Premiered last night, you can watch it on Hulu if you don't have fyi

What do you think? My partner and I watched it and I flipping cracked up, I find it hilarious!! He pretty much just chuckled and repeated "wow" a few times, he said he wouldnt watch it again but at least he was a sport. So now I wonder am I the only one in love with this show? No one else I know has seen it!

I'm not a fan of the bachelor et al but this is one that I will be watching!

Premise: psychologist, sociologist, sexologist, spiritual advisor get together and each with their own methods decide who should be coupled up, so they agreed on 3 couples and the show will follow them as they get get ready for the wedding, meet, and live together for a month. After which they have the option of divorcing.

Crazy, or potentially amusing? I'm watching it as a comedy for now.. :-)

LOL

Yes, marrying every guy whos cute and whos asking.

I mean if it worked for Dharma and Greg, why not for us?

What? Dharma and Greg was a TV-series?
So what? What`s the difference? I mean they ARE showing real life on TV, are they not?

Excuse me and do not confuse my Mars-NEPTUNE-ASC with realistic views!

edited out personal ramble--

I like the vibes between Jamie and Doug. He seems like a Taurus*, Jamie more like a Libra (??)...I hope they stay together. They're my favorite match.

*ETA: Actually I can't ignore how much he reminds me of my Pisces-Aries cusp brother. Maybe that, somewhere around 0 Aries, with a Taurus Venus, Pisces Mercury.

Then Jamie as a late Libra with Sag Mercury for bluntness. Virgo Venus for pickiness?

Courtney and Jason both seem like Virgos to me.

Vaughn -> Capricorn?
Monet -> Leo?

Lonake and anyone else who's watching...what's your guess for their signs?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

crazinesss

he is cute but she is a lot hotter than him...My sense is that if she gives him a shot there is a chance that chemistry will sneak up you know like vertex and pandora in the works and BANG she feels very attracted; he is cute enough that with the right synastry she could have a change of heart and surprise herself falling for him but I feel bad for her at the moment but then again she did sign up for this arrangement so...

ADD:

Frankly I would not blame her if she runnnnns for the hills.

Doesn't it work for you?

My god, I had a little spell of obsession with this show...it's okay...I'm recovered now.

@amelia:

That guy Doug is actually so well-built under the tux Once they go on vacation, she warms up to him....

Won't spoil it for ya, though, in case you want to watch! <---smart idea

Your sense is very accurate. High five to your Pisces moon, from mine! (I thought that, too.)

LOL...I dont like super hairy guys either. Not my type at all.

I dont like guys that shave their legs though...leave the legs/thighs alone but the rest of the body I do prefer moderate to NO hair...I have never dated a guy with back hair.

I have noticed cancer women seem to love hairy guys...

I find my husband much more attractive when he shaves his face.

And personally I keep my shaving routine in check...

Must be a virgo thing..

That was different, that was an emergency.

@amelia,

I'm still shuddering because you said "back hair."

Maybe it's a Virgo thing? I have a 6H sun.

Well yes. But there is a big difference between a man having a beard and a woman having a beard. Its normal for a man to have a beard plus lots of men look good with beards. Have you ever seen a woman that would good with a beard? And body hair is also normal for men. Haha I still can't get over the fact that you ran away from a guy for having a tuft of hair on his back. Heck he probably wasn't even aware of it! And besides... How much are you really going to be looking at a guys back? It just seems silly to me.

I dont like guys that shave their legs and I was very specific and explained I like guys who have no hair or SOME hair but not super hairy. I am sorry but the guy from the 40 year old virgin even though I adore him I dont find that much hair in a man attractive; other than that he is attractive.

The main character from catfish with venus in scorpio who is attractive and goofy has A LOT of hair on his chest, A LOT, and I don't like that but the rest of him is fine as well as his great personality. I am sure you have your personal preferences too..so guys can obsess about having their own preferences about what they like but if we voice them its like "how dare they?"

We are constantly trying to look nice for guys so excuse me if we demand the same that is demanded of us; after all we are learning to be this way from somewhere.

My husband does have a bear about half of the time but I feel attracted to him when he shaves his bear; there is nothing wrong with having a personal preference. He looks manly with his face shaved too and he has some hair in the front area in his chest and stomach that he trims it off for me every now and then and is no big deal.

There are plenty of guys who are super manly who don't shave their legs and have no hair in the top area naturally or because they trim it off.

Also you guys like it when we shave our parts well I like it too when guys shave theirs.

Looking attractive for the opposite sex is a two way street; not just the girls job.

I am sure if Faith truly had an amazing chemistry with this guy she would have gotten him to trim his back or something...but she is allowed to have her type.

Women grow hair everywhere but we are expected to shave and wax and we do. This is all socially constructed by the way.

In your perception which is socially constructed is ok for men to feel gross out by hair in women but not ok for women to feel gross out by hair in men.

There was more complexity to it than that... it was more like the last straw.

Thank you, you're probably right but I....I can't promise anything. Part of me likes to think I would see it coming a mile away next time.

That's how it seems to me, too. But lots of women object to men having hairy backs! It looks very gorilla in some cases.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent
