minded.
I want an apology from both!
If you don't talk to them, and I want to see it in the forum,
I don't want to be a moderator of any forum of yours.
I am just letting you know.
If you don't do anything about this crap, remove me from moderator and unregister me from this forum! ------------------

Glaucus, you don't see that some of the things that you have said are just as one-sided. But I will remove your status as Mod, if you insist. If you want to stop posting, that is your choice. It would be a loss to LL if you left ; especially for the Astrology forum! You dished out as well and if anybody deserves an apology, it`s me for not using your indoor voice 
Anyhow, please don`t make your Astro friends pay over a few heated exchanges. Rethink leaving but nix GU on your to do list ??

Glaucus, I know your heart is in the right place, and I know you are passionate about your beliefs. But you have said that you would rather die than be conservative. That is a strong statement. It is very insulting to a large body of people. I'm conservative. And none of the Republicans that I know are racists, bigots, sexists, homophobes, or any of the other accusations you labeled us. But I didn't take it personally. Because it's your opinion. And I know myself, my family, and my friends are not like that. We abhor discrimination in all its evil forms. I am only pointing it out to show that you have made strong statements...against conservatives as a whole...and in support of liberals as a whole. I know you are not narrow-minded, but that can appear to be so to others. You simply cannot group people into lump sum categories. Raymond, I have a great deal of respect for you, and I am in sheer awe of your astrological talent. I know that you are angry, and you are not seeing clearly. You even physically threatened Jwhop. But I have been at that place before. We are only human. Take a breather. You are normally a very peaceful person. I have lost my temper here before. I know how it can cloud judgment. As I stated on fb, GU seems to be a very hateful forum to me. I steer clear from it. Being a woman of color and reading some of that stuff would be enough to make me give up mod duties and leave too But you are incredibly helpful and useful to this forum, Glaucus. Please rethink your decision.

It does get heated there. Prior to opening it, political disagreements were sprouting up all over Lindaland, so I opened GU to keep them isolated to one Forum. It takes a level head to debate politics in such a dynamic environment not lose one's temper. Many of us have failed at doing so from time to time.IP: Logged |

This, to me, sounds like a bigoted statement, as if President Obama is a terrorist. That should not be taken with a grain of salt. Thousands of innocent people were killed during 9/11, I experienced the wrath living here in NYC.

Awww, lil 10 year old Nicki  You're close to my boyfriend's age, he's 24. How old is your guy? Japanese, MAN that is awesome! That is a very useful language especially in the corporate world. I learned to say hello in Chinese by watching Kai Lan on Nick Jr

lol, my guy is 23...yea, i love studying japanese...i took chinese and spanish in high school, soo yea, LOL ------------------

you can use mandarintools.com for translations....i wouldnt say its best for translating phrases and stuff, but like if you were in the process of learning you can use it to look up words and stuff...i'm not sure but i think there is a link on it where you can sign up for classes ------------------

Thanks ees...yes i too am trying to understand GU...its a hateful forum ofcourse!I dont understand why it feels soo repulsive..there is no warmth in that forum..may be thats y the participants are also quite less there compared to other forums...Only a bunch of people rule the roost there! it is but quite obvious! Well thats how i think forums are judged with relation to being so boring or interesting..and i am very much of the opinion that GLOBAL UNITY should actually attract many partcipants and in no way be a boring or hateful thing as it is acquiring its reputation to be!
